Overland Uncharted Katie wanted the Denali, but that thing was too huge! Looked very comfortable inside though. I like the idea of trailers though. Very convenient and secure

Edward Shin We love our Crux trailer. It has made it so easy to get outside. Most of our gear is in the trailer so we just load up food and clothes and we are off.

matt s no lifts or leveling at this time. I try to add things out of necessity for the most part. When I notice I’m lacking in something on a trip, I’ll usually add it to a list and add it later. Haven’t been on a trip where I’ve needed lifts yet 👍

Edward Shin Yeah me neither. I truck camp with my wife and kids where I live in Florida and I’m in a 2017 tundra crewmax 4x4. I did a tire upgrade to 285/65/18 bfg ko2’s and that’s about it. It gets me everywhere I need to go. If you’re ever interested in coming to Florida I can show you around the Ocala national forest. May make for a cool video!!! Take care man

@@FloridaNative83 I'm up in the Panhandle. Just got back into a Tundra again ('19 CM TRD Sport). Working on building an overland rig as well. Mine is similar to Edwards in many ways so far. Anyway, I've thought about bringing it down to the Ocala National Forest. Any tips?!

Matthew Husted Yeah I would recommend Hopkins prairie camp ground or camping out in big scrub. Those are areas you can get to without pin-striping your truck or doing any damage. Message me back if you need any help.

@@FloridaNative83 Thanks for the tips! Turns out, I got my first pin-striping and wheel scuff this past weekend up here on Eglin AFB Range lol! If you're ever up in this neck of the woods, give me a shout! It's certainly not the offroad experience, but still plenty of good camping and fishing. Permits are $20/year per person over the age of 16. Also, I'm on OverlandBound.com as HazMatt79 if you're on there.

@@KrokemOutdoors I have a new 2021 Tundra 4x4 TRD Sport that I am building for overloading but I am thinking about staying with my stock Bilstein setup for now. Is the 275x70x18 the max I can go without any trimming? I am replacing the current 20 inch wheels with 18x9 fuel vectors at a +20 offset. It looks like you were running the stock wheels and offset. Did that work well for you off road and still do well for city driving. This will be my commuter as well. Do you think that same tire size would work with my +20 offset? I know you have since upgraded to a better suspension and bigger tires. I may upgrade later but with all the other expenses I am thinking it my be wise to just invest on the biggest tire I can go on stock suspension. Any advise or thoughts would be very helpful. BTW, I love you videos! Thanks

The Free Raven yeah when I saw how easy it was for Jason (primal outdoors) load Daisy and Wheeler into his trailer, I can see why it would be a better option. Luckily for Katie and I, Bernie is a tiny fella. And the rtt works for us since we don’t have room for a trailer where we live. I like the versatility and ease of use of an offroad trailer though 🍻
