For the mercy moment at 23:15 clearly he's just doing Pythagoras' theorem using her beam angle, to work out the exact position of mercy beyond the wall(s) between them!!! /sarcasm lol.
@seductiveraven4895 Basically you see how flats in spectate can see everyone's outline through the walls most wall cheats let you see that always but it's usually a big box roughly the size of the player model
Im going crazy!!!! Im the mercy, i remember this game. I was soooo annoyed because it was wild he kept hitting whack ass shots. I'm grouped with the Ram and the Weaver and ngl we were all pissed. Cool to spot myself in a vid!
Omg I’m so sorry!! You literally got the worst of it with this cheater, I would have been so done if I were you! The whole time I was watching I was like “poor mercy, they really got the worst of it” 😭😭😭
Oh yeah, and when you were on the bridge and the arrow bounced off the wall behind you and headshot you, that was literally so ridiculous, I really felt for you omfg 😭💔
thanks for the love! the hanzo was such a pain, and im used to being focused ut this was really a whole other level. hopefully he got banned and other mercys will never have to deal with him lol@@angelcake7077
Getting rocked over and over as Mercy is so tough, but I've never had an issue avoiding a Hanzo. If I was getting picked by a Hanzo consistently like that, I would've lost my mind. Sucks that happened, but at least you ended up in a Flats video?
21:54 Forgets that they changed heroes, tries to wall climb as Ashe. This level of game sense tells you all these "cheats" from the Hanzo/Ashe are totally real shots and the tracking is just skill and code FLATS.
Bruh 💀 like I can’t believe some people in chat were trying to play devil’s advocate. Dude misses his coach gun to go to high ground and kills three people from the low ground without missing a shot. I don’t get the disconnect of believing that they have really good aim while having the game sense of a completely new player.
@@joecon601 To a small extent I could believe if maybe they play lots of some other game but are overwhelmed by OW, but like, if you can snipe in Tf2 your prolly have enough game sense to transfer both aim and general game sense and adaptability to other games without just having god-like aim. Obviously cheats of course either way tho.
@@lordcommandersnow1611 yes exactly. I guess in fringe cases this could be possible but it's jarring to see someone have incredible aim while not really understanding what's going on around them. It's crazy because even with walls and all the info possible, the cheaters still look a little lost during the game.
@@joecon601 yee, that's my pt exactly. So odd to watch the disconnect between the aimbot giving them near-perfect aim and the complete lack of skill lol
Honestly speaking, if i saw this hanzo, i would not think he was cheating honestly. And i can see a situation where you would call this person a cheater and the rest of the lobby would just gaslight you.
I had that happen to me one time a widow tracked me perfectly through a wall on first point of route 66 I wall climbed way to high to be reasonable and watched him track me through kill cam called him out the entire enemy team gaslit me saying "dps diff" like no your stupid he's clearly got walls
dont worry its not just you. i think its hard for most people to fathom how good cheats have gotten for ow. basically if this person hit plat legit and downloaded these cheats they can get to top500 and 99 percent of people would think they were legit. its why i just dont check replays or kill cams anymore. i just work on my own game and hope the enemy is doing the same. rarely do you get the overt cheater anymore
no because that only happens with mercy damage buff so the problem is mercy damage buff we need to get rid of it why should a healer have a damage buff just give her more heals
@@litrogue6328as someone with like 80 hours on hanzo. No. The only ones hanzo can’t 1-shot are tanks and reaper mei but reaper mei usually have less than max health in a team fight so they can be one shot. You don’t need a mercy dmg buff
Flats point about getting told “skill diff” happens all the time and it’s really frustrating. I was playing sombra into this soldier last night and bro would shoot right next to me first shot while invis, realize I was invis, then pretend he was invis checking and spray in a circle like his first shot wasn’t a half inch from me. He shot me out of invis twice on his first shot and called it “having better game sense”. He would also conveniently stay away from his team and hover in areas I was at (no matter which flank I went on, he would also conveniently switch at the same time I did) and also called this “game sense”
I know the feeling. Was running down a corridor in collesseo? with sombra and while invisible a Mei just one shot me in the head perfectly from like 40 feet away somehow. 😂 I laughed since it was bs but we crushed their team with the push so in the end they still lost deservingly so.
