@@SeanDuffy1986 You didn't read what he wrote. Counterfeits are only counterfeits if you use them in such a way to deceive others. Proxies are only proxies because you're using them as a substitute. If he's not using these cards in a tournament or trading them without disclosing that they're not real MTG cards, then they are just being used as proxies. The whole point of proxies is that cards are too expensive. Now we're trying to police how we can buy proxies?

@@sd8733 sure dude, been in this game a long time. Glad I can find a proxy, an obvious proxy to replace my expensive cards so they aren't damaged.

@@JoeyMossBBG I can guarantee I've been in longer... Don't get me wrong, I don't mind proxies but these are COUNTERFEITS made in China in Shenzhen. They are very dangerous if they see circulation and someone like you, with the reach you have in the industry should NOT be promoting this. The more that are out there being bought up by Timmy's the more will get sold to poor unsuspecting folks who have no idea and your only adding to the problem. Make a video of you signing them or burning them and you'll regain my respect and many others. If not, well you are just as terrible as the counterfeiters that made them. Man it hurts my heart to do this because I watch your videos almost every day and I get a kick out of your shenanigans. To be fair though, this is something that is just bad news to promote. Take a look at the counterfeits you opened and have a think about what kind of reprints we've been seeing the recent years. I think you'll find a rather high correlation between the Chinese cards and the high end reprints minus the reserve list cards for obvious reasons. Wizards probably saw this and reacted giving players a chance at these cards again because they have no way to go after the counterfeiters in China. Collectors hated this but players and new players benefited (basic economics). Temu, Wish, etc are all drop shipping scams for cheap foreign garbage. Keep your money in your own country and support your LGS. Support the games you love, and just enjoy that we are able to have so much variety while still keeping this a collectible hobby, that's how this game and others games will survive.
