i didnt even know sb took inspiration/was based off of sao, i just started playing sb2 randomly in like 2018 and i had the time of my life, i wasnt even into anime at that time. i even tried to complete the game, like get every drop and stuff, but when i saw how much better other games looked, i started to drift away from sb2. i think someone traded me all the stuff from f11 or f12, but i wasnt high enough level and at high lvls (100+) its so hard to gain xp.

I like this type of fighting more The sb2 fighting didn't have a way to dodge attacks it was just attack and get hit

Its really interesting to watch because I could see how you progressed and compare it to mine. For me, I kept my gold and skill points unused and used only lvl 1 sword and armor until lvl 14. I figured that I can just dodge and not try to outdamage all mobs every single time (peak SB2 gameplay btw). I also didn't buy any armor until I got to lvl 16

Aight hear me out. Not hating at all just giving my opinion cuz I really like the concept of the game. Devs of this game gotta be really lazy or just fearful to add something new. Ima go with the abilities, besides from the speed and regen boost. All of them are the same: "Press me to do more damage". This goes for all the skills for each sword. I really hoped that weapon type despite having offensive concepts could do something different. I mean maybe some ability that debuffs the defense of the enemy, slows down or may add more startup to their attacks, a move that heals you on hit, one that weakens their atk , one that leaves a dot damage that pierces through DEF, a self debuffing attack which deals and insane amount of dmg but in exchange puts you in a bad spot to be hit (dunno maybe reduced DEF and SPD), an execute ability wich scales off X% of missing hp (to be balanced) of the enemy or one that on hit toggles a minor healing or buffing zone. Heck I could go on and on with more things that are seen in other MMO games that arent roblox. and copying that would help instead. These devs really gotta do something to make it less repeatable, they are doing same stuff as the previous game but with some "QoL" changes. man ppl want something new besides being able to dodge the enemies and they CAN. but dunno what is on their heads to not do it. The concepts I said arent complex at all, they could just add some variety to the sword types instead of "Deal more damage" cliche that was being seen in sb2.

For people saying that sword burst 2 mechanics is better you need to remember that this game is still IN DEVELOPMENT which means it isnt done and even though swordburst 3 just came out its graphics are already better than swordburst 2 so stop fighting over a finished game vs a indev game.

Bro how ppl criticize the combat system in sb3, i played sb2 for about 3 years, and when i play sb3, i was amazed how much the combat system has improved, and can actually use the skills more effectively, also the dashes making it easier to avoid and build up adrenaline into it, idc what ppl say, sb3 is an improvement.

ngl, i feel like this game is or the same as sword burst 2 or a downgrade, it didn’t improve in almost any aspect, if you tell me this is just sword burst 2 with new UI and graphics i would believe you, i just play this game to make fun of the height system with my friends, get level 15 and get bored. Even the visual part it looks weird, sword burst 2 was full of neon colors and also dark areas in almost all the floors and it was really aesthetic, i am not saying that this game has better or worst graphics, areas or visuals but is definitely weird to what it was before

man it falls off, visuals look less appealing, GUI looks almost like one of those cash-grab simulator, and doesnt have that same feeling like sb2 does could be nostalgia but I'm talking about immersive gameplay of being in a simulated world with full of bloodlust monsters, menu's cool tho so is its music
