I totally understand that it's a luxury product calendar, but I'm shocked that they have so many dior minis!! I hope they exchange the lipssticks for you! It's nice that the box can be re-used, but I definitely loved the more value oriented calendars , like the Harrods one. Thanks for unboxing it, it was interesting to see what luxe brands like Dior have

I like high end products and have bought Harrods and Net A Porter calenders in the past. However, you calling the Harrods advent calender value orientated has me 😂 Though I suppose to this one it is!

@julie-annestanoch4545 I think in this case im defining value by the price vs what's in it. $250 cost vs. $1,139 worth of product inside. The Dior one, for $570, I would just spend the money on the actual products I wanted and ask for the travel or mini sizes as samples lol The NK one is really good but it's sold out

So not worth it for £570 and nearly all minis how do they justify the price they need to have some full sizes not just the lipstick! The same every year just not worth the price 😕

I don't think any of the high end are worth it. I think only RU-vidrs can afford them-they can at least pass the cost off against their tax! I can't believe Karen can possibly use everything from all the calendars she buys, it's crazy.

I can't actually treat this as an expense for tax purposes because it's not wholly and exclusively for the purposes of the trade as I use the products personally. I also don't use everything I get in calendars, I give lots to family and friends, do giveaways and donate them too. Thanks for watching ☺️

Of course it’s going to be the same products as it’s one brand Advent Calendar, it’s not curated like Space NK that has different brands, so in this case it’ll have the signature, well known, popular CD brands Minis is not bad actually cause if they cause reaction to your skin then what a waste on a full products Though I get why people go on about having minis in AC If most of these products are full size they’ll be priced more then I’m sure you get people moaning about that 🙂 x

I think knowing the worth and value and the quality of these products in premium luxury AC you can appreciate why they are of that price...Glossybox their curated contents this year reflects that of the price...but say Harrods is on the expensive side but the curated products they had in AC you can see how they are massive difference to Glossybox, you won’t find MUA, Baptiste there 😆 I think it depends on how you appreciate the quality of the products, so if you prefer affordable The Ordinary £10 compare to Dr Barbara Strum that can cost up to £100+ which deemed very good but so other people think so too of The Ordinary But I wouldn’t write off as “not worth it” cause they do depends on what you can afford and the quality of the products you prefer I guess 🙂 Ah ha she does say products she doesn’t like or as her being generous person she reused one of the AC boxes to give as a present to family and friends just saying x

I was looking forward to this! I honestly think they increased the price just because they have increased the price of most things in general. The off/on is the only cleanser I use. It makes a incredible difference. The full size lasts very long and its performance is excellent.

Im not a dior perfume fan but i did buy the full set of limited edition rouge premier porcelain pieces recently and have just received the new Bernardaud lithophanes ultra limited collection. These are my heirlooms plus with dior skincare and some makeup i went from pearl throufh to platinum on loyalty in two months and am half way to keeping platinum status next year too. The free gifts are a.m.a.z.i.n.g!!! You are dead a long time guys. Treat yourself to something nice if you can. You are worth it!❤ps great vid Karen. I enjoy your unboxings so much x

Absolutely beautiful Advent Calendar! Enjoyed yr unboxing. Very pricey. If yr happy that’s all that counts. Nice selection of perfumes, lipsticks, nail Polish n some nice skincare & candles. Definitely, reach out to them about the 2 lipsticks being smashed. U need replacements for what u paid. Gorgeous reusable box! TFS! Always enjoy yr unboxings! ❤❤

I was soooo close to ordering this as would've took me 2 3rds of the way to platinum 😆 BUT the 2 nail varnishes & the 2 red lippies I'm not fussed about. Already got the rose serum & the cleanser, so there's 6 of the items I wouldnt want. Most advents aren't worth the prices they charge BUT imo it's more about if you want/need what's inside coupled with the "feels" it's nice to feel a bit luxe now & then. I might actually get the Guerlain one instead for the same price. Thanks for the vid. (Also now with paypal pay in 3 etc is easier for ppl to buy luxe & pay monthly). x

This one is my dream advent calendar, I really love Dior but it’s like $1000 here so just a bit out of my budget, that box is so gorgeous and will be an awesome keepsake, and it looks like it is great quality so will hopefully last a long time. I wouldnt purchase this....i want product...not pay for companies name...then get 2 damaged products..and candles an ornament...for what one pays for this they should put a full size bottle of perfume...you could buy 2 bottles of perfume for the price of box!!!!

