Over the last 7 years I spent a small fortune trying to figure out what was going on with my body. I invested an incredible amount of time, and energy not only learning but practice and experimenting to find what actually works for me.
There was a lot of trial and error in those years, and working with countless doctors, therapists, coaches, and experts. I hope by sharing my story you don't have to go through all the pain and heart ache that I went through.
I will never claim to know everything, these are just some hard earned lessons that have made a big difference in my life.

Dropping weight training fully and rotating my exercise regime into zone 2 cardio and long walks was one of the best things i did to get myself unstuck from parasympathetic system as a default. The whole concept of lifting heavy weights is predicated on stressing the body to push harder aka "fight or flight" which results in whipping the nervous system. This reinforces the sympathetic state. That being said, once i can shift my body back into parasympathetic state, im going back to the weights Listen to your body, observe the symptoms, dont self sabotage. The body is resilient but that resilience needs a protected environment to develop

Wow you are telling my story... happened when I was 46, single mum, always hard working, always keeping my head up and I thought I was doing well. Then, an infection with a not even very harmful bacteria made my whole card house crash: antibiotics, candida infection that would not go away, they diagnosed cistitis intersticial, no sleep, stress over the roof, anxiety.... I quit my job, did some courses, yoga, nutrition, massage, eventually started working in a health shop and centered my life on healing. Learned so much, still learning. Got much better, people would say I am in perfect form, but I am conscious now that health is not granted, you have to work on it, every day, it's a choice. Thanks for sharing your story!!!

I had a very similar story, Spent over a million to try everything every functional doc recommended. What did and didn't work, what actually maybe made untreated conditions worse. I learned not all functional practices were healthy practices. I started to live more normally, become more resilient when I did hypnosis. I dropped lots of health baggage and structure and actually started live a happy life, not constantly hypervigilant or hypersensitive. Instead of feeding more into this health concept, I trained my body to become more resilient. It worked. Best wishes.

Wow, I did not expect this to be so powerful and hit completely home in just about every way. I have so many parallels to your journey, with a downward spiral since the pandemic, but quietly in the works way before. I don’t visit conventional medicine at all and have taken no more than a small handful of prescribed allopathic meds over the course of my entire life (and over 25+ years ago), but saw a dermatologist (the irony) for something early pandemic, went against my intuition and was talked into taking the antibiotics she ‘suggested’ - “just in case”, and just happened to be living where a burst pipe and mold were - the bathroom directly open to my bedroom each day and night, also naively cleaning it up with no protection on my hands or face. (I doubt I’d have the reaction I did though if I didn’t take the antibiotics, the more I understand antibiotics actually proliferate fungus.) Horrific burning instances of my entire face, then moving to various areas of my body. Much better doing the healing on my own, but still healing. I’ve always had this identity of needing to fix something about myself, and it going way deeper into a deep sense of lack of worth, etc., and it amped way up since the pandemic. Further subtle confirmation that all of what you said is exactly what I needed to hear, as I gave the 477th like, which is my birthday (month and year). So well articulated and constructed - a great story teller. You are very wise - thanks for sharing your insights and wisdom. ❤

Great video brother. I have a VERY similar story. Being sick in my mid-20s when everyone else is partying and healthy can make you become obsessed with answers and feeling like a victim. The identity bit of this video - I couldn’t agree more. So true. Love your work and ethos. Thank you 🤝

@@wellnessdaddyI think he is being serious?! - I just transitioned from a polyester comforter to an organic cotton one, and I think it’s making a difference. Because polyester is really not breathable / it’s a plastic derivative?!, and obviously cotton is more breathable. ❤

This content, particularly this video, is an eye opener. I've been dealing with anxiety which I am still unable to explain its source. I believe it's baggage accumulated throughout the years, but it led me to resign from my job a year ago. Various therapies, various medical tests, ended up in the emergency room thinking I'm having heart issues... still working on it. Something really triggered something during covid, and I believe it is somethingS. During that time I've moved apartment on my own for the first time, I've had stressful situations at work, I was scared to death of the covid vaccines, I was sick at one point (probably covid) which affected my breathing and caused GERD, I did a mistake and drank way too much alcohol at one point knocking myself out. I believe in the gut-brain connection A LOT. In fact, when I get into anxious moments, it always seems to start from a sensation in my gut. Probiotics helped for a while. Physical training helped. Massages help. Meditation helps. I'm sure the lack of Vitamin D is not helping, but there's so much things to try, yet I can't find anyone who can really guide me and explain things. So I end up spending hours every day reading, but this puts me in a state of anxiety even more, cause it creates even more of the unknowns and "what if" moments. So much I can relate to in this video. This is why I really admire the work you're coming up with. Keep it up and take care. Much love from the other side of the globe, Kyle :)

Been following you for a couple years now. Very cool to see your progress. I'm sorry about the autoimmune issues. I'm around the same age and also have had severe autoimmune issues. Have you ever heard of TMS? Dr. Sarno has some really interesting books out about the connection between physiological symptoms and subconscious emotions. That's the next rabbit hole I'm diving down on my health journey.

Anyhow, I'll just drop it here, explore meditation & yoga at much deeper levels, with the right methods, community support and inner clarity, these dimensions can heal and evolve you beyond all logic, best is, they are available for people with little money as well, it depends only on your perception levels and clarity of being

I appreciated your video and know that you have good intentions, but I can't help but notice that you mention many 'Plastic Shamans' who copy Shamanic cultures to gain admiration and money. For example, the 'Wim Hof Method' is just a copy of Tibetan Tummo with Taoist meditation and breathing techniques. Meditation, cryotherapy, breathing techniques, bigu diet, sauna, trance, psychedelics, etc., all came from Shamanic cultures. PS: I have nothing against people using elements from other cultures, but history needs to be preserved from these charlatans. It doesn't matter if they do it for money, nationalism, or just fame.

Bro you're missing the biggest parts for health. Imagine a pie chart with 9 x 10% slices and then 100 x 0.1% pieces. You're neglecting/missing a few of the big slices and focusing on the little 0.1% slices. Those little slices only matter when you also have the 9 big slices. Peace
