From anotherZZR600 owner I gotta say these small bikes are fun as hell. It is unfortunate you had such a miserable experience with your zzr though. I suspect mine was well maintained, I've started after it's sat for almost a month and hit the canyons. I really like my zzr600 and at 5'7" the ergonomics probably work pretty well for me, but I still want a small bike for when I'm feeling like a lazy beach cruise or quick little run on a nearby canyon. Something about the 600 is just more mentally exhausting after a while, especially if I'm already tired that day.
the zzr just wasn't the right bike for me, i'm having a blast on the smaller displacement bikes and my ebike. miss the speed and power sometimes but i wasnt much of high speed junkie
I can relate to this video so much, have a ZXR with same problems and a lot of maintenance, I also have A CB300F perfect commuter bike and piss easy to work on and inexpensive and of course its not going to win any speed races but man it's so hassle free and nimble
Yo me and you both have the same reasons why we love the cb and the 125s! After years later of a serious accident on a carb suzuki 600 gsxr sport bike i wanted to ride again but at comfort and control. I agree with with all your reasons for buying a chill bike. I bought a grom and cb300f last year, i wouldnt change it for anytbing. Plus you dont get harassed by cops either.
@@CitizenCycle925 I just picked up a 2018 CB300F with 500 miles for my first bike yesterday. So far I love it, comfortable, and I think is a great starter bike for anyone!
Thanks for the new content! I was just wondering, is the Cb300f large enough to comfortably fit a taller rider, ergonomically? I’m 6ft.-2in. with 34 in. inseam at 220lbs. I can pick one up from my local dealer brand new leftover 2018 for $3,000, but I can’t go sit on one right now without an appointment because of the pandemic. Thanks!
I'm 6'1" and although I can tell the seat height is low(30in), I have no issues with comfort. Given your size you are going to feel big on it. The 33in seat height on my veresys650 feels nicer.