I love these one day I’d buy this, it ticks all the boxes fir me what I’d buy in AC...candles, perfumes and skin care. This is such a treat indeed! Beautiful calendar and it looks worth it. How awful your lipstcks were smushed. I hope they replace them. You did get a variety of products and some great sizes! I love your channel. You are always so sweet and lovely. I loved the box reveal. Is their a video on last years? Perforated doors on an expensive calendar? I would have been upset. I love the drawers so you can reuse it. I couldn't believe the bottom even had little "feet" to hold it still. If I had the money I would buy it. I'm still in shock from buying the Elemis advent for $280 US - but I love it! Take care! For your US followers, $750, free delivery, and don’t forget your 2 free “travel size” gifts! This is an amazing collection! Yes, it is expensive, but, besides receiving some extremely nice products, we can't disregard that, like the Harrods, P Louise or the Liberty, the box itself is an exceptional keepsake, and there are some lucky people that will make the purchase, like MissBoux, and never regret it. Fabulous presentation of an incredible Advent Calendar. Thank you for sharing with us MissBoux. An unfortunate shipping issue concerning the lip products, I have no doubt they will replace them.

It was very expensive but this is a luxury brand so even the small sizes are worth a lot. I know people say they are free gifts but you would need to spend over $200 at least to receive one or 2 of these sizes, so from that POV you are getting more. I do think one retail size perfume and lipstick would have been better.

Such a shame about those two lipsticks. Hope Dior's customer service has been helpful. I imagine a fair few others will have had the same experience. Will be a shame for those who have bought this and then wait until the day of advent to open it, to find a beautiful lipstick's been squashed because of the poor packaging design. At £570 a pop, they can surely afford to fine tune those details.

Unfortunately this isn't the case if it's not wholly and exclusively for the purposes of the trade and because I use the products personally, it's duality of purpose and therefore not a business expense xo

It still shocks me that people are gullible enough to spend squillions on something purely because it has a supposedly “ exclusive” name stamped on it. Look at the huge wealth of the top designers, Versace, lagerfeld, DK, all products that are made cheaply and often poor quality with a massive profit to be made because we’ve been fooled on a massive scale to think they are the must haves to appear fashionable or superior, it’s very odd!

I got better sizes for free when I got my bf 200ml Sauvage, sauvage shaving cream and sauvage moisturiser for his birthday ( it’s his absolute fav scent ). He got a few sauvage extras in sizes that are in this calendar and bigger for free, so it’s kinda telling. And I’ve spent just over £300 and not almost £600 😅 this calendar is just not worth the price, doesn’t matter how pretty the calendar is and what the name of the brand is. If they put free samples with purchase into the calendar for their customers to buy, what luxurious is in that? Nothing.

I'd never pay that for that Calendar, it's just not worth the money,,all you get is tiny Frequencies,they could at lest give u bigger Bottles of perfume,,where's the money worth? Come on dior,,just not good enough,but if Yr happy with paying that much then thats all that matters..

I love Dior. However, although the products are lovely, this is really disappointing. I would have expected this to be 'WOW!', Not 'oh, that's nice'. It doesn't scream luxury, to me.

Definitely not worth the money. I understand that the beautiful packaging adds to the cost of the calendar, and I also understand that the perfume miniature are collectable pieces for someone… but also people who can afford luxury calendar like this want value for money.
