THIS IS NOT A SPONSORED VIDEO Legally if something is sponsored I have to state it. Stockx once flew me out to Stockx day but I didn’t make a video for them nor did they pay me or have they ever paid me for anything. In fact they once banned me for exploiting a watch discount code back in 2017. The purpose of this video was to see if they would catch the fake pair and they did. Yes sometimes fakes pass through their verification process however 99.7% of the time (official statistic from their website) the system works perfectly. If you are unable to believe a company can grow to a multi million dollar origination without delivering on their promises I don't know what to say
It's not that it's the consumer service. I only ordered one pair and things went fine but I have heard of nightmares when people receive fakes and when things went south so since then I haven't messed with them. If they were like goat and they had excellent customer service they would be top but right now great product horrible service.
I sold offwhitw aj5s they told me they are fake but they were brand new from nike sent them again and we got them sold for 666€ so I guess thanks satan
No reps of Travis 1s are 1:1. Literally all you need is a blacklight and you can tell right away if it’s real or fake. Which I’m sure is what Stockx and GOAT use.
@@Michael-ub4vl its not based off of time, if it was 10 minutes plus he would've gotten way more than $5,000+, its just the revenue of the ads that already here, i suggest watching some e-com videos about stuff like this, its really valuable knowledgable :)
The long wait is accurate as hell. If you buy something on Stock X, expect the expected 2 week wait to be a month, and worst case scenario is 2 months.
Prince Nyaga they prolly legit check them, but they check the most obvious things.... dont think they go in to the smallest details. But i guess they do crazy inspections on expensive shoes
I was going to do this same thing, but would have felt bad if someone who paid for the shoe got a fake so never moved forward doing the bid trick just in case
Props to Stockx because one pair they caught and I had to wait for them to get another pair. They didn’t say if they were fake or bad quality, but props to them they didn’t just send me a bad pair.
I bought a pair of Jordan 4’s from foot locker and sold them on StockX. I even taped the receipt to the box. StockX claimed they were fake, sent them back and charged me a fee.
Literally most other reps are far closer tho since nobody really actually cares about this shoe in the rep community like, its so unimportant that actual legit checkers dont even know where to get the best pair of fakes for these, and i have actually seen better reps of these by just browsing through
You know he would have to tell us if it’s a sponsorship but he should of did something more common because those would be easy to see if there were fake.
@@lilns.6214 yeah that actually worked with fakes but not legit ones, but thats mostly due to the inconsistencies the actual legit shoe has since they released 3 different times each with differemt defects
Thank you at least the damm coat has the tech and craftmenship to be worth money. Some damm sneakers that are not real leather... plastic and rubber just like the replicas same shit
Do a video on inside real vs fake sneakers! But like get really really good fakes.. the ones he got in this video were good, but when you get into the $140-$200 range, you should get some that are completely identical.... on the outside ;)
@@VolcardoReviewer it means what I said lol idc what factory it comes from most of the people that make these “fakes” have worked at the actual factory where these shoes are made. The workers are working for pennies who cares if they slide a few “fakes” in to make them some money 🤷🏽♂️
I remember I thought I was so cool with my fake pair of beats pro back in high school. Funny thing is I had everyone fooled to even the rich kid with an authentic pair. No ones going to give a crap if they’re real or not.
@@ashyknuckles1161 most of the people? Who told you that? Most of them likely have been working in the replica factories since they started. I wouldn't believe anything those Chinese guys say, they lie all the time. By the way I never met one honest Chinese seller yet and have dealt with a gang of them.
Nike life it’s just preference. A lot of hypebeast just love the idea of the item being limited and being able to buy them gives them their own sense of joy. And I definitely know what your talking about, some just buy expensive shoes and items and act like they’re rich. But to some doing business with these types of shoes is what puts money on their table at the end of the day. Just don’t judge to quickly when you see someone wear some expensive/ contemporary article of clothing
that’s not really that good of a comparison. it could be vice versa, “crazy how car people could be having a good outfit instead of driving a $80,000 car they drive from home to school from”. either way in the end it all is based on what an individual likes. if someone wants to buy expensive cars, that’s them. if someone wants to buy expensive shoes, that’s them. there’s no saying one thing is dumb when this is a passion/business for most people.
Not necessarily true, I have a lot of “hype” pairs that I all got for retail, and I have my own crib and whip, but I don’t drive purely because where I live it’s expensive to drive and commute to my job, and taking a bus or anything else ends up being cheaper and at times more efficient
When I see a shoe so hyped up, I don't even think about grabbing a pair, even at retail... And because there are so many people rocking the fakes, it's hard to flex in the authentic pair because everyone's gonna think they're fake... lol...
