I Solved the Fortnite Storyline (CHAPTER 5) 

There’s a big theory that Midas is actually Different in this world, instead of ruling over the gold, he rules over the diamonds… and he might even be mixed with geno fr fr, we have to see

This storyline seems much more grounded than the one Donald Mustard was creating. Instead of different realities and time travel, this story is very much centred on the island and the island alone. A good old revenge plot that could very well lead into other things down the road.

one thing to add is in some story’s midas’ full name is midas montague also montague is pronounced Mon·​ta·​gue derived from french for pointed hill it was also used in romeo and juliet for one of the families so montague could have some significance here as midas or a relative to midas due to his similar abilities

I think this makes sense, I mean Midas' goal was to escape the loop. It's possible that Midas has stolen Peely to get answers out of Jonesy.

Really excited to see how the storyline unfolds. Glad we’re starting off with something new and more grounded after all the shenanigans from the last few seasons. A society that captured peely seems to be a good new start. Especially if Midas is involved. Also aye you got a sub, lookin forward to future content👍🏼

I really do like them trying this taken style of a story, my only 2 complaints is with the riviera/mediterranean theme of the map, should have been limited to just the society controlled areas; and second, all of the plot points set up in late chapter 3 and early chapter 4 that never really got paid through so they are just sitting in the water waiting to be used or shot down. I am still very happy to see what Charle can cook up, so we can only wait and see

I think that this universe is a parallel of chapter 2 but things are slightly different because of what happened last season. I think Montague is an alternate to midas and instead of running ghost and shadow, he runs the society. I also think that Valeria planned the kidnapping of Peely as a way to extract information out of Jones. In one of the loading screen, we can see Valeria studying the zero point and Jones exiting it and that is why we see Jones fighting with Valeria. Theres also a castle on the edge of the map containing items from chapter 4, thats where i believe Jones used to live in before he joined the underground.

the yacht is the same yacht from chapter 2 but retextured, each skin has a dark (shadow?) and light (ghost?) style (not counting jones and hope) several gold accents and details in the skins, buildings and the train, Montague could be a front for Midas, someone working as the "leader" for the public while Midas does stuff in the background, and peely might just be a way for the society to jones attention so they can capture him because jones is wanted

I do believe that Bunker Jonesy consuming Peely did allow him to see the future. This is because harvesting souls, according to the Fortnite lore, enables one to see the future. This is why the Last Reality always seemed to be one step ahead, it's why the Imagined Order placed reboot vans around the map (Geno wanted to get a step ahead of the Last Reality using this tactic), it's why Midas returned in his shadow form in Fortnitemares 2021, it's why the Nothing allowed the Cube Queen to die to water, and finally and most importantly, it's why time travel was the "Last Resort" for Dr. Slone and Agent Jones at the end of Chapter 4. It's because the Nothing knows what will hapoen and altering the past will significantly change this, and it did. The Big Bang signifcantly weakened the Nothing and his forces. However, with Jones having convinced the Seven and the IO to unite in the altered Chapter 1 timeline, and with the Seven still having to give up control of the Bridge, a power vacuum remains, one that is now filled by the Society, which is what I would call an altered timeline version of Midas' Agency.

I've also spotted that the name of the yacht is now the 'Marigold' (as written on the back of the boat) which is the name of the female midas skin from a bundle. I think this either means that midas has named the boat after marigold or that marigold is the on who is tied to the story and is the true leader of the society. Keep up the amazing videos PBJ!

Society vs the underground is the name of this season, perchance the war continues into the next chapter, the spy asteyic does mirror the shadow vs ghost war a bit, so possibly it may hapoen, there is also the fact times gone back so he aint dead yet

I was looking around the new map and saw a little island in the top right so I decided to land there. There’s a portrait of the agency, a corkboard with a bunch of pictures of Skye, meowscles yarn balls, and other objects from the past. Could this potentially mean something for the storyline? And the Midas yacht, of course

When you mentioned the symbol being an eyeball surrounded by golden hands, it reminded me of an old Midas symbol that was a golden eye. It might be one more nail in the coffin, but I cant remember what the eye was for or if it even existed.

