@@diminuendo7525 yeah, but then I realised it's actually not mean because... why is it mean... I mean in the original run it was a little mean since I was baiting players with saying 'ez' at the end of each song but this time I was completely silent but people would rage at me so o_O
you can actually get a better run if you challenge players with the aesthetic avatars or just people with their black grass hair (and of course they have to be active on chatting lol)
@@coolestguyever3843 Wrong, there are two kinds of players with free items, the one you're talking about, and the rare ones that can fc literally any song
@@ananaspiscio3302 unironically my 1-st ever rhythm game, was fnf (the sarvente mod) when i was 15. But now 3 yrs later,i can't listen to fnf songs, cuz vocals re shit (there re no vocals, they re just random sounds and beep boops anyways) but instruemntals re amazing!
Funky Friday has a mix of, A: People who don't acknowledge anything that is going on B: Kids who disconnect every time the other player has a slight score advantage C: People who say "GG" and "You did great" and overall being a good sport There is no in-between. GG on the 8 minute run 👍
I met a lot of C! Though I've also met a few Bs... The ones that scream hacker are a bit less uncommon but they're still way more rampant compared to something like robeats
@@nobbyboi8156 I actually ran into a hacker once but I some how beat them. imagen hacking but still losing to a mobile player with a Bluetooth keyboard that is so small that in can fit in your pocket with room for 2 more of them
Somehow I rarely meet toxic people, all of the people I meet or 1v1 on many servers are usually pretty chill which is nice! Had a 71 winstreak before and literally none of my opponents back then were as bitchy, bless them on another note though, the touhou charts are AWESOME!
As somebody who has played Roblox for a few years now, I can say that it's not really the fnf community that calls you a hacker, it's the Roblox community. It's the same thing in every other Roblox game where there are winners and losers, not only on rhythm games.
Ya it’s very true lol. I’ve seen some outsiders call fnf games on roblox the most toxic thing ever and act like the rest of the platform is perfect. But ya it’s just genuine the roblox fanbase witch I understand cus it’s mostly little kids who haven’t got used to the idea that there are better ppl than them in the world .
Angry children starter pack 1. The guy named "pro" always mad if u called him "no ob" 2. Just that 1 kid saying "ez" after wining on the easy songs 3. Some kid which is a free be, can't talk in the chat (because of safe chat) 3. Some trollers actin 4. That 1 kid that will say "no ob" after he finally beats you in 5 rounds

I remember I actually used funky Friday to improve at fnf in its early days since you can’t die there. Don’t play it as much now but I do sometimes see people like that. *They* pick a hard song then quit if I’m doing better than them.
Back when Funky Friday started getting popular on Roblox, I sucked at rhythm games but somehow managed to get called a hacker almost every day when I played it.
I’ve never had any experience in rhythm games, I’ve never even heard of them before fnf, but I started playing and I enjoyed funky Friday so much that I play it a lot and I’ll say that I’m pretty good for someone who’s never played a different rhythm game before
weird thing is that when I was playing Mortis (a fnf song), a guy with 700M points challenged me and called me a clown for picking an easy song so he destroyed me with Ghost Mania. He was pro but such a sore winner, honestly made my blood boil
The way the dude said those messages at 6:00 makes it sound like he was actively seeking out new kids so that he can destroy them for his own ego and brag about his win streak
lmao, those people are the worst. they have no skill and only seek out newbies for streak to show off. i literally never rejected fighting anyone and got to 130 streak then lost to someone cause i kinda underestimated them and missed on a easy part, but overall the dude was nice and i wasnt mad so we became friends lol.
@@ronin8672 sounds about right but also ro pro only counts your hours for a single week and doesn't keep track of total playtime unless you get premium
I saw that and it infuriated me. Like i get its someone trying to help a newbie get better, but it only got to that point by someone sending false information.
Honestly I don't know what I expected, considering the funky friday devs have openly encouraged literal autoplayer scripts/cheats in their discord before (I tried reporting some people who were admitting to cheating at the same time as they were getting 100% on a song, I said this in the discord and was ready to provide video evidence but the few mods and single dev member who were online in the discord legit just laughed and said I should do the same. Last I checked, any mentions of cheats or exploits are censored in there and there's no report player section)
Coming from experience playing on a fresh account, there's actually a lot of really nice people on FF and a LOT of really toxic people. Typically the nicer ones are the better players who don't really care if they lose, while the toxic ones are the people boasting about their skill I've met some really nice people while playing FF and some really fucking annoying people as well
that’s why you sweat thousands of hours on etterna before playing funky friday to ensure you can beat the shit out of everyone who trashtalks you or other people
Ya this is very true . Tho from personal experience I haven’t met a toxic person . I’ve seen trolls act toxic so they could try to get in videos but you can tell there just trolling. Glad I haven’t seen anyone like that in the four months I’ve been playing.
