Singing these old hymns in that quiet baptist church I grew up was the best times of my young life. I remember everyone signing and you could feel the Holy Spirit. It’s bringing me to tears thinking about this simpler times. Thank you Jesus.

God has reminded me that our enemy is not other people around us, it is not ourselves or our failing bodies. It is against the Devil, spiritual wickedness and the dark powers that rule the world. Eph ch 6:10-12. But we don’t have to be afraid because our God SAVES!! And he FIGHTS for us! He STRENGTHENS US! And in Jesus’ work on the cross, the battle has already been won. Don’t let the Devil make you forget that you have already won this battle, all because of Jesus defeating him at the cross!