This chapters map also has some similarities to the chapter 2 map. There is also l a lot of nods to chapter 2 season 2 specifically with TNTinas helmet, meowscles yarn, Skyes board with photos, Brutus’ mask, and Midas’ yacht.

people are saying the original storyline is over but im not convinced why would they just leave it off with so many unanswered questions plus on slones last line she said to jonsey goodbye for now so i dont think its over yet

basically my guess atm we are like inside the zero point, as this island has no zero point, going through the different realities and dimensions etc, this one has a version of the whole agency vs icr the other faction from C2C2, just this time its the society vs underground being led by a version of jones, the montague guy like midas has mineral based powers where he can turn diamond instead of gold. I have absolutely no clue whats going to happen in the future of the story, thats just my interpretation of connecting that god awful event to now.

The zero point is confirmed to still exist now! In the burning ambition valieria loading screen we see her studying the island with screens in the background showing jones standing in front of the zero point, and the zero point itself in the top right

My question is that Peely worked for Midas in C2 S2, so why would Midas turn on him.

My theory is that Jonesy figured something out about Midas' plan(something evil idk) so The Society kidnapped Peely to blackmail Jones into not doing anything about it. As for Montague supposedly leading the society, he could just be posing as the leader to cover up Midas

There’s actually a house on an island north of lavish lair that hints at the future story. The house contains tons of random stuff from random places. But also, this house contains a picture of our infamous chapter 4 antagonist, Kado Thorne, on the wall. Kado might be coming back.

Montague is midas, brother. That's why they are so similar (cuts on his eye, turns all diamond instead of gold, has cat/human henchmen, uses extravagant settings.) ALSO he started an organization identical to midas's organization. I think Montague is trying to bring midas back, and he knows that Jones knows about midas (because Jones is doing deep research on midas), so he took peely for midas. 👀👀👀👀 just a thought

I was going to say that you were onto something. For some reason i was like, "If Midas is back... That explains the golden Society medallions as well as Peters golden suit." But who knows, i swore i remember Donald Mustard saying Midas wasn't really dead and could make a return.

Probably the IO recreation. They had files on midas as well. They also have beef with Jones and ever since season OG or chapter 1 they learned how real jonsey and peely are friends. Potentially being a threat to Jones as a strike of revenge. I predict Midas being invloved but also being blackmailed by Jonsey. Midas could be back because I still think the timeline is glitchy and Midas could be back due to that. I also think Midas is getting blackmailed as he has some sort of realtion to peely. Also why kill peely?

Another chapter 2 would be crazy! It all just points towards an alternate chapter 2. The diamond guy could be like Fortnite OG where its a combo of skins. Midas mixed with some diamond guy?

for chapter 4 it took about a month for storyline npcs to come into the game so most likely after winterfest in january we will get some lore

Montague is like a snapshot of Midas or a different universe Midas, Montague is a guy in a suit and is related to diamonds, Midas is a guy in a suit related to gold!

did you know that in chapter 5 season 1, the main subject for the chapter will be fatal fields. you may be wondering? why fatal fields? why not any where else? well this is because that in the trailer we can see that peely's bana nana sticker has been found on the floor with the magazine cut out letters saying "we have your banana", you might be asking yourself right now what does this have to do with fatal fields?, this has to do with fatal fields as peely was grown by accident when a chemical spill of intense fertilizer was spilled all over his try before he was alive, then once he ran away, the farmers realized that they could take peely as a randsom from his new owners. causing huge distractions just to get their hand on peely, such as redirecting a whole meteor to hit their home town, to bringing the famous singers, eminem and the kid laroi, once eminem came to town, the farmers took matters into their own hands, showing the owners whose boss of this land. they took peely.