The people with experience that built up their way are less likely to be toxic than straight up hackers that actually call you a noob for losing to them or people without experience more than a week thinking that they're professional and don't even look at the accuracy so it's below 80.
I don't mind losing since I don't lose often. There aren't many toxic people and when they are they are always trash or hackers lol. People who actually got good at the game are likely to just be nice to you. Hackers don't have accuracy that goes up and down and they often don't write anything
It’s always fun playing this game because you never really know what to expect from your opponent since there’s actually a huge range when it comes to the age of the players. Like, I’m 16 and I play. I’m not Veteran-level of good, but I can do decent so I’ll take it. That and half the time I’m going against my friend Sup who used to play Robeats so he’s better than me.
Honestly, i agree with the "sore losers" thing, i've been playing funky friday since its release and it was always like that, if you won against someone they would call you a hacker or a tryhard its pretty annoying but honestly you get used to it after a while now what is the worst part is the toxic players they keep spamming the chat with "EZ" "NOOB" "L", after they win (or mid song if they have a higher score) and then when someone beats them they call them "hackers" and leave (sometimes mid-song too)
All I get are leavers right in the middle of the song. I can't tell you how many times somebody resets their character when I'm slightly ahead of them. I also don't know what people are saying because I play on xbox, but that's probably for the best considering what tokaku went through
Errr, can I suggest something? (This is optional) You can hide the map and turn off the camera movement and you should hide players/spectators so theres no distraction on stage, and I suggest for you to play in middle scroll (only if you're comfortable with it), and/or set the transparency thing to 0 (I forgot what it's called eGh, not the arrows lol), I'm just saying this so you can play better :) have a nice day!
I once got called a Hacker when i was playing Solo in Funky Friday. Weirdest thing to have ever happened to me in there cause i wasn't even battling anyone i was just De-rusting
Its funny bc i got called a spammer and a hacker lol. These kids who play it are very young so its easy to understand lol. Edit: I didnt notice i got this many likes. most likes ive gotten. Btw if ur under 13 on roblox u have a parental safe acount. Meaning u cant see most chats and other things disabeld. In the appstore its recommended towards 7+. ( btw my english aint good im swedish and 12 yrs old )
@@anthiticpy i get why it's mostly children. fnf isn't targeted towards kids, but roblox is. honestly, people shouldn't be salty towards every child who says they're cheating, because roblox is a game targeted towards children?
@@kudr_ true but if i am correct roblox was originally 13+. On most of my old accounts i had to lie about my age in order to play (I was 8 playing on my aunts laptop i am currently 15 now)
And how is even spamming cheating LOL? You just don't understand anything or you are new at the game if you spam, but It's not a hack or anything like that
I feel like it's not just that kids can't except a loss, (it sometimes is) it's sometimes just that they generally think you're actually hacking. Because it's hard for people who aren't good at the game to believe it's actually possible to become that good and not say you're hacking because there's an autoplay script for Funky Friday, and ever since it came out, people stopped believing it's possible to do as good as you do and they think it's impossible to become that good, so they just say you're hacking
Either way, sore losers/kids that cant cope with how the world works. 99% of those arent people that actually think someone is hacking, they just dont wanna acknowledge their loss. Cause even a kid cant be as dum.b to think that almost EVERYONE is hacking and when you find those "hacker" people, you will see them saying that EVERY TIME they lose, or have some kind of explaination for why they lost. I hate that so bad lol, also piss.d me off in my childhood when other kids did that when playing football or whatever
honestly the best way to counter toxic players is to be nice to everyone after you win or lose. i've played a bit and i always try to do that even if people tell me to shove my GG up my ass
Having a high winning streak doesn’t feel good it’s the opposite you have to see every player stats and when they joined Roblox just to 1v1 them and if you lost the streak all of that is gone
I don't keep track of "unfair songs", but there are some that give certain players an advantage. I sometimes get a higher score, but lower accuracy because I doubletap or missclick, but still hit the note with a 2nd click and they think that's unfair
all the songs in funky friday are modified to give the players equal score at the end. So if you and your enemy both FC 100% the song, it's a draw. So it's more a battle of ACC% rather than seeing the score in the game.
