I started watching moto-vlogs because that's what I enjoy. Unfortunately, most of the old vlogger content now is about anything but motorcycles. Even Shadtree's channel has changed a lot and seems to be mostly about the give aways.
I really enjoy itchy boots, off road motor vlogger from around the world. Her scenery content is awesome. Another one is Her Two Wheels she has been turning some miles this winter.
This was too funny. 😆Love the motovlogs even though they might not be the greatest content to do on motorcycles. Like you mentioned it's more the reviews and stuff that do best. I watch motovlogs for the people I like and am subbed to. No matter what the content they put out is. I enjoy to chill with y'all and appreciate the sharing of live and see how it's going over there.
I think there has got to be something extra than talking on a motorbike whilst filming now. One guy here in the UK has built a community around people sending in photos which he features and gives shoutouts to other small channels. another Guy combines Motorcycling with giving lessons on taking photographs. I tend to do travelogues about the Tourist areas where I live, but really all this means extra work, extra time researching and less time on a bike.
I moved from Port Tampa City to Murphy NC (MOUNTAINS) Just over a year ago... HATE IT... I'm Born n raised in Tampa... at least yall live on the "SAFE" Coast now
Personally I like watching destination rides. Show what’s in your riding area. Share your route so when we come to your state we can enjoy them. Also anytime you change parts or make upgrades regardless of you skill level show the install even if it’s a fail. People like to see real content.
I think your content is great. Your style is more relaxed and relatable. Your interactions with your wife and kids also push you being a normal guy. Honestly i wish you and Shadetree would accept more sponsorship videos. I dont care what you're trying to sell, if it helps the channel, i say do it. At the end of it all, I'll still be here watching 🤘🤠
I used to love making videos. I never cared what anyone ever thought about them. I’m trying to make my way back and start posting again. I’ve made some amazing friends from it and that’s all I ever wanted. Always love your videos. Hope to see you all soon!
Die hard fan here. Loved your sense of humor as it’s of the same era as mine. Love the banter between you and Uncle Bomama. Still want to come out and ride with you and have a cigar, but broke my leg recently and still healing. Old guys heal slow I guess. Any way, I still love the channel and your content.
This was one of the more enjoyable videos I’ve seen in a long time. I think the problem with a lot of RU-vidrs is they try to go cinematic and then they spoil everything a lot of motor bloggers were really interesting characters like the Bogan his first videos were hilarious now I think he’s more concerned with his photography. He was always kind of a doofus did really stupid things but what made the videos good was that he was not acting. I really enjoyed them. I’m still subscribed to him, but I don’t watch much anymore.
I just film what i want. Since we are still getting snow here, its been awhile since I've motovlogged. I do still loke doing them and i watch all kinds of motorcycle content, but i do find myself not watching the big channels as much
Lol just ride- hills, hollers or sand dollar riding, liver and onions add high lifes it all flows together. Most of us get it just ride roads presently in front of you. Thanks for sharing.
I 100% subscribed because of @shadetreesurgeon as well as several other channels. However, I stick around because I like your content. If it was the same as his, there would be no point in watching. You make whatever type of content makes you happy, otherwise why do it? If you're not for everyone, who cares as people like myself like what you do. Content creators need to find their niche and I for one am happy to follow your journey. Cheers from Ontario, Canada
Don't let those who are jealous of you getting something bug you. I look at it this way you are NOT getting Monetarily paid, but you still earn it is just in the form of being gifted in exchange for an opinion, as long as that opinion is honest, NO PROBLEM!!!
I subscribed a month or two ago. Why? Cuz I enjoy hanging with you on your rides/adventures, and you seem comfortable in your own skin. Keep being yourself, and always remember that you can't be everything to everyone. Semper Fi!!
I love motovlog content solo and grouo rides. Its fun to watch the scenic ride while hearing commentary. Then again if im ot bein a hooligan in my bike i lead a biring homelife so my opinion may be invalid😂 we do a few you tube random stuff here n there cause my son wanted me to try it and ideas arnt easy
Hey there I hadn't ever watched your channel before. I knew who you were from Shadetree's channel. I met you at the camp out and I gotta tell you, you struck me as one of the nicest squared away guys I met down there. Keep on truckin while I get used to the channel.
Saw an Ontario license plate when you were riding near the pier! Friggin Canadians down in Florida, eh? I used to be one of those Canadians before I moved out west. California just isn't the same as Florida!
