OLD FARM TRUCKS - - Years ago, I was a long-haul truck driver and crossed the country hundreds of times. Often, I would notice many old farm trucks - sitting in abandoned or run-down farms in the mid-west. I always had this fantasy about buying and restoring them....old bodies and decorations - but with new and modern running gear and electronics. Of course, I did not have any place to store them or work on them.....so it was just a dream. Now, seeing the way you have saved some of them ( or at least parts of them )..... makes me realize that my vision was not too crazy after all. Glad to see this old stuff being re-purposed and not just being crushed and sold for scrap.

That's got to be a great feeling to see so much old material being repurposed in a constructive manner. The ability to "flip" the trucks in a day is likewise, satisfying. I get a little bummed by not seeing the whole truck saved, yet the cab's are where the styling is found. While each of your video's teaches me something new, I can say this one was especially fun to watch. There's a vicarious thrill in watching the salvation of old vehicles.

WOW! Great job at selling so many truck related things. That's quite a bit for one day. It's a shame that, like you said, more people don't want to buy and sell more of these cool old trucks. It takes a lot of work to do it, but it has to be worth it. I tell you what, if I were in a position to do that, I'd be jumping all over it. Yes sir, it was definitely a great day for you an the one that bought all the cabs. Im the same way, save all that you can because someone will buy them sooner or later thats for sure. The main thing is that you have saved them for someone else to put them back on the road. That alone is just awesome as far as i am concerned. I wish more people.would do the same. Have a great week. That intake manifold next to the hooks is for a 283. There should be a casting date code on the manifold, also.

The 46 Ford cab is the same as the 41i built a rat rod with a few years back. Cab is rough and rusty but was saved from the crusher. Silas is doing the Lord’s work saving these old units and God bless his customer who flips these units

Should keep one good running truck and maybe a trailer, for you have to move rubbish rather use your pickup truck ( in a recent video, it was not really big enough )

👍👌👏 Oh WOW, simply fantastic! What a great video caused by a great day and fantastic selling. Congrats! I'm really relieved to see, that all those cabs will be used again instead of being crushed. Like you I don't understand why people living in the rust belt don't buy more nearly rust free cars/stuff from you. I mean not only oldtimer cars but also youngtimer and even newer stuff. A lot of relatively rust free cars get crushed. It always brakes me heart watching this. Maybe you can contact vehcor. He often buys even damaged but rust free vehicles (down to 1997 manufacturing date cars). Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. As a boomer I don't understand the rationale of doing a "patina" paint job, if you are spraying clear you can paint color and have a good looking truck.
