Actually it’s a very common difference between lower and higher ranked players. A lot of high ranked players look around a lot more because they are gathering every piece of information they can and constantly being aware of their surroundings. That being said this guy can’t even move and shoot at the same time so I think that’s way too complicated a topic for him to

was really not expecting to laugh as hard as i did at the way he worded it like that when referring to a low bronze sombra, but after watching the whole vod it makes sense. EVERYONE in the lobby was truly at a higher caliber than him so i can understand the pure bewilderment

It's like "she's too oppressive, she takes no skill and she decimates my backline" and then you watch a VOD in bronze and Sombra decloaks, hacks, misses virus and most of her shots and no one looks around to kill her, not even the person she's shooting at.

Claiming the tank went in all the time without the team being ready while basically never helping them push or hold is crazy. This guy had zero mechanical skill, awareness, ability to aim, or ability to adjust under pressure but like all low ranks immediately blames everything but himself 😂

It feels like the player was just... Terrified. Terrified of taking damage, terrified of actually committing. It's like they're still playing league where dying is literally the worst thing that can happen.
Something tells me, I don't play League, but the reason why he sprints back to spawn is literally because in League, when you're low, you run back to spawn or recall, which doesn't work in Overwatch 😂
Fr I'm a predicted silver DPS but even I know when I'm bad (which is most of the time), I play widow most of the time and while I can hit shots, I do terrible when I swap off widow lmao. Even soldier, the easiest hero, I fail on him 😭

@AussieMarshmallow this right here makes or breaks my tanking If I join up with a decent Support that actually assist me a bit, I'll make space and slaughter people. If I don't, and the support is just oblivious or has no awareness, the entire team strings out and falls apart in an endless feeding cycle. I honestly still don't mind tanking but I hate how dull it's getting whenever I don't get DPS support or Healing because everyone else is playing death match instead of the objective. It's worse whenever the other teams DPS and supports ARE and there's team cohesion. But alas? That's QP. It's random as hell.
There's a difference between feeding and 'creating space'. If you're not sure, you'd rather do nothing rather than feed cz if you die we also likely die too

Fr I’ve hit a bit of a ceiling because my meds make my hands a little shaky and I’m kinda stuck at Plat 2, but even with my mouse vibrating like a rabid chihuahua I’m at least not as bad as this guy. He’s kind of a hero in a way, lifting our spirits at the detriment of his own.

This literally happened to me. I was carried to the end of silver 1, got a streak of not crazy good teammates (they weren’t bad, just that they couldn’t carry) and back to silver 3 😔. I’m grinding quick play now to try and learn how to improve
The amount of mental gymnastics overwatch players do to convince themselves that they are not the reason they are stuck in the rank they are at is insane. They simply just cant accept the fact that they just suck.
i cannot believe i just saw someone completely ignore their friendly reinhardt shield, enemy sombra in backline, drop heals at full hp, standing still, and staring at enemies without shooting them 🙀
I know full well that I’m not that good at the game, but I can at least say with confidence that I’m better than this League clown. Watching this Bronze League “gameplay” is painful; I feel like pulling teeth would be less agonizing
interesting fact: the heal pad drops at 100% hp stem directly from league. in league, people set up a lot when a fight's about to go down. giving vision, revving up passive abilities, giving buffs, and at low-to-mid rank, overhealing. because in league it takes no time at all to go from 100% to 0%. so when you're playing a character with a healing spell, you're making sure your heals are set up before fighting ensues. because during the fight, shit will happen too fast to save your skin with a mediocre heal (whereas in Overwatch, heals can, and do, save your sorry hide. because Overwatch's heals are very strong.)
Thats how i feel as support sometimes 😭 i was in a duo with my friend and ironically this soldier kept running into the enemy team, dying, zero call outs, spamming thanks ☠️, complaining about not getting healing, like dude im not going to kill myself to heal you across the map . He wasnt fighting with the team THE ENTIRE GAME, he was just feeding 😭. He wouldnt push up with the team, just alone, and get zero progress but get sent back to the spawn room.
I’ve played tank and support, and if you guys are positive and uplifting your team will fs be motivated to do better. I lock tf in when we lose a round and my teammate says “we’ll get em next time, keep it up”

@@bjones243 Same! I’ll be using an LMG with a 100 round box mag, put bullets down range, have about 65-80 bullets left and still reload; that’s my brain being hardwired to have my gun fully loaded at all times

Not going to lie when I first started didn’t know anything about game sense and when tanks dived I was lost . But after a while I realized what they are supposed to do, and learned heroes to help support them when they dive in

11:00 Zero object permanence. Hell, negative object permanence. Sees Ram walk by, then ignores as soon as they pass behind cover. Sees them pop back out for a split second and turns towards them, then when they disappear again, so does their attention span. Ignores the glowing nano'd blue guy(red on their screen) that is destroying their backline, even as he ults. This is one of the most painful clips I've ever seen.
Feels a bit bad for that tank, no help from the team whatsoever regardless of how over aggressive at times (2nd round very meh, cause that's not gonna go well at all) I also love how the enemy team sometimes just doesn't acknowledge their presence cause they barely pose a threat

Sometimes I think Flats criticizing is uncalled for and more toxic while other times, it’s warranted to go all Gordon Ramsey on them, deserving the sass and rage. This is one of those moments where I love seeing Flats give this bronze player a harsh lesson after seeing the Soldier is more passive and panic and the tank is performing so much more, they deserve the endorsements.
This guy is the perfect example of the tank is always blamed when a tank goes to create space it is up to the rest of the team to support and protect the tank while they do their job

Something I never hear people teach when it comes to Sombra is to listen for her high heels. She has incredibly obvious footsteps and as long as you're paying attention then you will hear her coming more often than not. Edit: I'm having a full on Mandela Effect over here. I swear she had heels but I am wrong.
youre thinking of widow, sombra doesnt wear heels or even real shoes. you cannot hear sombra when shes in stealth but shes incredibly loud with her voicelines and theres a sound when she unstealths + when she translocates. when shes out of stealth her footsteps are also fairly quiet, but literally every other sound cue of hers is loud as fuck.
Or an obnoxious mexican voice, or the BRRRRRRR gun, or the high pitched hack or translocator, or your Lifeweaver sounding like he's having his testicles twisted from the virus, cries of "HELP ME!", followed by the sound of him dying and the kill feed pop-up Incredible how nothing registered for the guy in this vid