@@RenShinomiya121 Casanova ALT and run on the right side used to give more score to the person that's playing on the right side/boyfriend's side until it got balanced
@@RenShinomiya121 applecore and one of the baby blue songs have a right side score multiplier which makes right side gain score unfairly also i 100%'d happy on right side and the guy i fought got 95% and won by 40k score
@@lonecalzone6901 Applecore and Baby Blue is a joke chart to begin with. The scores are highly unbalanced since you aren't supposed to clear left side. But if somehow both sides can PFC those songs, they you'll see the score is the same for both sides. Like when i meet a hacker playing No Hero on the left side, i lost to them playing on right side.
I've been playing this game a bunch a month ago or so. Mostly played this for convenience sake of not having to start the individual mods but mostly alone. As someone who already has some knowledge and skill in 4k mania, this is literall hell for me. I always see those kids in the chat calling people noobs and saying that they're the best and that no one can beat them. Now sometimes I prove them wrong by just using some Lunatic Touhou song but most of the time I try to ignore it. What I'm trying to say is that the community is in general very toxic, which you would expect from a bunch of 9 year olds but sometimes it can be very fun aswell, if you get the right lobby people will acknowledge you and realize that you are way beyond them. This really is a mixed bag
I’m sorry you have that but I haven’t seen a single person like that in the four months I’ve been playing. Ya I’ve seen trolls try to act like that but half the time you can tell there just trolling. Most the people I talk to say that it’s rare to find Toxic ppl . It’s not really the fnf games tho that’s kinda how roblox works cus it’s a platform mostly for kids. I kinda understand where there coming from also there probably like 5-12 witch they haven’t had the idea that others can be better than them . Personally as a person who’s in this community it’s best to just close chat and move on or just play in private server’s if it gets really bad . ( If I came of as rude please tell me It took me like two different train of thoughts to say this lol )
@@itsuno3695 Yeah that's what I usually try to do, just close the Chat. Guess I have been a Bit unlucky with my lobbys but as I said, it's not always like that. Glad that we're on the same Page here 😌
@@kiewie69 ya I try to help like ppl who are newer to like roblox and stuff and are kinda getting annoyed at the little kids lol. Like in servers if u see someone like kinda just mad but like chill about it I try to play with them even tho I’m like “bad” as some pros say lol but ya it can be annoying sometimes but it’s best to not get bothered by it to much cus there most likely a little kid on there parents phone . But im glad we could agree on something.
time to type Catergory A: Mobile Gacha Rhythm Love Live IdolMasters BanG Dream Project Sekai Ensemble Stars D4DJ Danmaku Kagura Catergory B: Arcade Rhythm with Gacha Sound Voltex (minor, for fun) ONGEKI (this one especially) With my experience with Bandori and D4DJ, Bandori has much better rates, much better progression, and feels a bit better IMO but i mean.. the story is kinda lacking, and... flicks (which i somehow half enjoy) D4DJ is a standard gacha game, with less of a rhythm game requirement, as the story is supposedly nice, and the gameplay has AUTO MODE (that gets you the same loot as normal playing) (but it does make it very accessible, and i love that as well) wait i wrote that much?
Just tried it, saw a dude trashtalking a new player after winning against them. Went next, picked bad apple, made them regret being born x) Can def see the appeal of going into this game as a rhythm gamer
i think the greatest lengths to which anyone has gone to tell me i'm a cheater in ff was when this guy accused another *completely unrelated* person whom i did not know of "selling me the hacks" that i supposedly used to beat them probably didn't help that i got all sicks on the song we had just played and almost all sicks on the song before that
this thing with kids that can't take an L/toxicity in general is a problem in practically any roblox game with any sort of competitive element to it (_especially_ shooters) and that's just sad
there's a cool mobile rhythm game that I seriously want you to try, its called Bang dream! Girls Band party! its a really cool rhythm game that gives me overrapid and arcaea vibes. its actually pretty well made and the charts are decent but it has flick notes lmao but other than that its great
I joined a Funky Friday game and ended up encountering someone being racist on a lobby with Spanish speaking people. He got mad bc i won against him and started saying every racist slur you can think of, bad written tho so Roblox wouldn't censor their message. Instead of being offended, me and the other guys started making fun of the guy for being such a crybaby. He left after like 10 minutes of constantly saying he's better than us for not knowing spanish.
I'm not sure if arsenal is another one with those kinds of players. I don't play arsenal so I don't know how they would compare (nor do I play FF enough to be able to tell)
@@tokaku I've played arsenal, mostly with friends just to joke around and pass the time, i didn't saw anyone being completely toxic, some just joked around saying dumb stuff, but that's it. In my own experience, there are 4 times more toxic people on FF. Usually people who cares about wins more than improving or enjoying the game/music itself.
