This video is sponsored by Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia. Get Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival for the Nintendo Switch here! bnent.asia/TnTRF-tokaku
In the PS4 version all the features were there, except that you would have to download it and it’s indoor downloading stuff also outfits that’s been around mini characters in the mascot things
Yayyyyy I'm so glad you got sponsored, you've suffered enough with FNF, you deserve some real recognition and the paycheck 🤣. But seriously I'm glad you're being recognized for the wonderful work you put out and the time you put into it, you deserve it ☺️. And tzechi's shirt looking amazing, not even jealous 🥲
As much as I want this game it's hard to move on from Drum n Fun after I already bought a couple DLCs. Going from community run games back to paid ones hit me like a truck with how expensive they can get.
today i found a taiko machine (very uncommon in my country (brazil)) and i started playing, at least 10 people where watching me play and in tha final of the day my dad (ex-drummer) tought i had interest in playing drums, that i don't have, and he teached me for 1h30 drum techniques.
Omg the ability to play slower and pick sections(idr seeing that in the vid but it's mentioned) is freaking amazing! So glad y'all got sponsored by Namcai! Well deserved
I ordered the pre order along with the hori drum and it came today (a day earlier than it is released here) and it took forever to get the drum to recognise input decently XD The room feature reminds me of the ds version of taiko no tatsujin but I can't wait to play more- I really hope they add some funassyi songs to the subscription or to buy OR in the base game as an update XD
Improvement mode is one of the most interesting thing I seen in a rhythm game. I wish other games try to implement something similar or improve upon as this is an avenue to get player invested in the game more especially for noobies.
Been a taiko no tatsujin fan since the ps2 days, but haven't played for a while now with the last one being on 3ds. Don't own the switch ones yet but now that there's two of them should I skip the first one and just get the new Festival one? Or better get both? I assume their DLCs aren't competitive so you need to buy packs for both?
Congrats on the sponsorship!! And good job selling the game! I’ve had the rhythm game itch for days now and this convinced me to pick the new Taiko up lol
It came out here in america today I cant wait to go pick up my pre order Edit: my gamestop told me I was the only one who preordered so they only sent one pin set to that gamestop
why the hard coded subtitles in every video her english is very nice w/ exotic asian accent & the constant movement of words at the bottom is distracting youtube has closed captioning option in every video_so why do this
After watching you for a bit, and especially this video, I've decided to buy my first rhythm game - this!! I love the style of it so much and the story elements and the way it's all explained and how you're "talked through" every step, especially when it comes to the controls and being eased in and such. Cannot wait to try playing it tomorrow and I'm so excited!! Thank you for getting me into rhythm games so much. After watching that first video I saw of you created that 2 key osu! keyboard, I've been down a bit of a rabbit hole and loving it and so stoked to finally be getting into one finally!!!
This game is great but ranking is CRACKED. Still aint got out of Easy and there's been some really weird graphical and sound issues at times. Could just be me...might just be me. Probably should buy an OLED or something
Hey, are you going to review the Corsair K100 keyboard? I'm looking for a good keyboard for my rhythm games like djmax and wonder about your opinion. (i know about gamo2 k28 but people complain about its polling rate. Not sure if its fixed now). For now I'm playing on my Lenovo Legion laptop keyboard and i don't really complain because the instant i press a key it registers, which I like. I'm just anxious about wearing down the expensive laptop keyboard too much. But switching to a keyboard with keys that have travel distance might be weird to me. I've never owned a mechanical keyboard. I've been to an electronics store and felt all the famous mechanical keyboards but all of them are not connected so I can't really know how it actually feels in-game or how mx red, mx speed, opx, etc are different while actually playing.
i think i've only ever played the japanese version of this game b4 (i hv a Wii tho, played both that are on the Wii b4) my friend brought his uncle's switch n games over for a sleepover lol (i checked agn, it wasn't this title, it was the previous switch title lel) i think i single-handedly rubbed off some of the arrow symbols on the joy-con cos of how i was spamming the buttons for the yellow spammy bits lel im rly shit at using multiple buttons to play lol, i usually end up missing the quick-succession notes
I'm so bummed about the pass thing... I mean, you already bought the game, and then you need to have a subscription on top? In a couple of years when they discontinue the service, the game will have very little content for those who continue playing it. The fact that they have the downloadable songs mixed with the in-game ones in the list is extra scummy.
The PC version is best for me... But only because of the refreshrate.... And maybe because i own only a switch lite and dont wanna buy a second switch... grrr
