That seems like 520 worth of food . Now a days back then you would have been stocked for 2 months almost 😩

My mom and I are both on food stamps. It is rough!! In the summer of 2022 we decided to get a small chest freezer not only to help in going out to the store less frequently but with the prices of things going up and up. So when things go on sale especially meat we can buy a decent amount and then repackage them and label them into portions appropriate for us. Makes meals quicker too because sometimes I cut the meat up and marinate it in the bag then freeze it. Especially if you lay the bags flat in the freezer then it takes up very little space and easier to defrost. Also the chest freezer is so helpful for freezer meals! The size we got barely make our electric bill go up. I can not recommend one more! Sending well wishes to you all.

Just to name a few meals: stuffed catfish with loaded baked potato and salad, beef tips and rice with steamed vegetables, stuffed baked chicken breast with mash potatoes and asparagus. Desserts: try making oreo lasagna, cookie brownies by betty crocker, and maybe baking an apple pie with ice cream.

Tuna would be good on that bread or turn it into garlic bread and put some chicken cheesesteak with spinach on it fried onions some mayo and ketchup yum
