As talented as he is and could be, it also baffles me that a player that couldn’t get regular first team football in his own teams squad is disappointed and surprised he didn’t get the call up to the national team squad. Mate you need to secure your position and play regularly on a weekly basis before you even consider fighting for a place in the national team - or is that the real problem? England relying on players and talent that can’t even hold down regular team positions 🤷♂️
