Malcolm Stewart sat down with Vital MX at Nashville to talk about early career expectations, betting on himself, filling his brother's shoes, can he still win, and much more.
The entire Stewart family are awesome humans. People forget they truly dealt with some sad shit based on their skin color and they are all still good people
I’ll never forget coming home from redbud and you were a wee little lad and James bike malfunctioned and we were at a light and I said he’ll get them next race lol and big James was like Yepp and Malcom shook his head yes, must’ve been heading to the airport, who would’ve thought you got so good with big shoes to fill! One of my favorite racers!
Exactly. This needs to be done with every rider. I wont lie, I didn't like ac forever, but after listening to him speak and how funny he is changed my mind
We have a whatsapp group over here in the UK and Malcolm is by far our favourite. We need that win as much as he does. We will always be behind him as we know its coming
I agree, the guy is super cool. I really felt he would get a win last year before he got hurt, it seemed right around the corner. Not sure what he’s going through this year but I always hope he gets out front.
Malcolm is good for our sport. His joyful personality, his perseverance, he races you hard but fair (like Eli & K-Roc) & helps bring non-discretionary of ethnicity to our sport (like soccer...fans & players of all ethnicities cheering & enjoying it). Go Malcolm 👍
@@davehanlon2920no, we need to see race and different ethnicities it brings in diversity which is good. It’ll be boring if everyone was exactly the same. The problem comes in when judgment is passes because of race
How can you not love Malcolm? Such a good ambassador for the sport. I hope that guy gets a win this year. So cool for him to shout out the semi truck driver. That’s such a bigger deal than people realize.
🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 For me personally I've never compared you with your brother, because of your brother you were allowed to play at life and how great that was for you, but good for you for your achievements so far , you are your own lane 🇬🇧💙🔥💥😎
Because of their dad. You think his brother races his bike for him or something? Malcolm got the opportunity to work on his riding skills because of his dad. It’s not like His brothers fame can win a championship for Malcom 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mookie is a rider that Ive ALWAYS been pulling for. I loved his attitude towards racing. He ALWAYS seemed so chill. Everyone else wld put expedtations on him, and Mookie took it all in stride. He is a great man!
Great interview man. Malcom's awesome. I always like hearing him talk when my day is going sh!t cause his attitude never fails to bring me up. Wish I was more like that.
Great questions and interview. The other day I was watching the race and a co-worker described Malcolm as a punk. "It's the complete opposite dip shit", was my response.
Man, # 27….. Malcolm Stewart. You are an amazing ambassador for our sport. Keep the good vibes rolling and hopefully a kid will see that it is a fun sport to be in 🎉 PS be good to see ya on James’s podcast one day… just saying ✊✊
Great interview Darkside!!! This was awesome how Malcolm really opened up and I feel like I haven’t seen that side of him before and got to know him better. The short question interviews you have been doing are really fun-thanks so much for this!
If you didn’t come to Vital this sports media just wouldn’t be the same, you’re product reeds on the podcast are so good lately it’s all about confidence and not listening to Stevie’s critics, great job sir ❤
Mookie…you Da’Man! A real dude living an above average life with some great people around him. Wishing him the very best for the rest of his career - will certainly be following every race he’s got left in him and cheering him on. Looking forward to seeing ya at Fox Raceway champ.
So much respect for the Stewart brothers. I've got Bubba posters signed, own a 22 FX450. Coming from Honda for 4 decades, Husqvarna is amazing for my use.
Didn't care too much for Malcolm when he was a kid, I don't know Maybe because i'm eight years older than james stewart, But the man that Malcolm has matured into Cannot be praised enough. Such a great man, and great for our sport..
Mookie definitely more like big James he also races under the largest shadow one could ever imagine . So humble & grateful many could learn how to treat people like MOOKIE does . Keep on doing what you do good luck 🍀 & stay healthy.
