This album is CRIMINALLY underrated, certified 10/10. It's an album that no one asked for and no one knew they even wanted, but holy fucking shit they knocked it out of the fucking park. It is a masterpiece and I will always stand by that.
The Dubstep/Electronic elements on this track were actually assisted by Celldweller. Both groups (well, Celldweller is just one man, the musical wizard Klayton) are based in Michigan (my home state.) The title is in reference to the state of Michigan.
Filth Friends Unite and Endless Skies were the first songs I heard from them that made made me fall in love with this band, shortly after that Violent Bounce came out and from there I See Stars became one of my favorite bands lol

We're all desperately waiting for a new ISS album. It's been over 5 years and their last one was amazing! Hope new stuff comes soon. Great reaction! Just learned that Klayton worked on this, which makes so much sense considering his music. You should react to some Celldweller (one of Klayton's projects). He dropped a new track called 'Blind Lead The Blind'.
Devin Oliver will remain one of my fave vocalists of all time. The acoustic version of this gives me goosebumps. You should check it out. So glad when I saw them live back in the day. That crowd hit different felt like the earth was shaking. Such an amazing show.
Always enjoyed this band. Crystal ball is one of my faves of this album. And if I'm right it's Devin's brother on drums at this point. They had a change around of members for the newer album which is also a banger!
i helped create a lot of the EDM aspects on their song Crystal Ball as well as a few others on New Demons. i was a massive fan of this band since 2007 & finally got to see them live in 2010-11 right after Zack rejoined the band the first time. i befriended them by coming to their shows with weed & alcohol ready to party. that eventually led to being put on their Guest List of every tour date that i'd come to. we would all hang out & party before & after their shows on their Bandwagon or Tour Bus. i introduced all the members to Native Instruments Massive & a few VST pluggins so they could also create their own "Patches(dubstep/synth sounds)" but i would also bring them by own Massive patches i created that i would give them on a flash drive. several ones i created were used through out New Demons, but alas i never got any credit lol, i was just happy to see the band succeed at the time, a little resentful now since they kicked Zack & Jimmy out tho.

@@febryannur8466 i agree 100% that New Demons is their best album, Digital Renegade & 3D are banger albums too, front to back. i still occasionally talk to Zach & Jimmy but i truthfully dont know the "real" reason but if you asked my opinion, its this... the 4 core members that are left, also started the band ISS in 2006 as just a 4 piece but i truly believe Devin is a total ego maniac & control freak that has to have his reigns or touch over every aspect of the band. on top of the fact that im sure he was thinking they could break into the mainstream a lot easier, similarly to how BMTH did, without Zach & Jimmy. thats my honest opinion. i truly have love for everyone in the band, minus Devin, ive seen his true colors on too many occasions not be put off by him.
Yes I See Stars is definitely a favorite of mine! The clean singer (Devin) and drummer (Andrew) are brothers and they are who you see at the beginning clip and end clip (the kids). FUN FACT: the 2 brothers dad was in a famous old band I can't seem to think of what band at moment lol

This is the band's best album 💙 Devin is the clean vocalist. The keyboardist\screamer is Zach who left the band And the drummer is Devin's brother Andrew. This song was written for their mother
I don't know what songs you've listened to on twitch. But Devin was both the singer and screamer on their most recent album "Treehouse". And Treehouse is just an incredible album. Definitely worth checking out the whole thing if u haven't heard anything from it. Every album before Treehouse had a separate Screamer. The screamer on keyboard here is Zach Johnson

i remember when they first came out, they were insane. for me they fell off after when they stopped bein heavy lol. however from the sound of this it looks like they are back. cause that was badass!
Since you like dubstep infused metal you should check out Crossfaith' "We are the Future" or "The Evolution", and "My disentegration" or "New Elysum" by Celldweller (who helped produce this track, and many commenters have pointed out). Pretty much both those band's entire output is pretty solid examples of electro-metal.
