It would be worthwhile to investigate an alternative to using acetone. Once you start getting popular on the tube, you're no longer just a guy and his shoes. There's a whole bunch of noobs going to be trying it in your way.

Honestly, I disagree. Leather is such a hardy material that it's almost impossible to damage with things like acetone or rubbing alcohol, and if it does get damaged by those products, then it likely would've died to alternative products like Reno'Mat, too.

Kanzu It’s an autoimmune disease that affects your joints muscles and connective tissues your brain your skin. Causes your hair to fall out,it’s crippling. This flare up is has been for a months. It can go up to six mouth.so far for me it’s been it’s been really hard. The treatments consist arthritis medications and other Biologics and anti-inflammatory medications. So I seek out a lot of peaceful things. Since I have arthritis they have thrown in some chemo once a week which is wonderful it really makes you feel better. It’s a very very low-dose shot. I mean, I work in ironworking, welding, and construction, but I still love to dress nicely when I'm not hooked up to rigging. And even then it's always with collared shirts and waxed cotton twill, no T-shirts or denim for me.

Was talking to one of my students about a job interview and mentioned "shine your shoes." This student literally had no idea what that meant, didn't own leather shoes, and thought you just threw shoes (trainers) away when they got stinky and dirty. I'm not a "boomer" but it really shocked me that high school age kids today could not know about shining shoes.

It’s 100% true. My dad is a cool guy. Even bought my 2 year old daughter her first pair of Goodyear welted shoes. He’s loved shoes for years.
