Lol I’m sure! I would have thought she could have also wanted it for herself and was waiting for it to go down in price, but being shook makes more sense! Haha 😂
I want someone to just dress like Naruto on Instagram, and I don't even have instagram! lol It could be like cosplay, but it's Naruto inspired daily fashion instead. XD
Because people grow out of clothing. Not everyone stays the same size. I used to fit into size 6, but now I wear size 8 and 10, because I have destructive af thighs. lol Plus, some of us have tiny af wardrobes and drawers and can't keep every item of clothing, so giving it away is a good thing. Someone else has the opportunity to buy it that way.
You asked about antique and by definition antique is anything around 100 yrs old or older. Vintage is under 100 years but no less than 20 years old. True vintage is apparently at least 50 years old. The more you know!
Came here to see in anyone clarified. Id guess that dress is actually antique because it does appear to be 100 years old . Vintage is at least 25 years old but under 100 as 100 makes it antique. great score!
I love the outfit but I'm fairly sure that dress and corset (technically a corselet or bodice) are not antique, of course I dont know Japanese fashion history super well but fabric wise and model i wouldnt say it's that old. Also that corset definitely has plastic boning... which in 1920 could be possible but I dont think the pattern is correct for that either
Vintage is usually clothing that is from the 20's to the 50's and in between. :) Or at least clothing in the style that was popular in those periods of time. It doesn't have to be actual clothing pieces from that time, but some of it is. Whereas, some is more inspired or made recently, but made to look authentic as possible.
Vanish preen oxy action stain remover can get out stains like the soy sauce ones :) it’s in a hot pink spray bottle It’s a “must have” in my house as I am plagued by the same curse 😂
Oxy-10 is a fabulous stain remover. Hand washing is the key in cold water. Eucalon is good for handwashing woolens and sweaters. For small stains also try dabbing with H²O² and rinse, or soak in a mixture of H²O² and cool water. Also I have used whitening toothpaste for stains, or small dabs of clorox, depending on the type of fabric. But it has to be very carefully done and rinsed thoroughly. Test with a cotton swab and only treat the stains.
As an American, the fact that you say “love heart” is so cute and adorable. I absolutely love that, and don’t let anyone make fun of you for that. Different cultures say different things and pronounce them differently. If Americans can’t handle or understand that, it’s not your problem queen. Thank you for this amazing haul you look beautiful in everything and they are such cute finds! ❤️
Thrift shopping is amazing-it’s good for the environment (very sustainable and good to give really nice clothes a second home!!) and it’s not super expensive and you can find awesome things. It’s a win win win!!
Loved how you styled everything! I found myself not liking an item, but when I saw how you styled it, I really liked it. Makes me want to expand my fashion sense.
I love thrifting! I understand the dilemma of not having a way to "link" to the products, but I would say you can mention the brand of the item because you can do a fair bit of "online thrifting" if you know where to look!! :P
im non binary and i LOVED those jeans she was like "i'm not so sure about them now" and i was like what are you talking about they're glorious!! and now i know why they're For Me they're the Mythical Non Binary Jeans
I'm not sure why other people watch thrift haul videos, however it's not about being jealous to me. I love that you are promoting a more sustainable fashion and that you are a major influence on styles that, for someone as fashion dyslexic as me, can give a go! Xx
I actually really missed Archies screeching and his personality he adds to videos. I still really enjoyed the holiday videos but i'm happy to see birb again
That skirt that is right above your knees is adorable at that length. It totally reminds me of the 50's and with the sweater you paired it with is a gorgeous outfit. There is nothing wrong with being a little retro
It actually makes much more sense to say it that way because me, for example, I am a very literal person, and when someone says “heart” I think of the actual organ, saying “love heart” makes me think of the figure you get in decoration and stuff. So it actually helps me a lot
Because it's completely unnecessary. Literally no one is going to say she is wrong when she's pointing and the hearts and she just calls them hearts. There is absolutely no need to specify it in this case so I can understand why it sounds annoying lol
The fact that I can't buy the stuff is one reason I like thrift videos, because it takes away the "stress" of thinking about whether I want it or not, or if the store has my size. It's relaxing to just admire the pretty things and if I want something it inspires me to make it.
You've become so good at styling yourself now 😲im so happy to see how far you've come from saying you can't style yourself and now all these awesome outfits 😍love your videos and archie keep up the awesome work!!!
that blue dress with the corset and the négligée is probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. no kidding it's absolutely gorgeous and it fits you soooooo well
I am American and I love love love when you say “love hart”. It’s the cutest thing ever! Also that bib thing is called a cravat. Hugs love you lots!!! ^o^
PLEASE DO MORE THRIFT SHOPPING VIDS! I LIVE FOR THRIFTING! I may not be able to buy the exact things u get, BUT it def inspires me and others to go thrifting and see what we can find!
Congratulations on the sponsorship!!!! Also, as a student in the UK, I live in charity shops. Have a spare hour between teaching? Charity shop. Need to relax? Charity shop. Need cheap, ethical clothing??? CHARITY SHOPS!!!!
Don't stop making thrift videos! I do all of my clothing shopping at thrift stores and it's always a struggle when I find unique pieces that I love, but I don't know how to style them. This helps me, and I'm sure many others, a great deal!
Oh my gosh I LIVE for thrifting videos! I love living vicariously through the excitement of finding that rare amazing find. The last Thrifting in Japan video was so fun cuz it just felt like hanging out with friends in Japan and I’ve never been but always wanted to go to Japan. I love your channel. 💗💗💗 Also GIRL YOU NEED TIDE TO GO PENS 🤣🤣🤣
I appreciate the fact that despite what others might think or say you stay true to yourself. Your honesty, and willingness to create content for us is amazing! Thank you for your efforts! I absolutely adore Archie as well, always makes me laugh. 💜
The giant tags on the clothing are usually used to identify the original design/variations of the design before production. After the shirt goes into production usually the original designs or the variations are sold during sample sales.
I like the thrift videos & Would like to see what the thrift stores are like in Australia .ps I missed Archie it was nice to see the sweet boy 🦜holly was sweet but Archie has my heart 💚
I love this ♥ My mom runs the thrift shop at her church, it's always so cool to see what kind of unique things they get in. I'd love to see more thrift hauls in general, I know Sam's done one before too. It really helps get interest in thrift shops up. You can find super cute, unique things at a great price. You also help out the communities and is better for the environment than having things shipped from online. So viewers might not be able to get the same items you did, but they might be inspired to find what kind of thrifted items they can find in their area.
"This was really cheap, like 5 or 10 dollars". I literally went to McDonald's earlier and tried to buy 20 nuggets and my debit card was denied 😂 I think our definitions of cheap are a little different 😂
@@123Juissi123 think same thing like 100$ is expensive for certain clothing items but 10$? I wish my clothes costed that much all the time I would be rolling in a new style everyday
