I think everyone should visit the motherland just to experience how diverse the culture truly is over here. I’m currently documenting my stay in Ghana as a young African American right now and I can say this experience has been mind blowing. If you can take a trip over here you won’t regret it.

Great attitude you have Marckell. I hear you, I wish we could stop all these wars between us and lift up each other to do great things on the motherland. I live in Canada and when I travel to Uganda and meet up with my colleagues, they are way ahead of me and settled with all kinds of investments going. All I do in Canada is to pay bills. I wish you well and I know there is more peace and happiness and great sunshine for the skin.

The beefing as you said young man is due to ignorance and having a narrow mind..most black African Americans has never traveled outside of their communities ..not even to the next township.. Poverty is usually the main culprit, self hatred not wanting to open minded to other cultures..knowing that if you are Caribbean, African, Brazilian..Haitian etc as long as you have black pigments we are all black people so if we could only stop the division of where we all come from..on the way we speak and know we are all the black race and we all wish for better lives and we can achieve if we work together...honestly sometimes we are our own enemies..can we understand how powerful we could be if we worked together??
We derive from that common Gene-Pool....The geography of our genesis is that beautiful tropical land we call africa ..Self abandonedment is perpetual blindness...let's strive to preserve and protect the gene =pool..it's a law of collective self preservation..

This young man is very brave but it was not wise coming without sufficient income. Young people need to get viable skills before moving to the motherland. However, I pray that he thrives and achieves all his goals.
When you believe in God you do what he tells you to do whether that be “wise” to our human standards or not. Also to clarify I had enough to sustain myself for the time I initially planned on being here trust me I am just fine and very grateful. Amen 🙏🏾
Too bad you're not asking for a contribution to stay in Garner because if it was me ..... a young man w/no wife & no kids I would figure out a way to keep my butt in Ghana for a while to establish more contacts, and good influential connections before I leave that way if you decide to come back to where you really belong then you will have some connections to reach out to.... Hi! I actually have ADHD and it’s a little harder for me to focus so sometimes it looks like a nervous tick but it’s something that helps me stay on track. This was also my first interview :)
@$Marckell3 - next time, try looking for specialist travel agents who special in African Travel/flights, they know the market and they tend to be far cheaper than going to any travel agent who specialise in European travel/flights etc, good luck to you youngman.
