The piano and electric guitar thing is cool but the real reason I truly love this video is because of the wonderful granddaughter and how she treats and accompanies her grandmother. Gold!
There are few things I love as much in this world as when "the old meets the new" in ways like this. Architecture, music, art etc, it's such a beautiful thing to see and makes me so happy every time I see it
For all who enjoy Bach's _Fugue,_ I humbly suggest you look up _Tocatta_ by Skyy, in 1980. It is forever ahead of its time. Bach would have _ADOPTED_ the members of Skyy had he heard them playing his song on modern instruments This young guitarist no doubt knows of their song, & has emulated their guitarist's example. Bravo! 🏆🏆
@@mhp9843 Dont leave out Texas' Eric Johnson, or Jeff Beck. And for variety, there's also England's Simon Park Theres plenty available on Eric Johnson. Simon Park is only known to a small handful in america. But look up "far afield," & "what alot Ive gavotte," & that will open up his body of work on youtube. Best of all, all of his titles are easily found on discogs
@@DaDonMega Are you kidding? I would do the same thing!!! To qualify that… I’ve been in garages as a visitor when some kid comes in with a problem. Guru that I am, I know a o lot, but not everything. I was helping this kid repair a truck, ran into something I never seen. Called another Guru. With some instruction, it got done. Kid and shop owner, impressed! Me and my friend, much appreciated! It wasn’t all me, but I did know someone who knew the trick!
Wow! A random dude with an amp strolls up at just the right time AND can play THAT song AND someone was there to catch all those cool camera shots! Amazing!
If it's a place where multiple buskers perform at the same time, it's plausible. (I mean, i don't believe it, but it *is* a possibility. 😸) I'm not a busker, but I've still seen wild things happen - my brother and i were watching his friend's band busk once, and they were at an intersection of a heavily used pedestrian walkway and a service road into the market where this whole thing was. Dude in a van comes down the service road, stops at the stop sign, unrolls his window, and starts playing his harmonica to the song the band was playing, and he was good! Weird things do happen. 😸
With that piece in a city centre it’s absolutely possible. I’ve seen buskers battling this out on accordion before. As for the cool camera angles, all the same camera just panning around the 4K of it all
It's blatantly obvious, but I'm glad not as many people fell for it as I was expecting. There's hope yet. I mean, I can appreciate music, but I can't appreciate the manipulation and deception in the content. This isn't the way to get big or grow. What a terrible foundation to build your brand on.
This is the most beautiful thing I've seen today. The healthy and loving grandmother-granddaughter relationship, awesome piano/guitar skills and humans united by music. Just ❤

Gave me chills!!! I've loved Bach ever since I was a small child! My sister gave me an organ Bach LP for Christmas when I was about 10 and this song was on it. I cranked up the stereo as loud as it would go! 😂
The only mistake on an otherwise perfect performance is that you let the granddaughter get away. She looked like an amazingly sweet and loving young woman being so kind to her grandmother. That was a keeper…
I had the pleasure of seeing Phantom of the Opera at The Concourse here in San Diego with my wife just after my second daughter was born we were 27, I know we were young. However being a musician since the age of five when that chandelier drops............ I literally started crying P.S. I forgot to mention that this is back in 1996 with a few of the original cast members
Oh my goodness- my favorite. It’s fun to play on a pipe organ but love this version. I love all versions of this Bach work. One Christmas I got a cheap CD at the grocery store and there was a great jazz version on it.
When i was 16 we had my party at a place called Organ Stop Pizza. I put in the Toccata and Fugue as my suggestion cause it's my favorite organ piece from Baroque music. It got selected and i think the organist enjoyed it cause they WORKED those keys and enjoyed it simce i dont think they get many if any of those kinds of requests. (They typically wpuld play disney/children songs and other contemporary movie pieces
There was a place like that in my area called Pizza & Pipes, the organ player took requests & was a one man band, had a few B days there, I really miss that place
It's amazing who many talented people are out there who are willing to join in and either play or sing. Thanks for sharing your videos and your fine piano playing. I'm always surprised how many songs musicians remember and can play at the drop of a hat.