While I dont doubt that the Hanzo is hacking, Hanzo's arrows have always had a weird magnetic property to them when spectating in third person. Doesn't change the fact though.
He's just using a cheat feature called "history / backtracking" that's how he constantly hits people where they were instead of where they are currently, because it hits their position 4 frames ago
@@azseal2669 It didn't bounce off the wall. Like I said Hanzo arrows act weird when you spectate them, They'll look like they go past your hurtbox but then snap onto it like seen in the video. Look up any video about how wonky Honzo arrows act.
I 100% get what he's saying about aim and game sense going hand in hand for the top tier players/skill levels. It's very true. Any top pubg, warzone, valo player would know better just by virtue of the advantageous positions/movements/flanks in one game, being a transferable knowledge in a new game. The venn diagram for what is smart to do is largely overlapped for most shooters. You would never see a Shroud or a Tenz hide in rooms due to fear, and fail to climb walls lmao.
Yeah, you simply do not have this level of aim without the basic understanding of shooter games that _comes with developing_ this level of aim. I don't play Valorant or Siege much, but despite not being familiar with the maps, weapons, or abilities I still know how to play angles, place my crosshair, and seek opportunities. I'm not an amazing high-level player, but even _then_ I have developed these basic concepts which carry over between any shooter. The only way it is possible to have one and not the other is if you have developed no skills of your own and something else is simulating a skill for you.
there are cases where aim and game sense dont correlate, theres games that may require absurd tracking and precision clicks that *dont* have a standard fps format like high/low ground and such, and vice versa (such as games that have absurd skill floors for game sense and positioning but aim is a moot point, such as melee or autoaim mechanics) the most common example for BOTH of these situations are from MMOs since MMOs dont really deal with multiple heights and most attacks are autoaim, or maybe its assassins creed where assisnations are melee and basically instant kills but have absurd positions and height movement that being said, situations like that are rare as people generally dont swap genres that much, if your an MMO player, you basically just play MMOs, and you generally wont really touch an fps
I think these are some of the smoothest cheats I've seen. This is worrisome.. especially since warden isn't real. They have them turned up to high but IMO if these got dropped to about a 60-70% acc, and like 40% crit acc..nobody would guess a thing.
Yeah also if they didn't constantly lock onto enemies through walls. It's gotten to the point where it's hard for me to give people the benefit of the doubt if they are hitting multiple shots on me in a row nowadays. It's a big feelsbad. I report a decent chunk of potential aimbots, but I think Blizzard is once again not sending out "thanks for reporting" messages at all, so who knows!!
@@karamei i got a "thanks for reporting" message after a guy who was spamming slurs in chat got banned, but idk if theyre doing anything about cheaters. not that it matters since they just make a new account
@@cyberwiife5582 Yeah, definitely one of the big problems with making a game free to play. Atleast in pay to play games if you get banned you gotta drop more money on it to get back in, but that's not a perfect solution either.
lol did you miss the 2nd part where he said 'no player sits in this room, scared shitless', this Hanzo was just afraid to engage, Arrge does it to troll a random Tracer on New Queen Street😂 Like, this dude is *not* playing like Arrge tbf
I wish I had saved the replay but I had a game with a soldier that was rolling. It was after his buff at the time so I just assumed the buff was better than I thought. Potg comes up and I was shocked because from their pov it was so obvious they were cheating it was crazy.
@@SpiritedFalconI had a cass on my team and thought they were just crazy cause they were popping off with triples every once in a while and I watched the replay after seeing POTG bro was a fidget spinner it was wild
I assume they mentioned the second cass because they thought it was a funny a cheating cass immediately got replaced by another one, even if they weren’t cheating
I agree. It's pretty strange to suspect one person cheating on a character, that person disappears and then is replaced by someone who is supposed to be different yet also goes the same character.
i think they might have mentioned it just in case flats didn't notice irene DC'd (since there were 2 culprits in this one) and continued spectating the new cass, accusing them of cheating when they're innocent. especially since the new player had the same skin. maybe overly cautious on their part, but better safe than sorry!
