YourCarBro I remember when you got that thing when you blew up the R32, and I thought that was one of the sickest jdm van ever, and for what a couple hundred bucks?! Hell yes
Carbro, by now the Neon SRT is a modern classic and clean versions that aren’t roached out are getting fewer and farther between, people didn’t even take care of the 323 GTXs, Omni GL-H, and Conquest TSi among other cool stuff we did manage to homologate or get . Great content keep it up brotha!!🏁🤙🏼
Glad the delica is gone to push the business forward but as a fan man I got a sweet spot for the SRT so definitely keep us updated. Love the content 👊🥇
Congrads man! Go for another Delica! the others you have mentioned are going to flood The U.S. and it will be harder to sell. The most eyes were on the Delica! Now you need to get business cards to hand out when you buy another Delica for the people talking to you about it.
At the start buy what you can turn over quickly before cars that interest you. If you're set on a Delica, try a PD8W shape. When Canada started importing the PD8W shape, the Japanese auction prices rose considerably as there was a lot more interest this look than the previous shape (your one).
Congrats on the sale! Don’t think of the people asking you about it on your way as delaying your trip ... each interaction is a potential new customer. So it’s all marketing! Good luck with your other cars!
i commented this on the video of you buying the neon, but in case you missed it: since you have a couple other cars now, you should follow my boys footsteps and just throw a high psi gt35r or similar turbo on that basically otherwise stock srt4. he ran an 11.2 1/4 mile time and the car lasted until 23k miles (had under 5k miles when he swapped turbos) before blowing up. its guaranteed to blow up but in the mean time it will hang neck and neck with 600cc bikes lol
do it and then set up money runs with cars you know cant hang but think to themselves "theres no way this neon is beating me" and take their money. you can even be honest and tell them the engine is 100% stock
So happy for you, Spencer! I know you love that Delica, but that is a step in the right direction for your business. Congrats, bro! Looks like you sold it to the right guy and I hope he and his family enjoy it. The only regret in this episode is that fact that we didn't get to see that 3 Stooges moment with the water spigot.😅😂 Bad timing, but it had to be funny as hell. Have a great night, brother!
Hey Spencer have you come across any Toyota Caldina GTTs when you where in JAPAN? Keep an eye out for a face lift manual...They are 4wd turbo station wagons. Very cool Toyota's
I could have sworn I seen this thing the other day maybe a week or two ago. It was in a little town called Howey-in-the-Hills Florida yes yes it's a town believe it or not.
Clean GTIR pulsars are silly money now, extremely rare even in Japan, more chance of seeing one here in the UK. They are £20000 plus here now for clean ones, which is around $25000 U.S. if you can find one actually for sale. They also have weak drive shafts and gearboxes which can't cope with bigger wheels or more bhp.
I've been seeing a few delicas down here in Florida lately. Counted 4 of them here in fort Myers so far. I wonder if the new owner is from my area. I get same reaction down here with my hiace diesel.
Id hate to see what kind of GTR's they are selling in USA.. the quality of them must be so bad from "those" importers... not many good condition ones coming out of auctions anymore
Hrm. How much is a Pulsar GTiR running over there, these days, for other ideas? (I keep thinking one of those would really kick in my particular town. ) I suppose the problem with Cappucinos is...how many of these kids can even fit in them these days. :) (Roadsters aren't really my thing in general, so I dunno how they'd go over otherwise..) . A cool Stagea maybe? Some R30 or 31? Maybe that's my weirder tastes but the drift tax might not be so big on some of that. :) If I had you looking for me, I'd be like, 'Ok, keep an eye out for older Toyotas and stuff,' :) And congrats to new Delica owner, that thing's cool. :)
