I swear this guy has to be the smartest, stupidest, most unprepared, and most prepared man

The fact that he knows so much about minecraft, yet so very little about it completely astounds me

the reason why his crops were not growing was because the tick rate is 0 because the fire will also never run out

I love that, despite the fact that he needs slabs and he said he doesn't care how the base looks, *he still goes to find wood and make wooden slabs and not cobblestone slabs.*

I literally died when Sean fell in the hole again and said "There's several times in a man's life..."

Sean's traps are so good, even he fell for them multiple times.

"Where's my horse?" That phrase just become funnier every time he say it 😂

Sean: "My legs were broken, heavily injured" Also Sean: *Has 5 and a half hearts* 36:38

"Move your corpse already" The most realistic and practical words by Sean.

This is probably the most I have ever seen Forge Labs unprepared and disorganized. Usually, he has a plan and gets it down, with a few minor setbacks. But this challenge really put him to the test.

That lag was so messed up lol You did great. This series has the perfect feel of a zombie apocalypse where it gets more dangerous and desperate as you run out of supplies

My man continues to amaze me especially when he fell in that trap twice and survived

I think the random tick speed may have been set to zero, which explains why the crops weren't growing but also why the leaves never decayed and why the fire never spread or went out.

"An ominous holiday" fits the zombie Christmas feel, so I like it.

The fact he had 15 hay bales in the chest whilst needing food at 9:10

'I was hoping I had food in a chest somewhere, but who knows? Later on it got very desperate.' he says, while staring at 15 blocks of wheat in a chest.

I love how he's talking about running out of food and then there is 15 haybales just in his chest

I've got 3 ideas what he should probably play in these 100 day challenges. 1. Desert wasteland: The complete opposite of a frozen map, where he has to find a way to stop himself from burning up in the sun, all while the terrain is composed of desert, canyons, maybe a few oases or skeletons. Mobs he could find would be husks, snakes, camels, scorpions, hares, and lizards. As the days go by, the temperature raises, and it will become increasingly difficult. 2. Deep ocean: There is no land above water and the water surface is much higher than normal, as in you can't make tall structures outside of the water. Your spawn points and your only hope for oxygen and surface items are boats, submarines, underground bases, and caves. The deeper you go, the darker it gets and the more you become dependent on light sources. You can craft scuba gear, oxygen tanks, flashlights, flippers, and diving suits. Mobs to encounter would be sharks, fish, dolphins, squids, angler fish, crabs, krakens, and even megalodons. 3. Mythological monsters: A majority of mobs will either attempt to kill you or assist you (mostly kill). In addition to the well-known monsters such as cyclopes, sphinxes, vampires, werewolves, centaurs, satyrs, faeries, and dragons, there are also lesser known monsters such as girtablilu (scorpion centaurs), Nuckalevee, amphisbaena, and wendigoes. please like so forge labs can see this and reply which one's your favorite.

This madman has to be the most brilliant guy for going out, risking his life to survive a full 100 days, you tried your hardest to make a base and survive, and honestly, don't sweat it man, you're pc crashed because of the game, it's not your fault, imo, you survived 1k days, don't give up

usually 100 day videos are vibrant and use happy/energetic/chill music, and it gets old pretty fast. ForgeLabs on the other hand makes these videos seem a lot more realistic and immersive by making the music and general vibes more monotone and down to earth. It is cool how he creates this immersive atmosphere that actually makes it scary and makes you anxious about the days to come.

The sheer quality of these videos are above everything else on RU-vid. These are special and make me do something I do with no other content. Dedicate time in a day to watch it. These are like films and live up to it every time, have watched these more than twice and enjoyed it just as much every time. Love the style of video and keep it up!

Maybe ticks were set to 0.. Since the crops weren't growing, the leaves were not despawning and the fire wasn't spreading

This has got to be the most stressed and frustrated I've seen him due to the outstanding amount of things that went wrong, his horse, his crops, his base, food, his resources, and even the villager. But some how died less than some of harder videos?

There are several moments in a man's life where he realizes he continues to fall in his own traps. This is not good. The fact you survived multiple times is insane. Props to you

about the crops: I believe you got the random tick speed set to 0 (which would explain why the fire you put on the bottom of the hole didn't went out, normally fire only stays on when its on top of netherrack), in order to fix it you gotta run the command "/gamerule randomtickspeed 3" which will set it to its default state, if you increase or decrease the number the random tick speed will be increased or decreased which has an effect on pretty much anything that has random timings. Also note that if you increase it to much the game will lag massively.

I am surprised that you survived falling into the hole 2 times. I am also impressed, I would have died on the spot!

That death didn't count. You died by lag, i feel like you should've just re-done the siege or something, but to me, you've absolutely won this challenge! Keep it up my man! Suggestion: Try surviving a hundred days in the betweenlands or the twilight forest...

It's pretty obvious whatever caused the lag is at fault for how it ended. Your plans seemed pretty solid so I'd say you did indeed survive for "100" days, but just to be sure, try again! (I say that because your challenge videos are like the best I've been able to find!)

the way I justify 'cheating' after lag-based deaths is "if it couldn't realistically happen irl, it doesn't count." Also good job for surviving all 100 days.

Time to talk about spawning mechanics! Yes, light level is good, but mobs can’t spawn on anything but a full block. That means that stairs, slabs, glass, etc are great lightless ways of spawn-proofing areas. However, it’d have to be every single block. Also, you might want to try using pathfinding mechanics to your advantage. Mobs consider buttons and trapdoors as something they can walk on, even if the trapdoor is open, allowing them to fall. Minecraft can be weird sometimes.

The second it started lagging I knew what was going to happen, we all feel your pain man, we've all been there.

Hey, Sean, you did the best you could. Blood Moons are NOT PC-friendly, especially with mobs able to break and place blocks, that adds an immediate SEVERE spike in tick-lag, grinding both the tps and your fps down to basically nothing, until the game gets the command from the system telling it you died. I've experienced it myself on Rebirth of the Night, and there's not much you can do about it besides either removing their ability to interact with blocks or seriously upgrading your hardware just for this one issue. But hey, you went down swingin', and that's really the most honorable death in a zombie apocalypse.

i think the crops might not be growing because maybe you set the random tick speed to 0. wich would also explain the fire not going out and (maybe) why the floating leaves don't dissapear(unless you're leaving floating logs or dissapearing leaves just don't happen in custom maps).

I noticed your mentions of crops not growing, and fire not going out. From the looks of it, your game's tick speed was set to zero, which stops time for things that despawn, or change (Such as fires, and crops growing)

For future use, if you're trying to spawn-proof an area, you need to either use a bunch of torches/lights of some kind (which was not an option in some parts, of course) or use bottom slabs, not top slabs. Carpets work too.

I think your biggest problem was trying to make the wall too tall. It only needs to be a little taller than the zombies, since they only dig forward rather than trying to scale the wall. The extra height could have been extra thickness to slow them down. The minecart was a great idea though! Edit: Over 100 likes? Wow, weird.
