I believe what he meant was that he can now take more attacks as in that he won't be hurt by attacks as much meaning that it will take many more attacks to kill him.

Love watching others suffer/enjoy this mod pack, hardcore really adds stakes to make every dangerous moment have a lot more weight/oh shit factor. For anyone playing the pack now, do note that battle towers are changed. The golem can decide to aggro you at the second to top chest, and fishing rods no longer cheese them, use knock back arrows instead (piston + arrows).

My first 4 hardcore RL craft worlds were death within 10 minutes. My 5th I got to a castle that had generated near by the beach. Somehow I managed to gear up and get there (after a few failed attempts), cleared the castle, lit it up, and never left.

Some tips for you guys: The best set of armor is tide helmet, leggins, and boots, with a dragon chestplate, its nearly the highest defense you can get, aside from golem armor the rune piercing 4 enchantment makes rapiers deal the 200% bonus damage all the time, even on armored enemies, making it the best weapon in the game tame an epion on a full moon, you can break and place blocks while riding them!

fun fact: theres a lot of things from terraria in rl craft xD like the bezoar which actually also grants you immunity to poison and ankh shield in terraria is a accessory and grants you immunity to most debuffs. and heart containers are pretty similar to heart crystals.

Fun fact: The achievement got when killing a Cyclops is called My Name Is Nobody. This is a reference to Percy Jackson and old greek myths, where Odysseus and Annabelle use the name Nobody to trick the cyclops P.. pe.. I forgot.

The cyclops you're thinking of is Polyphemous! Odysseus blinded him with a giant stake so that he and his crew could escape the monster's den before being devoured. The "My Name Is Nobody" bit came into play after the blinding. Polyphemous called upon nearby cyclops for aid, but since Odysseus told him that his name was 'Nobody', the rather stupid cyclops cried that 'Nobody Blinded Me!' and was understandably laughed at by the others. Of course, since Odysseus is a hubristic dingbat sometimes, he couldn't resist taunting the cyclops as he sailed away, and finally gave Polyphemous his true name...which the cyclops promptly used to ask his father, Poseidon, to curse Odysseus and his crew.

While pain found 2 "forrest stronghold"(one of the rarest dungeon in the modpack) in 100 days I struggles to find a "nether four tower" in 150 days playing

you can just use the saw in the crafting 2x2 or on a table and it'll give you sticks, no levels needed. really useful for early on 15:47

Also I personally use a hopper so I can smelt more things at once when looting. All of that diamond farming at 51:30 could be easier with a hopper and chest.