I rarely comment on videos but i must congratulate you. You make very good content like a big screen professional. You definitely deserve a huge thumbs up and more subscribers. Got a new sub bro! Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
Welcome to 2020 where people will spend more money on fake shoes for CLOUT than they actually spend buying a real car. LOL. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤣 At the end of the day this kid still made $1,000's of dollars just off of youtube revenue alone. Video has over a million views. Somewhere around $7,000 - $2,000 = $5K PROFIT
i think stockx used to really check things good, but then it got super popular and they realized sellers thinking they would be caught, usually didnt try to sell fakes. so now they are checking loosely and relying on the fact that scammers believe it wouldnt be worth their time to try selling on there
Bought a pair of slides off of StockX that they themselves were manufacturing or whatnot, and when I tried to resell on their app they told me it had factory defects and were not fit for resale. BRUH how can you sell an item that you know isn't fit for resale?
I love stock X, back when the Yeezy beluga 2.0s where released i bought a pair and somehow they accidentally sent me 2 pairs, neither where in my size. But i didn't complain tho lol.
Try it again with a less limited shoe to see if a price range effects the way authenticate, like I’d hyped shoes are prioritized compared to a GR jordan
A lot of retail sneakers have factory defects I just got a pair of off whites from SNKRS app and they look worn and stitching is badly off and toe area is dented
That's the only point I would disagree with in this video. The stitching, paint job, and leather is sometimes complete shit on various expensive Nike shoes.
@@745morning in the US it's not as strict as in UK. It's not being enforced. Do u know many bloggers who got in trouble for not disclosing? Do u see many vids where it says "includes paid promotion" in the beginning? They should put it there but they don't
Last year I ordered on stockx a pair of jordan 1 high travis scott, when i got them the one with the stockx chip is legit the other one is fufu, i fckn paid $700 extra for customfee shipping. Never gonna order again on stockx 🤦🏽♂️
@@Jasonchaidezz He said his car (and all repairs done to the car) cost less than those shoes. So he spent less than $2,025 his car, so it probably is not the best car in the world.
@@21santana47 aaaannnddd your point is? It's a luxury brand, idiot. You can get the same type of jacket for a fraction of the price, you know that right? They also have parkas more expensive thab the shoe
The back tells that the sneaker is fake tongue is pops out, must go godkiller with this sneaker. Y'all don't know how to sell counterfeits on stockx.. if you wanna lern check reddit!
The swoosh on the right shoe just isn’t it at first glance. It’s all wavy at the back near the heel tab. Would send those eight back to seller at one glance. 2:19 WHAT IS THAT TOEBOX SHAPE
I actually liked the video because the guy did an experiment to show what happened on entry to stockx, there are other people who don't know about it and would be skeptical about purchasing there.
PREEEEACH BRO I SWEAR IVE NEVER EVER WANTED A PAIR OF AF1s besides the ALL WHITE LOWS BUT THESE BLUE ONES ITS SOMETHING ABOUT THEM THATS ANGELIC AND YES I WILL PAY AS MUCH AS I CAN AFFORD FOR THEM ONCE I HAVE IT TO SPEND
ripper_ dips23 yea, they said if I’m convinced they’re fake I can just resell them on StockX, and since I didn’t take the tag off yet or wear them they really have no choice to let them go through, but that’s shitty for the other guy.
Great vid! youtubers keep doing this with GOAT, StockX and perhaps Ebay and make it well known!! So that when they know people are posting vids like this they'll definitely be on their A game and not want to be put on blast ...haha
@@chiefqueef8679 @Jorge Madrid They charge 12% for sales, but in this case since they had to deny the purchaser, they charge an extra 15% and keep the shoe in some cases.
Thumbs up to stock x for not passing it . I have never bought from stock x because I’m scared to get a fake. But watching videos like this helps restore some faith. Going to watch more to see if I become a buyer. I hate fakes and I want nothing to do with them ? 🙂
people need to realize that millions of sneakers are authenticated at stockx everyday. Of course 1000-3000 are gonna pass. I'm not justifying fakes, but they've gotten to the point that they're almost identical and impossible to tell apart from real. Also the authenticators are humans, of course they're gonna make mistakes.
But fools be lovin all the fake things on these females and got nerves to be actin like a shoe genious about these wack ass shoes Real or fake.....they realler than half these fools girls eyelashes body hair gender nails attitudes honesty and etc....these fruity type men need to get it together asap
