I Spectated A CHEATING Bastion With Absolutely NO SHAME in Overwatch 2 

Imagine losing against the first Bastion, getting fed up with competitive mode, and going to play against the AI just to relax, only to encounter the second Bastion😂

We're at the point were we can now legitimately report the GAME ITSELF for cheating.

Another handy feature they removed from the game: actually seeing which players in a match are in a group. It just baffles me how many quality of life/fun features they decided to strip seemingly for no reason. Ok, on to the actual video.

You know what would of been giga chad funny? The blatant Bastion cheater in the first game vs the AI bugged Bastion in the second game. I would love to see both Bastion POV in a battle like that 😂

Just noticed the Sombra’s name is french for “you see me”… and yeah… bastion sure does.

I've played against AI on that map before and ended up with an Ana and Soldier under the map... its ridiculous and super funny to see it happen with other heros.

So I think that the bot is programmed to take the shortest possible route to players, maybe even with some little things additional like "look for cover" etc. Either way I think the coding worked out in such a way that the bot realized "Hey theres this wall here that just lets me go everywhere, I'm going to do that"

My only guess for how the Bastion on Shambali (6:56 onward) was able to clip through there is that it's just running into the wall, and because the game runs on ticks and server inputs, the Bastion Bot is literally sending its "forward" signal as few as 20 and as many as 60 times per second. Each time you hit W, your character inches ever so slightly forward, even if you're up against a wall; mash it as fast as the server can register it, and you'll clip through a wall... because Flats noticed that there was a seam in the level geometry, but the Bastion wasn't *_aligned_* with that seam, so that can't be what caused it. I dunno-maybe Marblr has a clue.

That first bastion hacker gave me a headache with all that flipping around. The AI one should have had the Jaws theme music playing. That's crazy.

Pay close attention to 7:40 the bot is not just pressing w. It looks like it jumps in that specific spot before pressing w. Maybe it is replicatable if done with that precise jump.

I encountered that Bastion AI one just they were playing Kiriko instead, we still won but still i had so much trouble finding them that I eventually changed to Widow just to use ult and see where she was

The bastion AI had me in tears from laughing so hard. This bot just became self aware and the first thing it does is choose violence XD

In all the years I've spent playing Practice, I can say that having a Bot fall trough the map and then procced to completely decimate us has never happened to me. Back before the flip, I've had the unusual circumstance where only a portion of the Bot team actually spawned in and even one where NONE of them spawned. In the flip, they actually tweaked the bots so now they're not so predictable and actually try to get out of the way of an Ult instead of just stand there. And they actually pop off Ults themselves when they hadn't before. It's a better challenge than before. I've seen a Bot get stuck-common on Circuit Royal with Bots on Attack. There's some cars parked on the right side of the main spawn doors where a bot might slip in the space between the bumpers and the building and be unable to get free. Doesn't happen often often, but often enough And thanks for sticking up for us who like Practice. I'm not a one trick pony. I don't main one Hero. I mean, there's this whole roster- why pick just one? I like to play Flex, and different maps tend to favor different heros better than others. Practice allows me to explore different heros and learn them at my own pace.

the bot cheating is a fun phenomenon that's been happening longer than you'd think, AI being tested with games and they found out 'taking the easiest option' or the ai just learning, often tends to break the game to beat it

i think the reason the ai bastion could see everyone is because the floor is one way, and he technically has line of sight to the enemy.

The Zarya bubbled Bastion at one point, the healers never healed him, and the other DPS never tried to help him. The tank was being boosted for sure.

It’s completely valid for Bastion to be perfect with aim as it’s a bot. (because Bastion is a robot it makes sense for it to have aimbot).

That AI clip is really interesting I really wonder if it has to do anything with like an anti-stuck measure for them and the game(only for AI) made the bot have no collision or something. My 2nd guess is that it did some in-human input and did something really perfect to do that? Idk but I can't wait for Marblr to look into it because I'm really curious.

The AI Bastion thing happened in one of my games. The only difference was that it was a Kiriko. It was really annoying and funny to just get domed out of nowhere.

This was funny, and crazy at the same time. But wow, I would have never expected anybody to use a portion of the Snipperclips BGM in a video. That brought back memories, and I almost never hear anybody use that music.

I think the reason the AI bastion was “toying” with the enemy was because the AI may have a maximum range they are allowed to shoot at

Other games also have ai that can clip through bad clip brushes. It probably is something to do with the seam, but more likely the wall is slightly sloped or some other jank along those lines of getting skew with some sort if displacment.

It probably is POSSIBLE to use this in game, but it could be close to pixel perfect. That plus the bastion jumping into the wall before that, which may or may not be needed, could make it even more precise

The reason the anticheat doesn't immediately ban them is because they operate on banwaves... If you get rid of every cheater the moment you detect it, the cheat devs can figure out via process of elimination what tehniques get caught.

Most replayed moment is people trying to figure out how to replicate that wall glitch