6:00 that actually just happens on hanzo, it's a latency thing. The "bounce" is to correct what should've been from the honzos pov rather than what it looked like. Tracing for when it tps the arrow to the correct place I'm guessing
@Aerogrow I personally think cheaters should have all damage/healing disabled. Can still shoot, still beam, but absolutely no effect whatsoever. After a while, have the game kick them for inactivity; they'd stop cheating real quick.
Flats mate, I watch you currently only on youtube, but I just wanted to say me and my fiancée both love watching your cheater videos, keep up the good work man! We met in Overwatch :)
The fact that its the ugliest skin he has made me think there is no way this is not the same guy! i can believe two people using the skin, but back to back? I havent even seen the skin in a match since it came out xD
@@Rzepki_ the chances of two people in a row having it both equipped and playing cass was just what surprised me. i’m sure lots of people have the skin, myself included, but i hardly ever see it used
flats is fr the main content creator that's keeping me interested in OW2. mf funny and when needed he allows me to understand the game more with the random ted talks he gives mid videos. hes the fun teacher fr
2:38 actually, thats hanzo's "favor the shooter" thing. All heroes got it, but hanzo's looks like that because the arrow hits at one location then zips to the enemy's body to stick inside them. The arrow trail follows because its attached to the arrow, causing this "bug". Its not a cheat, its a (sort of) mechanic. Hope that helps explain it a bit more
The number of cheaters being exposed in OW2 is incredibly frustrating. No one cares if they get caught, they just make a new free account. I've caught a few cheaters in my games but it appears to be widespread. Another reason why the F2P model is shit.
The issue with spotting cheaters mid-gameplay is that you're not focusing on them, you're focusing on yourself and the game. Only the enemy team gets to see the brief moments of them, and even then it's hard to spot because 9 times out of 10 you're focusing on what you did wrong, not what they did. It's not like TF2 where if you're sus of a hacker you can spectate them
I think the most tell tale signs for projectile hacks is character understanding. I mean you can't have someone who is good at aiming on projectile characters (showing they played enough to get to understand how fast the projectile moves) and then have them not understand the characters kit. Like struggling to wall climb lmao. Or on phara not having good fuel efficiency for example.
I just played a game where my ping reached 1k and I was lagging so bad during a team fight in mystery heroes,,, got potg cause I was zen shooting randomly while I was lagging,, 😭😭 IT MADE ME LOOK LIKE I WAS USING AIMBOT OR SOMETHING
I'd say the Cass rage quitted, and no, they don't end the game in quickplay if a cheater is banned. The cheater's spot is just backfilled, the players don't even get a notification.
Honestly, I’ve been playing this game for about 2 years now. I still lack comprehension why they left one shot characters in the game after a shift from 6v6 to 5v5. When I play on PC, it’s a cheaters paradise. And when I play on console, it’s a XIM users paradise. They screw the flow of the game so much. If you get up against a good one shot, or a cheater, it’s usually game over.
Yeah as someone that plays console. Ximming happens so much that I can't wait for something be done about it. So many people will drop in ranks when it does
Played a game yesterday where the enemy team was rolled by my team first round, one of the enemy team swapped to echo and all of a sudden was hitting every shit including auto locking on people’s heads. They got play of the game as I filled out my report 😂. Another person on the team also went hanzo and all of a sudden became a whole new person. I wonder if they got a new gaming chair that helped out. It was all in all really funny.
5:56 those strange flicks hanzos arrows do... i dont know how or why but this feels always so disgusting when you see something mid air flicking in your face
i was seeing chat giving mixed answers, as someone who has to play qp alot as my friends arent high enough rank to play with me, if you get into a game with a cheater and they get banned mid game in qp that player dcs and gets replaced IT DOES NOT shut the game down like it does in comp, ive had it happen a couple times both in qp and in comp, cheater just dcs and gets replaced by someone else
In halo reach there was a “ghost reticle” for plasma weapons that had travel time when you fired to show you where to lead people. I’d imagine it’s not hard to make that in a cheat package for non hitscan projectiles.