My theory is that we’re in an alternate universe and because of that everything is slightly off, meowcles is a tiger, risky reels is ancient, shadow and ghost are the society and underground. Plus we are about in the same time that Midas and his gang came to the island since it was after the black hole.

reminder peely IS the source of Jonesy's visions bc he got a vision before the Ch 3 mech event which made him learn to drive

I like this theory, my theory went like this (it’s long): The Big Bang event is a new beginning but for the zero point. A lot of problems caused after chapter 1 (some in chapter 1 also) was the zero point’s presence. The zero point is essentially a container of all realities to exist. That is why Fortnite’s reality is called reality 0. This accessible power attracts many powerful factions to control or destroy the zero point. The Seven are trying to stop that and free it and the loopers. The Big Bang event was to free the zero point and release every reality in it so it’s harder to destroy/control everything. Jones’ actions in OG season caused a butterfly effect for later chapters. No threats from IO, The Last Reality, or others towards the island and zero point. It could’ve also affected characters like Midas. He never becomes cursed to have his touch turn things gold but instead diamonds. The Society could be the agency that was altered. The Seven is presumably gone from the story because their mission was to protect the zero point and free the loopers/save the island. Their mission and story seems complete besides the loop situation. Epic wants to retire that story. (Also side note, Jones definitely changed the fate of the Seven by the butterfly effect or the very least warning them)

ok hear me out. many theorized that when season OG came, (which for now i will refer to as c4s5) we got transferred into another reality due to the fact that skins were mutated together. And when the big bang happened, the black hole created a new reality all together, kinda like a universe or a galaxy web. anyways, since it was new, it was just a remix of things we’ve seen before Midas = montague meowscles and brutus= oscar peter griffin and solid snake = deadpool vengeance jones = agent peely valeria= tntina hope=skye nisha=gear specialist maya because of this, that explains most of the things that we’ve seen being the same, but different.

Now instead of a zero point and a Island, we have a Zero Cluster and a whole universe with little micro realities inside it? And maybe they want Peely jones since he was there for the original island and Zero Point, what if they want to somehow revert us back?

Peelys chair is in reckless railway in the basement of the Boss room, there are bait white chairs with nana peels in the boss rooms of snooty steppes, grand glacier, and probably lavish lair i haven’t found it yet

You missed a few details the tiger oscar states hes the boss in his music pack and theres a few locations on the map that references c2s2 including a mini rig with tntinas welding helmet and a house with midas' chair from his room in the battle pass i think its more likely the twist of the season is jones just gets peely back and something else defeats the society being midas who would have good reason to want to fight with jones

Meowscles brought peter in after making him buff, and peter is now confirmed to be working for the society. This suggests Meowscles recruited Peter into the society, which would mean Meowscles is a part of the society.

I just want to say the old storyline has not been retconed time has to still be linear as if not so much would be different also I don’t think that would be liked by anyone and I bet as time continues old characters will return.

I think when the OG map was returned it was actually an alternate universe instead of our own, and this chapter is an alternate reality of chapter 2 season 2, so basically instead of meowscles it’s Oscar and instead of Midas it’s montague and he makes everything diamond instead of gold

I have a theory why the society is being introduced once again: So, we all know how Jones traveled back in time and somehow messed up the timeline causing the chapter 5 map, the very same map that would be chapter 2 if he were not to time travel. We also know how Midas made his first appearance WITH THE AGENCY in chapter 2 of the game, which seems to be really similar to THE SOCIETY! This could only mean that because of the time travel involved in the game, it created another version of Midas who we are unfamiliar with but is planning the same thing that Midas was. Perhaps this time instead of being eaten by a shark, he’ll be more successful with his plans and the society will finally succeed causing Jones to have to try and take him down. UNLESS that is he finds Peely and takes him down from there. But anyways, that’s just a theory! A GAME THEORY!

I think that mitis, and the new chapter 5 boss are basically the same characters from a different reality because Jones use the time machine to change realities in the new boss Took you leave because pili used to be on mitis‘s team and so he’s trying to get information from mitis and Jones because he knows about the zero point
