It's only an asset if the item has the demand to raise in price over time beside that ur just hoping for the price to increase and more of a gamble then anything. Most T's depreciate unless they were super rare to begin with or limited or tied to something very popular or trendy.

serious question, what about someone who goes back and listens to the band? For example i never grew up listening to any of those bands. I never even heard of PJ Harvey growing up but I listen to PJ Harvey almost everyday. I wake up almost every morning and PJ Harvey is in the rotation. Idk I think a lot of people just view it as reselling, for example I dont have any Sonic Youth shirts cause I havent gone back and listened but I would still buy one to flip cause selling clothes is how i pay my own bills and my moms bills. Also why will it deteriorate over time? Just asking questions, not trying to argue or disagree. Everyone has their own opinions.
