If that plastic for that is similar to doll material, It should shrink and harden up due to the acetone evaporating! In theory it could be customized, but it wouldn’t be the same size! I watch a lot of doll customizing channels dapfhsjdbs
okay but daphne's the real star of the show here 😩💕 also i don't know what demented thought led to this video but oh my _god_ the end result is so disgusting 😂😂 i'm almost curious to try it for myself...
You could rinse the head off with water and keep it on a little pike as like a dead Zombie head. Lore where a psycho pet keeps a wall of acetone-executed head trophies.
Hey HelloStudios!! Just so you know, acetone is used for shrinking plastic! If you soak it for 8 hours and then leave it out to dry for 24, then the plastic shrinks!! However, this is Uhm *Not really that- like, at all-*
When it’s fully dry after a day or whatever The head will actually shrink and it will probably be smaller than it originally was, I know that from when I used to love doll customizing videos
“Fun” fact: I put my only customizable horse base in nail polish remover (the thing was covered in paint) for 1+ hour(s) not knowing what would happen and the plastic became rubbery and then the head fell off and THEN the body SPLIT IN HALF because I didn’t account for the fact lps are plastic
hey, you know that if you take it out and leave it, it will eventually shrink the LPS I saw this doll customizer, Dollightfull do it But I think you take it's head off first and THEN leave it for 24 hrs instead of 48 hrs :)
you should look into acetone baths for doll customization! they actually use it to shrink heads (though not for this long) and they expand from the acetone entering the vinyl at first and then they shrink as they dry out bc the acetone dries out the vinyl as it evaporates
The spring falling out was vile lmao. It sort of reminds me of when you preserve a wet specimen for the first time and part of it falls apart because of the harsh preservatives
After this it should shrink and harden You should try this again but you leave it in there for 2 hours instead of 2 days And be gentle when you take it out If you do it right you should have yourself a tiny lps
i want to vomit looking at this disgusting result i feel a lump in my throat, i am literally absolutely disgusted right now. i never want to see someone do this again. thank you for going through with this horrible experiment so that we all know not to make the same mistake.
Thanks RU-vid reccomended and to you for making this video too! I was really curious about what would happen here considering the head shrunk on a LPS boardgame siamese cat that I customized with _spray paint_ and soaked him in acetone to try and loosen it (I don't know if that'd work or not to this day 😵 but don't fret the LPS isn't rare at all atleast where I am atleast, I've gotten like, two copies from thriftstore hauls since) and his HEAD SHRUNK! Like the shrinking head method for doll customs; looks like a fake LPS expands like a sponge from it as opposed to a regular LPS shrinking atleast at the head, I wonder why that is? I guess maybe it's because this collie was left overnight and for a bit of day, and I left my siamese in for I think half the day or less out of impatience; that and fakes have no vinyl, they're all plastic I think because maybe it's cheaper? This was super interesting to see!

I did this with an old custom I needed to re-do I didn't leave it in for too long, just long enough to make the sealer and paint soft enough to scrape off easily. It did make the plastic super squishy and it ate the glue for the peg and part of the peg as well, but I needed to replace it anyway, so it worked out fine.
