I swear, these two have some of the most wholesome supports in the entire game. (they become extra wholesome together, just a pair of insecure younger siblings)
awe this is so cute Also yesss Hortensia, smashing apart those 'how to become confident and suddenly become a person with 1000 friends' courses that are available online. shes right. he can still connect with people without becoming a whole NEW person
Even though Hortensia wants to be popular and charming to survive the corrupt court that is Elusia, she knows that the best way to connect with people something that most people these days don't do: *Be yourself.*
That isn't particularly good advice, though. Simply telling someone to be themselves isn't helpful if they're trying to improve something they don't like, or recognize is getting in the way of their goals. Lacking authenticity, life experience, etc. will work against you if you're not setting goals to change. Self-improvement is what matters, and being told to "be yourself" isn't going to help with that as a blanket, all-encompassing statement. That includes making friends if your social anxiety and poor self-esteem don't make you particularly likable, or have developed habits that are off-putting. This doesn't mean becoming a new person, either; it's not a dichotomy.
Nothing, really. Diamant is charismatic and charming, which I suppose Ivy is attracted to because it's so unlike her upbringing. His confidence also doesn't hurt, I'm sure. Besides that, I don't see anything else. Hortensia gets flustered by Alcryst's apparent staring because she's a teenager with hormones, and she's dealing with her own insecurities. Alcryst's probably make her more comfortable with herself, which is surprising to her given what she expects herself having to do all the time (something she rather unsubtly notes). Doesn't mean she was seduced, though.
Definitely Lapis, Hortensia, and maybe Ivy, though I argue that Ivy sees him more as a little brother. EDIT: Forgot about Céline, though of course, I prefer her with Fogado.
well dang, im almost done with my first blind play through of this game and I didn't try to get these two together....I regret it now! Well guess what I'm ganna do next playthrough.
I’m guessing you like the dynamic of two people of low self esteem falling in love and both of them in their low self esteem can’t help but think their partner is more important, causing a spiral of selflessness that makes the other feel overjoyed internally but heartbroken believing they are not worth it
@@robbz1029 the removal of paired endings for characters other then Alear was bs…..I mean even pre-awakening FE games had paired endings, granted it was typically more restricted and a character would have only 1 single character they could be paired with
@@angell.rodriguezperez7427 It does, but I like to give any support I haven't heard before a chance. Doesn't mean I won't be skipping through the dialogue after I've read it faster than the actors have voiced their lines, though.
