maybe Bob sacrificed himself to mischievous light so that we, the player, could always just get reborn/respawned? it's quite a stretch, but when you really think about it it kinda makes sense.
If anyone sees this I have something to add to this theory. If the red light controls modifiers then maybe they activated that one modifier that makes snares lethal to kill Bob. After all El Goblino states that Bob went quiet after he stepped on a snare. Not after Rush went by.
Quite the theory but as we all know that in the doors world its like modifiers don't exist and its just a feature added to doors, even though modifiers have alot of Lore in The Doors World
@@brockyguy What do you mean as we all know? How in the world do you know that? The modifiers uses the red light's symbol so there is no reason to assume that, that is the case, over my theory is the case.
I believe that bob is an entity as somehow he made his way to floor 2, it not in Jeff’s character to help out without a reward, and el goblino is to weak to drag bob all the way to door 152 (he also believes that bob is still alive so why would he drag him anyway)
@@wafflecubewithsyrupI instantly knew what it would do but I wanted to know if it would fully kill me so uh I also wasn’t definitely at like 174 or something and decided to try it
Why's everyone keeps forgeting that there's something called *UNDEAD* and Bob's full name (confirmed by Red) is Skellyfriend. Which includes word "skelly" in it. Also the game calls it "Bob The Skeleton" or "Skeleton Bob" Also El Goblino says few times how Bob went silent once, or how he warned him just now about Rush/Ambush, or even gets scared why he doesn't talk to him. BOB IS NOT DEAD, He always was a skeleton or died and became one, but either way he pretends being dead in our presence.
The reason bob went silent once because, yknow, hes DEAD. He isnt pretending to be dead in our presence because El Goblino says he went silent after he stepped on a snare in the greenhouse.
@@Jesty.r but then he says "he warned him about Rush" or then says about different time Bob "confronted entity" He's not dead And also the name "Skellyfriend"
I can add a LOT to this. If anyone knows about rooms, it’s basically just an office that spans forever, over to being 2,000+ rooms, but the real amount of rooms is unknown. Doors is a sequel, or continuation of rooms, which is why they both have a similar nature. See, if you played rooms, or have seen footage, you’ve probably seen someone reference the name Bob, and not the doors one, but it’s a name tag sitting on a desk in one of the rooms. Before rooms, there was a game called “Bob is missing” which featured a Purple key card, and if you complete the game, or were to pick the card up, you spawn hellish monsters. (Likely A-60 and A-200/A-120) The same purple key card is found at bobs desks. But within the chair, no one is sitting there. Now when we get to doors, we can see his corpse, or his skeleton, rotting away. If it was true that a snare or rush had killed him, it would’ve meant, he came to the hotel after someone found him, and that Bob might’ve wanted to explore, or find a safe place from all the other rooms monsters. Before his inevitable death. This is just a theory, or pure speculation. This likely won’t get pinned or even looked at, but I’ll still keep it here.
have youn seen the game theory doors theories? they make some really really good points. i think their most compelling theory is the one about bob in the 2nd episode of doors theories

i don't know if this means anything, but in the rooms, some rooms are offices containing computer desks with nametags on them and they all seem to be randomized generic names, but one of them is bob. bob also sits in a chair and his right arm looks like he has his hand on his desk using a computer mouse
Actually, there is one more piece of evidence, that evidence belongs to ROOMS Whenever you get to the staircase room, go down and see the name tag, if it says Bob, you got the correct workplace, which means, Bob was a worker in the rooms, and when A-60, A-90 and A-120 came, Bob evacuated to the nearest exit at Room 200 which lead to the hotel and then he encountered El Goblino

I feel like maybe Bob had a job in the rooms because theres a chance you come across a cubicle with his name on a card. He was then tasked by his boss to explore the Hotel. It was in it's hotel+ form so it had the green house. He then died before guiding light learned to revive players. Guiding learned to do this shortly after and got rid of the greenhouse and other hotel+ things. Doors then released to public. Hotel+ came around because red light was angry at guiding light for making it easier. Then we find bob and el goblino. Maybe you could expand on this? Idk. I dont really have any evidence though.
I have a theory that Bob dod revive, we know that we gain new but identocal bodies due to some deaths having custom dead looks (Seek and Gloombats) and we come back, so it isnt too far-fetched that bob has died in each floor, it may be possible we see a living Bob in door 252, or even in an ending cutscene, and we will be able to tell it os Bob because the revived version would have a name tag
What makes it even more sad is that I honestly think that El Goblino knows Bob is dead, Bob was probably one of his closest friends and he uses it as a coping mechanism since he just cant accept one of his friends dying. It's like he uses it to make himself feel better, it would actually be messed up if that was the case.
Maybe the three architects or someone else… killed bob to make skeleton keys so others could access the herb or viridis or rooms… only time will tell ✨…………………………………………………………………………………….
People probably won’t see this, but I’m pretty sure bob died to a firedamp leak. During one of el goblino’s messages, he tells you to not use a lighter in those rooms and that bob “learnt the hard way” So did bob explode in a firedamp?
My theory is that when Bob died he is still here but he just to the second floor but his corpse remains we could see it but he cannot and he also died in the mines and further progressed because how could el goblins carry bob to the mines comparing his size
I have a theory on how Bob could have died, as we know figure is made out of bones and flesh, and maybe figure first was just bones, so it went through the rooms until room 50, when he finally had enough and maybe bob was one of his last victims but el goblino managed to take back his skeleton at least even in great danger, and that would also prove elusive goblino and bob being best friends. And maybe el goblino always says it so positive is because he tricked his mind into thinking bob naturally died, because he doesn’t like the memory himself or the adventures that he made, and this would make el goblino have a very sad backstory.
el goblino also said something like "That smiley düd came in and broke all the lights and I had to fix them. Bob got into a bad fight with him too" I think
El Goblino says that Bob stepped on the pancake that eats you back (aka snare) and that snare must have been a lethal one cuz El Goblino says he hasn't heard a peep from him since (aka he died)
Bob could actuallt be either curious light or the evil light since goblinos dialouge dosent mention the color of the light they saw just that it was not blue
What if Bob was a normal guy from the castle in floor 2 ending and he got out and found the entrance to the mines, he took the elevator up , locked figure in the elevator room and he died but el goblino found him.
Bro doesnt know about the game “bob is missing” by nicorocks, the same person who made the original rooms, which is what inspired doors, and then doors creators added the rooms to their game
every time we die in doors we leave our bodies behind (as seen in multiplayer) my theory is that Bob is US. After we died there would obviously be a skeleton because we leave a body. BOB. IS. US
