i personally don't care what they sound like live. if i was there i would be the happiest fucking guy ever. i have their lyrics written all over my bedroom walls. i went through highschool listening to them almost everyday.
I was at the NC show that year and it was A BLAST!!! First time I ever crowd surfed! They even had people standing on top of other people, literally SURFING other people!! It was insane!!!
Wow it's been nearly 5 years ago since I first listen to them. I have not even caught up with there music anymore. Man where has time gone. Everything change now. I listen to them when I was a senior in high school.
Saw Matt rip a killer set w/ ISMFOF back in 2017 after some friends of mine opened up for him, filmed the whole thing, waited an hour to chat with him after the show, gave him some cash for a drink on me, he gave me a hug and we chatted about music until closing. Such a humble lad, happy memories like these never go away, and I'm 110% sure everyone in the crowd in this video can feel the same :) LONG LIVE ISMFOF
I admit there's a lot of auto tuning but just because you use that stuff doesn't mean you don't have skill or can't sing or whatever, it's simply a style... A style that this band has put into their over all unique genre that is ISMFOF.
I love these guys, and really couldnt care less that they can't sing as well live as on their recordings. You don't have to be world class singers to put on a good show, and these guys demonstrate this to the fullest extent. ISMFOF FO LIFFEEEE
Fr. how ever it is super ironic. matt has a great voice and whos idea itt was tto put autotune on his mic only was obbbviously high that day. super sillt and backwards but. as is life
People say they need a new screamer, but Matt is what makes this band awesome, his vocals sound the same on the cd...I mean not spot on but better than most live preformances.
"yea sure thks for the invitation,i ont wana be included in ur conversation, its too late, wev overthrown i took all ur friends and ur all alone" i love that part lol!
@Gustarist Actually, there were 3 memebers of ismfof. There's Matt(the singer) Nabil (the guiarist) and Chris(drums) On the CD, Nabil did the drums, bass, guitar and keyboards. Unfortunately, Nabil is not a member of the band for right now.
these guys were pretty badass in Indiana. it was cool how they were so welcoming with everyone after the show, lol they were talking to fucking everyone.
They're so much better on record, but I don't even care, I would see them live everyday if I could. I love these guys, miss the old days, but still support the new ones.
Alan Digno bet me 100. dollars that someone thought you were talking about asking Alexandria when they read this.....plebs. Stick Sticky and smokahontas will always be my shit
@panzerputney it depends, some songs have bass recorded in the backing track, some have only one guitar and no bass. they were originally a duo, their drummer chris was only added on relatively recently. before they just had tour drummers live and had mainly synth beats or recorded drum tracks on their songs.
FenderTaylorFan98 the good thing that back then these bands dident care wether they sounded good live or not they did it all for fun cause they were kids all these bands like ptv and other bands are all paid for doing this they dont do it for the fans and the fun man. Its sad af that bands like this arent around anymore
yeah, it's not our fault though. the dude who does sound for the hurley stage doesn't know what the heck he's doing, he didn't even have nabil's mic turned on for the first 3 or 4 songs.
