I SPENT 24 HOURS BUILDING RUAN MEI in Honkai Star Rail 

Very good and for some reason getting lucky on her relics, i just need good speed boots and a good ER rope from the Penacony set. She's really op and I don't regret getting both her and her LC. Though, I'm having a dilemma whether to get Ruan Mei E1 or save up for Hanabi since I have Mono Quantum team rn. Who do you guys think I should go for?

I got Ruan mei at 10 pity or so and i wasnt expecting it. I'm out of trailblaze power and she's stuck at level 67

You know how much times I die to this weekly bus five and the first time to use food buffs but some may say skill issue but I was running a mono wind team

​@DanikLauiPll2 I won't leak Hanabi's kit details but I will say that you should save for her instead since she basically a better bronya and will fit on mono quantum quite well especially with Seele

My Ruan Mei is pretty well built she has all the stats I wanted for her 149 speed 213% Break effect 5,2k HP 1,5k Def In other words she's tanky af on top of being speedy and doing dmg with break

@@ACE-it7hj She gives everyone including herself 20% break effect in combat, so you only need to build 160

@@leonxd6995I don’t see what her purpose is in that team, she doesn’t have good synergies with the other units, so I think he is just using her because he likes her. TLDR; Waifu>Meta

ENVIOUS I got my standard 5 star recently at 81 pity closing my eyes praying it’s e1 bronya and it was e1 yanqing that I never used at all (he’s my first 5 star from starter banner so he’s taking revenge maybe 😭)

Isn't 180 break actually needed on her?

​😢​​@@sueme105 Because the Break effect cap is only for her damage bonus trace. But for the rest she having higher Break effect means higher delays and bigger break DMG. Why does nobody bothers to read the rest of her kit thinking she only exists to DMG boost. There is a reason why her cons give her more break effect. She is a CC unit as well. I'm why case I have 217 break effect with 145 spd without the extra 20 BE. 145 is spd more than enough. With err and er set you will get a 3 turn ult with Meshing Cogs or MoTP.

@@robinj4286 how do u have 217 BE with meshing cogs and also u have to make ur Ruan mei tanky to atleast survive in Moc 12 or Gears lvl12 cause enemire hit like a truck

@@sueme105 I'm using Memories of the Past not Meshing Cogs. She is tanky enough with a def body, also Fu Xuan exists. With Fu Xuan even the squishiest unit feels like a tank. Also Gepard as well for other team if the other team is squishy, if not I will go with Lynx.

Bronya e1 is generally good, but if you really need another sustain go for gepard

If you dont have Fu Xuan then get Gepard

Yeah if you have any other good sustain units such as Luocha or Fu Xuan, E1 Bronya is better especially if you don’t have her Light Cone

She's good with literally everyone, himeko gets better with her

I think her and Himeko would be good in pure fiction. Ruan Mei also buffs Himeko's light cone as that was limited by the break part of the light cone, and the light cone would do better in pure fiction as the enemies keep respawning meaning Himeko should be able to continuously break the weaker enemies. But Ruan Mei works with everyone

It'll be fine but I think the Himeko pairing is anti-synergistic because Himeko wants to break so the weakness break efficiency and extension kind of cucks her. At the same time Ruan Mei gives strong buffs so idk.

No Thief is actually great for her since her kit is mostly surrounds break effect and 180 BE is ideal for her. So with 4pc she gets 16% (32% max from both) and energy regeneration

If you have her LC, then 2Thief/2Messenger. But if you don’t, then 4p Thief is considered the top 2 choice, especially if you struggling to get Break Effect in play.

@@SqurrielEMT s5 Memories of the Past is good enough to not struggle with BE on her, with lesser superimpositions being less comfy but still good. You can also run s5 Meshing Cogs with a BE rope instead of an ERR rope

2 pcs 2pcs set is the most good set for het thou

The boss scales with player level. So yours is far easier than the absurdity that people with level 60+ have to fight

She's incredible in almost any team. She amplifies hyper carry even more too. Her being the first limited 5 star harmony, it's already a given that she's gonna be great.

Ruan Mei is a bit weird to figure out for team comps. The best way to currently use her is in DOT Teams or in Dual DPS Teams. She is not a Bronya Replacement by any means, but unlike bronya she can buff the entire team with both SKill and Ult, and her buffs are universally applicable, so she isn't gated for any content. If you don't have certain characters (Kafka, Jingliu, Blade, Jingyuan) she'll feel a bit underwhelming, but with those characters she is hand down their best support. If you do have Kafka and like using her, I'd really suggest picking her up because she hands down makes DOT Broken, considering she can make DOT's proc twice in a row. Once Black Swan releases, Kafka+RM+BS+HuoHuo is pretty much gonna be one of the best team comps in the game for all content right next to Jingliu Hyper carry.

@@MantisXShadow Not a huge fan of DoT playstyle to be honest. I don't really use Kafka, nor Jingyuan. I could probably use her (If I pull her) with Jingliu , blade and maybe Fu Xuan or HuoHuo and even then, I wouldn't pull a character for a single team. So, yeah, I think I'll skip her.

Correct me if I’m wrong but DH was on an effect res break effect rope too, and I’m pretty sure that’s not optimal unless I’m behind or smt 😭😭
