Very smart grabbing those old cards! Most of those cards ended up in the garbage from getting beat up so much. Those will just be worth more and more in the future and you're young still so hold onto those rare ones and it will pay off!!!!

Most of those PSA slabs are older slabs. I know that you can reholder, but there are discounts on 20 year old PSA grades too. It's great that younger guys are buying Vintage. Congrats on the pickups.

Great content as always. Hobby veterans love to see younger vintage collectors. For 35 years we had a great local show here in Northern California that was vintage only. Even up to 2019 only cards 1880-1980 were allowed at tables. I'll let you know if it ever starts up again.

Someone needs to track down the guy from the Wille Mays story and do an interview. That’s a crazy story . I’m super intrigued. I’ve heard he’s not nice. Very bitter about how much players make today .

it was willie mays being a g. he crossed out ty cobbs name. its totally understandable for him to hate ty cobb. you cannot think that dudes who grew up in segregation would be totally ok signing/endorsing something with a sig of a known racist.