5:48 Had a bounce arrow from an enemy defensive Hanzo three months ago. I wasn't even in the crosshair and the sonic arrow bounced on me on the low wall near the statue (and a health pack) of the 2nd spawn, on my leg as Moira, eliminating me in the process in Circuit Royal. Insanity.
Got a cheater in one of my games. Also, was the only person to call them out that they were obviously cheating. Because others thought they were just "smurfing" but watching back was crazy. Later got them on my team and they choose a charcter that didn't require aim and played like dog water. They switch to Ana and could of sworn I was playing with freaking KarQ. Went from 2 kills to 23 kills in like 3 mins. Was ridiculous.
I had 3 qp matches in a row yesterday with hackers. One was playing ashe and went 47-3, and when I called them out and told everyone to watch the replay, everyone just called me a sore loser and said it was a skill diff. The ashe was locking onto me behind walls in a bunch of kill cams. On one, after she killed me, she hard locked and shot at our Ana on the other side of the wall on first point in rialto. I called out all 3, and the only person who didn't immediately gaslight me simply said, "Probably."
You would claim the Hanzo is cheating because you know how Overwatch works; I would claim the Hanzo is cheating because I need to cope. We are not the same.
The AFK does give away that they’re cheating Flats and I 100% agree with you but not always. Sometimes random people AFK because their is something happening in real life their doing; drinking some liquid drinks, answering questions for people they live with, bathroom breaks, quick snack grab, going to do something for someone, etc. I’m saying these as examples as I randomly AFK in Overwatch 2 because I’m getting stuff for my sick parents; both fought cancer and one still is while the other is sick with some illlness. And I’m naturally getting better through multiple gameplays in Overwatch 2; though at times I still suck. I continue to try despite this being my first ever FPS game. Just wish people would realized cheats will give some advantages to games but limits your actual capabilities to grow and better your gameplay senses.
I got an Ashe today, in console comp, in high plat whom did not miss a shot the whole game and hit nothing but headshots. By 4 and a half minutes they had gotten over 20 kills with 1 death
That mercy kill at 6:55 is desync.... In his cheater view he would have missed, but in mercys view he hit her.... That happens a lot to me... i'm in a fight, jump and die in the air, in killcam i dont even jump in his view... same with behind walls kills......
Cheating is at the point where its almost normalised, cheats are pretty hard to detect and not enough investment goes into making anti-cheat software because we all keep playing and paying. Why spend money stopping cheaters if the players are going to pay anyway? Don't cheat btw, just admit your dog water and have fun playing the game rather than pretending to be something you are not.
I played once with a Hanzo I suspected was cheating, the reason I suspected him was obviously very consistent headshots, now not a big deal big it just felt like I was being tracked through walls, but the biggest evidence was I WATCHED his arrow changed trajectory to hit a headshot on me. I avoided it and it turned at a like 70 degree angle to headshot me. The shit you see in role queue quickplay is unrivaled
I genuinely do not understand how people can seriously suggest that neither player is cheating when you can see them tracking players through walls... how are the viewers on Flats' stream this dense?
Guys im pretty sure for the hanzo magic arrow thing, i think thats just a replay viewer limitation. because youre slowing the game down so much, hit reg is probably much slower than the game speed, so theres weird visual glitches once hit reg starts registering. im no expert but im pretty sure thats what it is.
5:52 - what the heck is going on. I've never hit someone like that. The freaking arrow just reflected midair towards Mercy's head.. that was insane. poor mercy. LOL
eh; keep in mind OW spec camera has always been buggy with projectiles. Not that I doubt the cheats being on; but you can't take "wonky" shots as a lead indicator.
Dont pretty much never call anyone cheater mid game, dont know what it is, butt time to time one dude just takes everything to head you throw, happend to me, watch replay he misses many ez shots, but then takes me down everytime whit insane flick or so.
