Said I was going to take these shoes to places they've never been before! First Vaporfly into the stratosphere. Check out my new eBook, How To Be a Better Runner: www.nicksymmonds.com/product-page/how-to-be-a-better-runner
@@nicksymmonds what the heck did you secure the vapor fly with. This could have been the most elaborate form of littering. Also bro someone could have had vaporflys dropped on their head what possessed you to do this I have to many questions
I think it’s really cool that you do all this stuff in Oregon, mostly because I live in Bend and a lot of these vids are done right down the road! Very cool!!!!
Did I just watch an Olympian use a weather balloon to launch a shoe into SR-71 territory? Not quite sure what you're doing with your channel, but I'm lovin' it!
Nick's videos seriously are the best. I'm not even interested in running much at all. I don't run myself. I don't want basically any other running channel. I just found him because I used to attend UO and am familiar with a lot of the filming locations, and I can't stop coming back to his videos lol. One of those channels that transcends the initial audience it seems to be going after. Keep up the videos man. You got a lot of fans out here. One of my favorite channels for sure
Why tf did they use a fish eye lens tho!! could have dispelled all the crazy flat earth myths but he literally chose to use the only camera that actually causes curvature where this is none
While most in the world of athletics debate endlessly about the ethical issues surrounding the shoes Nick Symmonds sends them in to space. Excellent entertainment and a great antidote. Thank you.
Here, here! Awesome video! Crazy inventive like Ben Franklin. You're definitely an Eagle Scout! You're also an adventurer, a scout like Lewis and Clark, not afraid of bears, a movie maker, a scientist, a Run Gum athletepreneur, a wild country honcho, an organizer, dramatic risk taker, payload maniac, runner, and you make Oregon look cool fun. :) Cheers to you!!!!!
I've always been a huge fan of Nicks, but im very pleasantly surprised about the content he has been pumping out! super high quality! get him to a Million subs!
Spectacular footage!!! I haven't seen an experiment like this before. Definitely expensive but exciting, too! Also...some of those fisheye (?) and drone shots from the truck were quite creative.
I dont get why he used a fish eye lens to film space... u dont get to film it every day and u choose the only camera notoriously known gor distorting straight lines