Keep doing what you’re doing! You can’t make content for the masses, you have to film what you’re interested in. If you’re enthusiastic about it viewers will come!
....man...if you made a 20 min video of you doing nothing but buttering toast....i would watch it!...you do what you want...I'll be watching!...thanks for the videos...stay safe out there!!😎🤙👍🤙👍🇨🇦
hey man new here. But I enjoyed the video. It was funny and entertaining. Also the authentic personality was great. Alot of moto vlogs seem to be more scripted and lack some genuine personality. keep up the good work. great.
Dope vid man..i think the long trips from state to state still hit hard on bikes when they are documented with the pains and struggle. That Shadetree vid when he rode clean across America with the bike literally disintegrating under his ass was a classic movie. It was unreal. I think a vid with you and your wife crossing state lines would hit hard...but understandable that type content would have to come with sacrifice. I follow a couple who rides and the vids are utterly amazing and they should have way more views imo called Joy Machine...the way they shoot their travels its as if you are riding with them. Anyways im chilling watching your vid while eating these damn olives stuffed with hotpeppers/Beer... Shout out from west monroe la.
i don't know about anybody else but i had to look for your content. i am still subscribed and i did not have this video on my subscription tab i had to look on your page to find the video.
it’s a pleasure meeting you the other day. as far as subscribers go if i had the time i’d create 100 emails and 100 youtube accounts….BAM! you’ve got 100 new subscribers 😂
I prefer the motovlogs. For me, my motorcycle viewing really decreased when everyone was chasing the "full time RU-vidr" stuff and it seemed everyone kinda done the same thing. Wrecked bike rebuilds, motocamping, destinations, over dramatized scripted content, it all got boring to me. Just pointless rambling is where i'm still interested. Videos like this is what I miss about the old RU-vid.
I got my first electric bike maybe about 3 months ago I bought a aerial Rider grizzly dual motor dual battery top speed downhill maybe 40 miles per hour and on a flat area maybe 37 to 38 if I'm lucky and it cost me $3,099 I bought some extras I spent about $3,700 so I had to go with electric bicycle because the DMV took my license because my vision isn't up to par in United healthcare don't care about me they're there just for a paycheck and also I lost my wife of 26 years due to a doctor add St Mary's hospital denied her healthcare and basically let her die end the medical board of California does absolutely nothing so I don't care anymore just as long as I can go get my groceries on my electric bike I'll be fine Great video thank you and God bless
Shadetree army strong. Do you brother, I certainly am not going to judge you in you take a sponsor. I personally thought that ebike was pretty cool, albeit very expensive and probably not for me, but I still enjoyed the video. Keep up the work it takes time for a channel to grow. Just keep making good content and be consistent is what I always hear people say.
Maybe the reason is that there is less moto content on many channels. I’ve given up on several for that reason. Maybe more rides are the key, not less.
First off, I nearly peed myself laughing at your comments about the ADV guy dressed up like a crossing guard safety dude. More of that please, lol. You are plenty interesting, and so is Bo Momma, and it’s because y’all are real and fun and not some network created bullshit agenda slinging corporate whores trying to sell me some lies. Keep going and we’ll all keep watching. Thanks as always.
I find that alot of people tend to lose interest in watching every chanel that does what they do. I know many gun channels, that don't watch other gun channels.. same can go for bikes. You will have a couple you watch religiously, but as far as new content, we're all doing the same thing, and most of us agree on most things within our friend ven diagram of channels that would be placed in out feed..... its preaching to the choir at a point. I tend to constantly look for new channels and more content, but I am also a truck driver, and I listen to everyone's channel like you would books on tape for a long trip.... and this also helps everyone's watch hours, so its a win win for everyone... but most people are not driving 700mi per day, and that is the bigger audience.
Will personally on some TV shows and videos are just kind of not so interesting and way too many commercials and that's why I like RU-vid because I just have to wait 5 seconds and I hit that button to skip the nonsense
I hear motovlogging is dead all the time. Maybe so, I don't pay enough attention to peoples opinions on the matter. I will say that I enjoy motovlog content coming from creators I like. I go through cycles of watching a lot of content on YT though. Sometimes I will skip a few videos from a creator and then later go back and watch everything I skipped all at once. *shrug*
You are a fkn enigma to me, one minute im thinking "wow this guy is a total a@@hole" next minute im thinking "would be so fkn cool to hangout with this guy". If we were in Chicago, we would be bros lmao. another great vid keep it rocking brother
15:00 - Liver and onions - It's a warning, not an advertisement 🤣🤣🤣🤣 22:26 - This brings up a good topic to cover (talking head or motovlog) - I'm seeing what I guess you could call a trend of motorcycle channels making videos criticizing "bigger" channels doing sponsored videos and, in their view, pushing products. At the end of the day, RU-vid is free to watch. What a person does or doesn't do with their channel and content is their business. If you don't like what a channel is doing, you're welcome to unsubscribe or stop watching - you have a plethora of choices. lol
And, I get it, if you have to adapt to grow that’s fine we’ll still watch, unless you start doing Tesla reviews or eating beyond meat fake burgers or some sht, then I’ll have to laser off my bogator tats.
