Thanks so much Ty! I agree, I was really happy with the vibe and after so long I had almost forgotten that was what I enjoyed the most 😂 Glad you enjoyed!
As much as I would love to, I don’t think it makes sense considering how small my city is and how much space a train line would take up. I do think if I had a bigger city someday I would love to do that though, and I did recently buy the Brick Cross train station from Bricklink. I just don’t plan to put it in my city at the moment since I’m out of space (as you’ll see in the next city update lol)
Dont feel bad buying those. When i started building my Lego Port City, i bought 10 boxes of those road plates when they 1st came out.😄 i like those better then the old road base plates😄✌️ hello from Japan.🗾😊
Sorry for replying so late, and that’s super cool! I like them more than the old ones too (clearly 😂), and also hello to Japan 😄 P.S. could you send me a picture of your port city on Instagram? I’d love to see it
@@PetersPieces i would like to send you but I dont have IG. However, Im a member of a few Lego Groups on Fb. Including Lego Transformers.😄✌️ wish RU-vid will allow to post pics.haha I also did a MOC on my 1st Battle ship for my Brick Port City. 😊🚢⚓
He still came out cheaper than me! In my city I have gray roads as well except I built my own on 16x16 gray plates... Then I covered them all in 2x4 dark blueish gray tile.. or in other words in 18-in section of my roads cost about $75 I have a 8 ftx 4 ft long City
I can see why! I think completely custom roads like that look really good but they are quite expensive. I hope your city looks great with them though 😄
Thanks Tayshon! And i think its only like a third the size of the city tables but it’s still crazy that it’s that big lol. Can’t wait to put them in the city!
Great question! I think that would be fun, but I’ve already put the roads into my city (there’s another video about that) and I don’t have room for an airport in my city right now. But a cool idea nonetheless!
As much as I like the flexibility of the new LEGO roads, I don't think I'll use them since they don't look good with my light grey road base plates. I have a lot of older LEGO sets that use light grey road base plates. The new dark grey roads don't match up well.
I can understand that, yeah if you already use the old ones I can see why they wouldnt be worth the upgrade. I got especially lucky because not only did I want to put roads in my city, I was short on table space and these ended up being cheaper for me to use as well. Thanks for commenting, it’s cool to hear that you have so many classic sets!
Glad you thought so! And also that would be super epic, but unfortunately I will only have normal sized roads in my city. Maybe if i had a few thousand dollars to spare 😂
At the time, that would have been more expensive! The sets hadn’t been out for very long when I started that video, but next time I would definitely check bricklink prices first haha
