I only play lottery with it's real high and never spend over 4 or 5 dollars. And only do it one or two times a year. Not every time it's high it's the same way with scratch off i buy one or two a year just for fun. If I win I get my money back I don't take it up there and get another one.

Back in my youth living on the street, I found two 20$ winners in a row. And another time I found a 50$ winner. Make sure to scratch those chances clean. My luckiest win and the only time I actually gambled is at pull tabs. I cleaned two machines out at 500$ total with only thirty 2$ tabs. It was my 21st birthday and had been to so many bars for free drinks that is all I remember from that night. Never played again. Life is already a gamble so I thought to save it for crossing the street. But in the end, wish I had gambled more and got run over by a truck. Would beet where I ended up in life.

I spent 80$ yesterday, came back with 25$. I rarely ever splurge like that, however I play mega, powerball etc regularly with a respectable and reasonable budget. @its our world Moderation. That's what it's about. Hate to see anyone spending their rent money. We've got a few characters around town who sit in their cars, scratching away, for hours at a time. In and out, In and out, In and out. Damn. One time, I went in on an entire pack with a few friends. $5 ticket pack. Usually I stay far away from any scratcher temptation. I figured, what the hell. You only live once. But, unless there's a BIG winner in it, you will lose at least 30-50% of your investment. I'll never do that again. However, I did have fun doing it. Those tickets are so watered down with "Try Again." But the temptation is so overwhelming, especially if you think that winner could be the one you haven't bought. I only buy the Bingo tickets. It takes a while to get through it, and it goes perfectly with a beer, on the porch, after work. I saw a documentary about how those tickets are produced. Warehouses of spools, bigger than my apartment. Huge. It's a pretty cool show, that takes you from design, to the store. Lottery headquarters are like Fort Knox.

A few tips: Its always best try to buy the same game with the entire bankroll, not multiple games equaling up to your bankroll..you get better odds of winning. Also be sure to check your states lotto website to see what games still have the big winners unclaimed and buy those, I know you said those are new games so the big winners are still probably in circulation but I see so many people go in and try to buy lets say a few crosswords when that line of crosswords only has the small winners left 🤣

I, myself, have never really grasped the concept of scratchers tickets. Spending $80.00 to gain only $26.00 sounds, well, ridiculous too me. It's just not good economics. But, if you, yourself, enjoy them, well then more power too you. You really seem too enjoy them, & anybody getting happy over any little thing is the key to living a happy life. My father plays scratch off and he came up with a good system that allows him to make $80, $100 or even sometimes $600. He loses sometimes like the guy in the video, but he has a small amount set aside to play his scratch off so it is not a big deal.
Lol found this in my suggested watching lol. Watched all day. But I must say you call it winning when you get 45$ back after spending 80$ lol help me learn that math so I can pay rent without paying rent lol.
Or you could have gone on etrade and bought $80 worth of S&P SPIDR. That way you can go on being a winner and a looser for years, depending on how the Fed is rigging the market this week. .

You can also buy your tickets from machines at supermarkets or walgreens, cvs you might get more winners....maybe. Do you ever check your state's lottery web page it shows all your scratch off tickets and here in NC they keep the page updated to show how many top prizes are left on each ticket. It will show how many top prizes are left on whatever group of tickets you buy. Not all tickets have top prizes left but if you're satisfied with any prize I guess it doesn't matter. They also distribute new tickets the first of every month with different prize amounts here. Good luck....... cheers :)
Hello, yes we do check the website often, plus we order full reports to see how many of each prize is left on them, it does not cost anything too. We usually like to buy certain numbers on the roll so we dont buy many out of the machines,, because you cannot tell what number they are on, some states machines do display the number of the roll its on. It's smart to buy the tickets when they first come out. I noticed with the Michigan lottery that it seems like people win more when it first starts out just to create a hype, then the longer it goes the less you win. This also seemed to have happened when they did the poker lotto, and the instant money tickets that print up the tickets and you just look at your numbers instead of scratching them. I won like crazy at the start even a couple $75 wins, but I quit once I hit too much of a dry spell. You always quit while your ahead.

I was in line behind a lady at gas station. I was in a huge hurry and this lady would buy 1 scratch off, scratch it, lose, and buy another while 4 people were standing in line. I finally said something and she flipped the hell out on me. People have no respect anymore. This went on until she won but she also had to buy 6 20$ tickets lol
I work in a convenience store and if a customer tries that I ask them to move. If they say but I'm gonna get another i tell them they need to buy them all at once or get back in line as it's a different transaction

watching this video makes me so glad I do not scratch off like this now i did once pay my power bill and it was $260.00 I had 3 bucks to my name so I said what the heck give 3 dollars in tickets and I ended up winning all the numbers on the tickets I was thinking maybe I won 5 bucks nope i ended up winning $200.00 i put that all in the bank and was a happy camper
I never understood why some people spend money on scratch off lottery tickets and only scratch off the bar code to scan it in order to see if it's a winner or not. I mean why not just play the game and get a little bit of excitement? even if it's not a winning ticket. After all, they did spend the money to play a game..
