What a wonderful video and it sounds like an amazing (but stressful) experience. Doing something like this really does stretch a person and their skills and it sounds like you really grew through the experience in a way you wouldnt have otherwise. Bravo! So interesting to hear what you’ve been up to and why we’ve seen you a bit less here on RU-vid. Congratulations on this venture, I can’t wait to hear more about it. I’ve ALWAYS found that you explain things so well, and you just have such a relaxed, fun presence in front of the camera that you are a pleasure to watch. I could see the purple fabric making a lovely bodycon/ business sort of dress… professional and sexy? And with the blue lace and blue Lycra you could sort of mix sporty with sweet? Like a bathing suit with a skort coverup or tennis dress kind of look… very fun and inspiring to watch. I’ve just moved continents and unfortunately all my stuff including my sewing machine is somewhere on the Atlantic . I’m itching to start again. 😂

Liberty lawn is wonderful for summer PJs if you're not sure about the colors for a garment. Thanks for sharing.

Lisa! Lisa! I am thrilled for you! What a tremendous accomplishment! I cannot imagine being under that kind of pressure to sew. Of course you rose to the occasion and with Esther’s help, did amazing. I can’t wait to hear about your teaching job. I’ll admit I haven’t been watching your knitting videos, so I’m not up to date with all you have going on. So happy for you!

How exciting for you. I wonder did you realize that you know more than you thought. Being an actress you are already familiar with the camera and speaking in front of it, I would absolutely freeze. I don’t do well speaking to a group. I was just thinking how far you’ve come since Toronto when you were still learning. Darn, I. Just so exited for you.

Well, that sounded like a great opportunity and I’m so glad that you grew from it. I have a sticker on my computer that reminds me to do the hard things and that is kind of transformational because it’s very easy to stay in a comfortable rat but once you step out of it, it’s amazing!