I agree that motovlog is dying again and channels are changing due to eventually you talk yourself out. As for someone giving you crap about free stuff who wouldn't take free stuff. The fact you make videos means you take it and make a video of it. They need to get over them selfs.
Hello Mike...buddy...just shut the hell up already...😂😂😂...hope you didn't get rained on... I agree with you about adding that rack to enhance your tail...those van guys are probably getting paid by the hour...it's clear that Mrs B likes the way her bike sounds...much love to you and your family
Seems to me that regardless of genre the way to get quick growth is a barely there g string bikini or in motorcycle content do cheap motorbikes like royal enfield
4:42 The solution to the "problem" is to make what you wanna make, damned to anyone else. You'll find your niche of loyal subscribers and that's fine. Shit, another OLD channel would be SmoaksVlogs, that man produces a video virtually every single day, (he took a short break from making videos when he had a stroke)... His video count is literally number in the thousands. (Todays video of his was 3057)
@@UncleBogatorYep, hes a motorcycle mechanic by trade, super cool old guy, has shit loads of bikes of all kinds, when the weather is shitty he does RC car stuff and mechanic tinkering. Also rides with his wife, just like you do. Just a nice chill channel with no regard of whats "popular" or whatever...
I just think its funny people feel like they need to watch every video from everyone they're subscribed to. Don't like this particular video? Go to the next. If I unsubbed from the person every time they posted a video I didnt like or care for... I'd have nothing to watch.
It’s not you it’s me…. lol I don’t like e scooter content. But it’s cool. I just choose to squint my eyes when it’s playing. I like your motorcycle content. Your content, your voice, your humor it’s good man. No worries. It’s all gravy. Motovloging is good I specifically like the dynamic between you and the wife unit and install vids. It’s all good. Just not e-videos, I feel it’s pushed down our throats 24/7 with the environment and shit. But you do you. I don’t hate brudda but, First off I can’t afford the e scooters. Second, no one has ever said “sweet scooter man” also there’s too many new ride reveal videos don’t do that. Edit: you could get more subs with more titties just saying. Lol
@@UncleBogator yeah me neither…boobs lol It’s all in a good fun, just a joke. I don’t care about the boobs and butts thumbnail clickbait either. Keep at it brudda!🤙🏽
I believe Harley is making out pretty good using you tubers for the first ride and reviews . And I believe they are all full of shit with the review. Of course there is no negative thoughts or the you tuber wouldn’t be able to do another
@@UncleBogator right ! And I don’t think you would kiss Harley’s but just to do one ! Don’t get me wrong I love and ride Harley just hate the ass kissing between both sides !
Mike If I got a free scooter, you know i would be promoting the crap out of it. Maybe, that company would send me another. I know RU-vid doesn't pay the bills. If I hear that mental health babble, how you need to talk to this mental health proffesional. I use it and so should you. I will unsubscribe.
Here's an idea. Don't alienate parts of your audience. My number one is a 96 Road King. My number two is an "Adventure bike". My number 3 is a 250 dual sport. I'm also a "Christian" that HATES "fish symbols" and Prius'. (Think 'South Park'. When I have to, I drive a big polluting pickup truck.) And speaking of "crossing guards", I have been and always will wear armor with ALL my bikes. Yeah, wait until you go down and you'll re-think some things. (And may that NEVER happen). Any 'rider' that doesn't like it can KISS IT! Don't get me started by how I'd love to smack some Harley riders with a worn out piston. 🤕 So shut the hell up and keep making interesting videos. 😉 THAT'S RIGHT! THIS Christian say things like this and if I'm ever in Florida, I'll be honored to buy you a beer. 😎 (And if you ever get to the Rocky Mountains, I'll buy the beer again, and I'll show you some roads that will make you 'wet your pants'! 😜)
