My channel generally focuses on a more casual side of speedruns. With these videos I want to show off cool speedruns, explain how they work, and entertain. Hopefully you enjoy the content and maybe even take up speedrunning yourself, because it is truly a lot of fun!
And yeah, today we're speedrunning phone minecraft (aka minecraft pocket edition or minecraft mobile), except it's on a ipad... Still phone minecraft in my imo. This is a game where you play minecraft on your phone. Yeah it is kinda one of the most frustrating experiences, especially since you have to use the most update version of 1.16, which heavily nerfs ender pearl drops. I did a bunch of speedruns of it got destroyed over and over. I also completed other runs and the save files got corrupted/didn't even save. Why me?
Also I'm gonna do this it helps I guess:
Not Minecraft, But Water Rises or Minecraft, But Lava Rises, or any other but challenge like that. This is a speedrun / speedrunner of Minecraft against Minecraft PE.

Like I said in the video, this was set seed. Not random seed. So I deliberately chose the best seed for the speedrun, and it’s why I knew where everything was Also at 8:45 I died, spent many more hours trying to get a run, and then just finished it in creative to show what it was like since I gave up. The stronghold spawned so close to spawn because, in Minecraft Bedrock edition, strongholds try to spawn under villages. Also, I suggest you switch your UI to classic. It is much easier to manage your inventory.

Strongholds always spawn very far away from spawn like 1000 blocks, ALWAYS, the reason it spawned close was that he was using a set seed, only set seeds spawn with a stronghold that close

the stronghold spawns so near to the village becuz in minecraft bedrock strongholds normally spawn under villages, and since you spawned in a village, it woud make sense for there to be a stronghold so near

Speezy, here's some information about your run in case you were curious: - It's actually somewhat common for strongholds (or "fortresses," as you called them) to generate underneath villages. Correct if I'm wrong, but I think it's about 20% on Bedrock edition. This is why some players choose to forgo using Ender Pearls all together and just try digging under villages. - "The guy in the black shirt" is called a Piglin Brute. These guys don't trade and will attack on sight, regardless if you're wearing gold armor or not. - You died to an Enderman. You must have looked at him, or perhaps angered him when he walked into your player-placed lava. You can see him angry at 8:46 moments before he kills you after you turn around, and you can also heard its "idle" sound after you die. And, hey, your speedrun might not have been the greatest, and your trades were less than desirable, but at least your run was legit!

It's not a percentage chance for strongholds to spawn under villages, they spawn a certain amount a certain distance away from (0,0). They attempt to spawn under villages as long as they are in the designated range, and 99% of the time strongholds do.

Because without the crosshair you just tap on what you want to hit, so you don't even need to move where you're looking to hit an enemy. As long as it's on-screen you can hit it with one tap, no aiming required. If it moves off-screen, just slide your finger on the screen until it's on-screen again and just start tapping again. Yeah, you can't look around and hit at the same time but you don't need to, plus you can't look and hit at the same time with split controls anyway even though you still need to aim with the crosshair, meaning that split controls are just worse since it's only a disadvantage with no real advantages

It's weird to me that the glitchless run uses the zero-tick Piglin trading mechanic with adding/removing gold blocks... that's definitely not intended. I'd consider it a glitch.

As a former Pocket Edition player i must say that, don't play pocket edition unless is your only way of playin minecraft, not because of micro transactions or different game mechanics, not even because of the textures or redstone. Only because it is impossible to play, yes, you could play for YEARS and the touch controls will still be unbearable to use, minecraft and touch controls are incompatible.

I don't use the cross har in pocket edition btw if u go to setting and scroll to video and then there will be a selection bar thingy it by default it will say pocket edition and then change it to classic for a new UI

well actually the fortress spawned near ur spawn bcuz u spawned right next to a village, yeah in bedrock edition the fortress is always gonna be below a village

Strongholds spawn randomly in pocket edition not like the ring on Java, and do you spawn at the center of the ring on Java but since there is no ring on bedrock, you can spawn really close to the stronghold.
