That mid air slap is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen in anomaly

On my first Gamma playthrough ever (middle difficulty) I met a legendary loner in an exo when entering Yantar for the first time. I had low rep but he still joined me......I used him as mobile cover for countless hours :) Didn't have any tools or equipment for him so his guns where all 0% dura and all he did was reloading constantly. But ..... exo cover :)

The Snork Slap sound was brutal

The SA-58 and ISG Saiga! You have no idea how happy it made me when you grabbed that loadout--it's my personal favorite combo, used it in my own series. The ISG Saiga goes really well with the Barska sight for CQB.

Green stashes dont spawn any tools beside Basic, Gunsmithing and Drug Making, white stashes can spawn all of them if you are in the right areas, Expert tools only spawn in northern areas (areas past Dead City/Army Warehouses), aside from Limansk, Jupiter and CNPP South for some reason. White stashes arent randomly generated after their initial spawn, so if you have to go back to a save before you got the items, the stash will have the same loot, no need to worry about it.

Expert tools on day 13, no waayyy... Here I am in my current run, must be day 30 or 40, STILL NO DAMN EXPERT TOOLS. Keep at it @Cheeki, that's good stuff you're putting up ;)

first gamma playthrough i did took me somewhere around 70 ish stashes in nothern area's and only found expert tools at the cnpp when i was basically done with the playthrough. on my latest playthrough i found em after like 5 hours after setting foot in the nothern areas in a white stash in outskirts. its a little tooo random for my liking but hey. also yeah the newest gamma version made alot of zone less crowded making areas like brain scorcher alot easier imo.

Expert tools in 0.9 can only come from white stashes (believe its a bug, but confirmed). Green stashes cannot spawn any tools right now. Congrats on the find though, its awesome with Red Forest too which is the southern most map they actually can spawn in the game!

Good ol' Vovka slapping snorks down to the ground

When using a lot of weapons, like the AK105 Shakal, AK105 SwampThing etc, you can turn on laser sight by holding down L. You can turn it off the same way. It doesnt alert enemies afaik, but it gives you nice reference point of aiming :)

The corrupted save file makes me so sad. Great video as always dude. Looking forward to the next ironman run.

I had the same problem a few times with crashes and corruption of my saves when I tried to enter to jupiter, I remember reading that it was something about an npc loading with a combination of ammo and weapon that made the game crash everytime you tried to enter jupiter, I fixed it using the debug setting to despawn every npc and spawn them again, idk if its the same problem that happened to you but if you encounter the same problem again you can try that, also make a save before entering the first time to jupiter lmao, I had a lot of runs ruined by corrupted saves, with my last non corrupted saves being hours old

I've gotten Expert Tools from white stashes in Red Forest quite a bit, only after the advanced tool adjustment update too which is weird lol

There is a second guy in Yantar that sells the Artifact Melter, don't remeber the name, but he stays near the campfire on the right of the way to the Yantar complex. He can also repair stuff.

i hope EXO gigachad survives this one to the end.

Hello there and friendly greetings! Let me put my 2 cents here: when you play with big modpacks, whatever modpacks it is, before every important actions, ALWAYS SAVE THE GAME! And after you made that important action, ALWAYS SAVE THE GAME! And if you want to be 100% sure, turn on the option "SAVE EVERY xx MINUTES". Trust me, I know how these modpacks works. I made one myself, by myselfs (while gamma is made by a team) so I grew a little bit of experience.... 😉

The Radar can contain alot artiact, you sshould hunt there when you had chance but the forest have really high number of strong mutant.

Bro REALLY ignored radar stash over red forest stash with obtaining expert tools in mind.

Man i miss the time when I played anomaly without any mods.

think you need some ecologist rep for them to sell artifact melter, theres also a second vendor in yantar northeast of the bunker with the same inventory allowing you to get 2 melters per vendor reset (think 2 or 3 days for melter) also NEVER sell artifacts, always hoard for the ultimate end game belt slots (compass, volat emerald, full empty, flash & bubble is the best combo i could come up with)

Same issue, for me what solved it was disabling the mod 302 (athmospheric effects, I think) github version and enabling the same mod 302 but moddb version (in disabled mods). I looked into 302 github version and it's full of crap, not just the single mod itself.

You couldn't buy the Artifact Melter because your rep with the Ecologists wasn't high enough. You'll need to do some missions to raise your rep with them before you get offered it.

Do any fellow Stalkers know if you can use GAMMA but with EXPEDITION graphics package? (Or possibly the Dark Signal mod?) Thanks 😸_👍

im sure as hell that sakharov doesnt sell you an artifact melter is because his supply level is at 2, you need to get it to level 3. it happened to me before, i've done some quests that makes ecologist unhappy and our relationship is reduced so much that sakharov supply level went down to lvl 2, and he stopped selling me some artifact melters.

"even if on paper they're not really the cookie cutter ones" literally picks 2 of the best guns in the game :L (the saiga 12 isg is only bested by the raptr shotgun for mutant killing & the sa-58 osw is imo the best rifle in the game) could have also repaired that nosorog (after converting it to duty) for second best armour in game (unisg is the best but can only be obtained as drop)
