Love how supportive your husband is even though the pallet wasn't so great this time. That's how any partner (whether in a business or relationship) should react. Thank you for showing us the realities of the reselling world, which sometimes end up not being so profitable, but it all comes with the territory. On the bright side, you honestly didn't spend THAT much on this pallet (not like $6000 ones you have in the past), so even if you end up losing some money on this one, you FAR recouped that loss with the other high-profit pallets you've gotten in the past. Always gotta look at the positive!

I think you should make cool looking shirts that say "that Pallet Sucked". or "I bought a really bad Pallet" and then sell them as site merch or use then for RU-vid giveaways

I think once you add it all up and be able to sell things lower then retail, ppl will buy it. My guess is you will probably make even, maybe a tad more! TJ sounds so much like my hubby. In 2 weeks it will be 20 yrs of marriage. No kids, just us. Which is harder than it sounds. Lots of marriages ride out rough spots "for the kids". Yeah we didn't have that extra glue. But we are absolutely in love and can't imagine life without each other. He's my rock. I'm the self employed risk taker...he's the gentle supporter who's been an engineer for the same company since he graduated college. He's just the best and TJ sounds awesome too
Durango is usually found at rural king. Which is a like a farm type store. Lol. I have no idea how to explain it. But normally really good quality items. I love the Ariat jeans from there.

I'm glad you showed a failure because this platform in filled with wins and never really the loses which I know happen frequently as buy a pallet blind is basically gambling, which is very hard to base a business on.

Such a supportive hubs! I would be tempted to bundle the bedazzle shoes & other lower price items & try to sell them in bulk to fleamarket resellers. Just an idea 😀
TJ is so quick with Math, but I think this a great video just to show everyone it isn't always rainbow and butterflies while thrifting. I've experiences it myself while thrifting sometimes when you thnk you find something great, only to find a huge stain / hole that you didn't see earlier. Granted in your situation the monetary value is 1000x more, but it's just disappointing. But you'll get through this! Till the next pallet, haha!

I'm soooo glad your shared this. Just 2 days ago I spent 100 on 13 items. I was like what the heck was I thinking? Big purchases like yours or small purchases like mine, it still gives us that really sick feeling in our gut. I cried to my husband in the car too and he was sooo encouraging and sweet. It just makes you so sad after you spend too much per C.O.G. or if you buy a huge mustery palle and you can barely make your money back. So I know exactly 💯 how you felt in the car that day! I'm with you mamma. There are deff sp super hard reselling days to this journey 🥺

Your kids are really lucky to be growing up in such a loving, supportive, and communicative environment (both of you seem that way from the videos I have been watching). Thanks for posting this video by the way; not everything are sunshines. If that happened to me, I would donate some of the clothing items to local homeless shelters or domestic violence shelters.
Just remember you have to take the good with the bad & to think, this is your first bad pallet you’ve had. But also making & printing those plain t-shirt say 7-10 dollars each hopefully you’ll break even. You’ll be buying your next one soon & get all the good stuff rolling back in. Btw your hubby is just like mine, so chilled & says the right things, just when you need them to, especially when you feel down about it. But hey no harms done, get back on that horse again & carry on. 🤗🤗 mx
