Finished Music Video: • FINALLY. I spent an ENTIRE YEAR learning Unreal Engine 5 (and a million other things) so I could make the music video for my most recent song, FINALLY. ball game for 2023 game of the year
FINALLY. A NEW VIDEO. Sorry this took so long! It was an absolute beast of a video to edit with over 5TB of assets including 300 hours of video split over 953 clips + 1,636 voice recordings + 118,051 images making up over 170 test sequences and progress pictures + a whole bunch of motion graphics that I made from scratch. It was originally around 47 minutes but I cut majority out because BORING. Anyway now that this is out of the way I can finally start putting out some garbage quality videos that don’t take an entire month to edit yay!!
Not only do you have a passion for making music, but you also have no problem spending a year learning things just for one video? I didn't think I could have any more respect for your work, but you showed me I was wrong, I can respect you even more. Good job!
This is incredible, from all the VFX stuff you learned, to the editing details and gags in this video. Definitely don't feel pressure to make stuff this ambitious all the time, but this was cool as hell.
It's really astonishing how you made the art and animation for the track, plus it's really nice to see another workflow-based behind-the-scenes video from you, love the fun editing in this one :D

I'm actually quite surprised to see content revolving around 3D software and game development software on this channel. As long as I can remember, this channel has focused on music production, so I'm surprised but greatly welcoming of this style of content! It's been a few years since I last watched this channel as I began to move away from mainly focusing on music production to focusing on game development, software-based artwork and 3D modeling/rendering/programming, so I'm quite happy to see one of my old favorite channels going down a similar path!

Wow, this is the first video/project of yours I've seen, and everything about it is insanely impressive. Goddamn this is so freaking sick! I do wonder though if you've tried other software to create your full scene in? Other game engines, like Unity or Godot, but also 3D software like Blender. I'd personally be interested to see what you could cook up, given that you have so much experience in the general workflow now.
