here's the thing with the mustache, once you're a mustache guy there is no turning back, you keep coming to it, there may be other reasons to why you shave your beard but I think this is the number one reason, mustache has it's own charm that only mustached guys know. its really interesting. i like your mustache by the way, but try the handlebar again I think it suits you.
Coni Bıravo soooo true, most of people think beards are stronger but having a stach and only stach is a stronger look. I recently shaved my beard and I'm wearing a faboulous stach and very happy.
Coni Bıravo truer words have never been spoken. I rocked a beaded since I was able to grow one. But once you have a mustache it's just something inherently manly and different about it. Not everyone can pull one off, so being able to is like a badge of honor.
I love how the cheeklines of your beard are somewhat high, I don’t like people’s beards where the cheeklines are really low. And by the way, your beard is PERFECT, not one bald patch.
I've had my beard about five years now, and was so horrified when I shaved it off a couple of years ago that I grew it straight back, and it is staying now for the long term! I didn't recognise myself without it, and I'd forgotten how hard it can be to get the sideburns to exactly the same length. Never again.
The Buon Life I don't think the first comment was meant to be rude but its up to you which you prefer , and people are probably jealous because you look good with any style
thanks mate, going back to my beard now, i love just having the stache but i get far too ocd with it when its just stood alone, when you have a beard you dont keep studying it and it just all blends in lol, thanks for the response mate
+Gary Biles ya. Exactly. Mustaches are more "advanced" than beards because there is nothing to hide the crazy stuff. Gotta be spot on all the time or it looks like hell! Haha

I have been wanting to shave mine off too, just because I want to start working out. but I love it to much. so its a struggle for me to go ahead and do it or just wait and see.... but as per yours... winter and summer looks always look good. beard on sir.
One small suggestion I would make for this video is that you could have said what size guard you were using when you did the trims. For example, the first time you did the trim, you could've said: "I'm using a 3/8" guard, also known as a number X (I don't know the numbers)". That would helpful to people like me who use videos like this as a reference to see how it might look on ourselves. But overall, very good video!
Gotta say I was shocked to see you shaving the beard off! Well nearly all off. I'm growing out my own moustache and I'm amazed how long it's taking. Been growing and not trimming it for about three months now but it probably needs another three to get to something like yours. What is the name of the scissors you use?
Not sure if you know the answer to this but I’ve been doing the beardstache for a little while now and I’m wondering roughly how long you were growing your stache at this point? I’ve been growing mine for about a year or so and I’m thinking I need to trim it less and just let it do its thing to see what I have to work with. Hope you’re staying safe and healthy brother. Cheers
i know what you mean about being petrefied to touch the moustache, i shaved a 7 month stache because i messed it up by being to ocd and obsessing over every hair, started growing it back 7 weeks ago and trying not to be to ocd over it, what would you say was the length of your stache in this vid jeff, 2 or 3 months maybe? was a good look on you
lol, im never messing with it again mate, my beard is full and dense as yours is but i can take it or leave it, the moustache however is sacred and a beard is nothing without a proper stache
Your mustche is looking good and it makes me want to grow one. I been growing my beard for about 7 months and have always wanted the jump to mustache. Maybe one day I will just do it. However the beard and the mustache looks good man
I love that you always reply to comments. It is a huge testament to your character and the type of fantastic man that you are sir. No one has a better "stache" than you do either--so I certainly understand your preference with that look. Plus, it's no one's business but your own what you do with your facial hair. I do have to say though, that you had an awesome beard too. The thickness of your facial hair is most impressive. Much respect to you sir and thank you for your posts and your channel. I find the information very useful--fantastic content always. Congrats on a job well done. Hope you have an awesome summer !
Well, since you're saying to suggest a topic, I had discussed with you before about chest hair--however maybe I can add a different slant to the suggestion / request this time, with asking you to do a vid about t how much to show or not to show i.e on a button up shirt is it acceptable to leave the top 3 or 4 buttons undone if a man wants to show it off or is that too much--what's your opinion on that Jeff? and should you trim it so that it does not come up the neck to meet the beard or in your opinion is that an "in style look. Also is there anything that a man can do to thicken his chest hair? Perhaps strange topic--but there...I put it out there (LOL)
Hi Jeff, i'm sorry to say that but i'm not sure the way you take about your beard is the good one, i did know you with some picture on the web of you with and without beard, i was very impress about the change...today i like your Bronson style, but even if there is a lot of guy on the web, who gets a beard, like your friend eric from beardbrand...no there is no comparison, you have the real beard !
To be honest, your facial structure appears a lot softer and more approachable. I like both before and after, don't get me wrong. Just my opinion on it.
Jeff, as a bearded guy and a fan of your stuff … grow it back. You've got a good thing. You go any shorter and you're going to look like Ricky Gervais (lol). You have about 100 hairs on your chin for every one on mine so please know I am speaking from a place of tremendous respect and admiration … grow it!
only me again jeff, just wandering do you ever get the odd crazy hair in your stache that is what i would deem to be a dead hair or something, it will grow but its bent in the middle and shoots off and cannot be tamed if this makes sense and just will not play ball with the rest, if so do you pluck them out, cheers
it's probably not the best video to ask this question but I have to so I will....when is a good time to get beard trimmed by professional when growing a first one? I am toying with the idea but I am bit afraid... anyways ... anyone ... help!
The Buon Life , I've noticed you use several kind of brushes to maintain your beard. Have you done a video on what kind they are and what they are for?
I just cut mine off too....ugh. Huge mistake for me. Good thing is, it will grow back. My wifey likes the shorter beard, but I want my long beard back. Gonna just have fun growing it back out. Peace.
+Rich Bailey i would try re-wording "huge mistake" into "giant shock". You reflect the words you tell yourself. Stay healthy mentally, and it'll seem to grow back faster. Mine is already back. It only took two months. The firat month was annoying, but honestly, you get used to it.
Hey Jeff, just wondering how much you weigh. I'm the same height as you and was just asking to know what a healthy weight would be considering the same height because you're in great shape. Watched your "Major Trim Considerations" video and it helped a lot - recently had to shave my 8 monther off for work. Thanks
Hate it when very thick beard guys shave their beards or complain about their growing process!!(healthy envy haha) Imagine if you are like me (horrible patchy beard).. now thats a struggle!! Hate myself!!!
You had a long beard for a while, right? I think it was one of the most badass beards I have seen. What made you change your mind about never growing a long beard again?
+Loïc MICHEL I just did it. I didn't care if my GF liked it or not. After she saw it she liked it. But that didn't matter. If she didn't support what "I" liked, it would have been a problem for me.

Yes, you're totally right Jeff, but sometime it's really hard to ignore what society, people or colleagues said. It could be hard to say "f**** off, I'm what' I'm", but I'm working on it :)
