Honestly, I think it had something to do with what he said about postmates. She said "you wanna order postmates?" so to me that shows she wanted him there longer. But when he responded how he did, it made it seem like he wasn't really that interested and/or didn't wanna pay for her/their food. I could be reaching but I don't think so.
