If I decide to make my chill out spot in Brazil this is the neighborhood that I can to live in, I visited this neighborhood back in the 1990's. It is family friendly with not many tourists.

@@ryce80s if you are in the tourist area (South Zone) you are fine. There are cops at every corner. And everything that matters is there. Just be street smart, look for your stuff and avoid fancy clothes. Everyone will be wearing flip-flops anyway.

I’m moving to Brazil in November this year and I’m still stuck on Rio or Fortaleza. Rio seems to have everything that you would need and be excited to see.

Rio is much better and way more suited to receive expats than fortaleza... that said, ceara its cheaper and people are as friendly as in Rio maybe even more.

@@rublaj I'm sorry but people are indeed warmer and overall much more friendly in Fortaleza. The Carioca is more of a "cold extrovert" type of people than a "warm extrovert" type, unlike the Cearense.

Rio is too crowded and expensive. Not to mention the insane heat. Of course you will love it for a few weeks, but to live there is tough.

I had difficulty getting a ticket to the Brazil match lol plus was in doubt whether it was a real ticket or not. It was just as crowded too. Great video bro. You did it all in Rio.

Did you know the Red beach is a military area? Some of the top military schools are there. Command and General Staff School for superior officers, Military Engineering Institute, a top level engineering university and the Superior Warfare school, required to be a general, as well as a naval school