I accidentally did this speedrun once, I joined a server, played Zavodila on Alt by myself at one of the stages near the center, and then got called a hacker without even realizing it because I had hide players on. The guy who was accusing me of hacking said that I was hacking because I "got 6 misses on Zavodila Alt" *I got 9 misses* anyways, this dude then proceeded to say that my scripts sucked because apparently being a human who is imperfect and capable of making mistakes is no longer a possibility, and to make things even more dumb the guy said that nobody has beaten Night Of Nights with 3 misses despite it not only being pretty easy to FC, but I never mentioned nor played it in that server.
I remember seeing somebody say that osu!mania was like friday night funkin and that its a total ripoff, stating fnf is the best rhythm game. Boy oh boy they had no clue what they were talking about.
fr though i played some like, 2* mania maps? before i knew the existence of fnf osu is still superior but like fnf is just straight up watered down mania for kids
As someone that has played funky Friday for ages these is what you’ll find : 1. Nice players 2.the toxic player 3. Trolls that don’t care about the game 4. People that never join a game and watch 5. Sexist people that call’s every girl that’s good a cheater 6. New players 7. Hackers 8. extremely good players that never loss 9. Girls that dress up as guys to get into more matches 10. The online daters 11. The one that only picks songs with note advancements 12. Cosplayers
I was playing funky Friday when people just ganged up on me and gave me peer pressure by saying I farm wins on new people. They also wanted to 1v1 me to break my streak and if I didn't, they said ai would be scared :/. I don't care about the win streak though and i was practicing with my friend. What was i supposed to say to my friend. Nah lets not practice???
i have played funky friday for near like 50 hours, whether that is just being in the server or playing, and i have will list some stereotypes here the good sport: never gets angry over losing, usually says good job and you did great. sometimes congratulates you if you tell them that u got a new best the kid: usually resets when they are losing by 5k points, calls people hacker when they have 100s of misses. the toxic kids: the worst of them all, good luck trying to convince these guys they are bad... the chatter: always is in the game to vibe or chat to people, never takes it seriously tryhard: "fc or bad" the good player: doesnt tryhard, but still beats down everyone. the troll: spams bopeboo easy to annoy you, usually makes every tryhard rage the hacker: the rarest of them all, i have never personally seen a hacker, although they are very dangerous thats all i can think of, let me know of any other stereotypes if you know them!
whenever i play this game I very rarely run into toxic people. the last time I remember someone being toxic was calling me a bot a long time ago and thats like the only toxic person ive run into which is surprising, its not that bad
Basically what I do in a game called Foam FPS. I alt and then proceed to snipe people from the opposite side of the map and flick with insane speeds toward peoples head just to get called a cheater and watch kids cry lol.
I still remember the time someone challenged me to one of the easiest songs in the game. Missed like 70 times, then called me a hacker for beating them. I still wonder what they are doing right now...
Feel like it also needs to be acknowledged when like mania type players look down on the funky friday players because everyone isn't good or such (believe me they do exist)
Ahhh I love the Tohou songs there, the lunatic ones, the hard difficulty ones actually are the ones that mess me up, since i do very badly on slow songs. but i like the megalo, some lunatic and some hard becaus ei could practice how long i could go
The type of people that are annoying 1: that one person that calls everyone a hacker 2: that one person that just spams 3: that one person that picks unfair songs (like applecore)
I was holding on a 30 streak (I have 250 wins and 80m ish points, I'm not a smurf) and challenged a guy with like 1.2k wins holding a 70 streak on banned and won by like a 40k point lead on a 99.8% FC and he raged SUUUUUUUPER hard. Honestly I feel bad for ppl that lose streaks but I also don't because of toxic ones.
There are a few strats I could think of. One of them should be challenging a group of friends. Preferrably, a group of people with more than 500 wins and less than 400M total scores. You can also challenge people with stereotype slender skin or people with avatar stuff they get from free events. One more kind of target is the type of people that play hard (for them) songs like Whitty's ballistic, God Eater, Foolhardy, AGOTI all the time. Those are the people that more than likely would easily get offended because you're good at rhythm game.
4 type of people in Funky Friday: A: Toxic players; people who type gg ez after any win or makes up excuses if they lose etc. B: Kind players; people who compliment you after a win and don't get mad if they lose etc. C: Hackers, Quitters and Bullies; people who hack, quit anytime they're losing or they're not playing the songs they practiced and people who only play noobs or low level people to get easy wins and streaks. D: Solo players; people who never do PvP and just do solo all the time.
