Yes the music is amazing...but the real reason why it's loved is because it's real. The emotion is real. Children grow up. Get out. Experience pain. Contribute.
I know this is a few years old. But indeed growing up with a father whos a alocholic and a drugs all my childhood to teen years.. that shit sucks as well to my childhood to age 7 to 11 was mental abuse from my step father.. it clearly not fun time but music whats helps most people.. im 24 now im fully suprise i am not a alcoholic nor got into harder drugs.. im mostly a stoner and i am happy.
The fusion of the bass and the rhythm along with the melody is slow and calming but then enhances. It's like listening to the THQ sound at the beginning of movies for 5 minutes...AND ENJOYING EVERY MINUTE OF IT
Murder Mitten, Follow Your Leader, and New Demons are my favorites SO FAR. and To everyone calling it Dubstep, and Techno, just call it Electronic so the other dude will stop bitching. Plus, that's what it is. Their songs have electronic sounds to them, which is why they call it Electronic Hardcore Music.

just because a metal band adds electronic elements to their song doesn't make it dubstep. I See Stars is an amazing band who knows when to add electronic elements to their songs and make them sound fucking fantastic. simple as that.

There's Techno elements in this song. A lot. If you listen closely you can hear a Techno bassline during parts, there's wobbles and synths thrown in at every corner. And there's even growly Skrillex-esque bass thrown it at parts. The song is very techno.
listening to the song for the first time, not done yet.. but it sounds like some techno flavor was added, because i don't like old attack attack that had stupid techno breakdowns, but techno flavor is good.
THE ONLY reason people are saying its fuckin dubstep ish, is because Dubstep . net uploaded it. But not because it's dubsteppy because it's NOT but because they upload a variety of THEIR PERSONAL favourites, and easy bandwagoners now think this is some kind of metal step. But its just a metal song by a metal band. And a good one.
