I've always thought the AM solo queue was so much better than the evening and today I proved it. Matchmaking doesn't mean much these days so you're at the mercy of whatever type of player DBD gives you.
Those bozos that give up first hook or DC on first down just don't have the willpower to wake up at these times so they just can't be matched with you. Not only that but the survivors that DO get on at these times love DBD... I mean they woke up to play it at 7am.
Another thing I've noticed is killers aren't particularly great at this time either. Maybe survivors who mainly just play SWF and not killer opt to play killer at this time while they wait for their friends to get on.. it's crazy but hey every 7am match feels this way.

Literally DbD between 10am - 5pm = I’m pulling my hair out from teammates abandoning, throwing and sandbagging while killers tunnel and hard amp at the first second of the match 1am - 7am = some chill games, couple of farming, meme killers, amazing teammates, proper competitive killers and survivors but not toxic

I also thinj there should be a ranked an unranked game play to separate the more serious players from the people that are just playing for fun... I hate playing solo when two friends are just looping and trying to get flash saves and have no intentions of getting anyone else off the hook. I played 3 games yesterday the first two games I got 1 hooked.

Dude I completely agree with this! Like playing DBD survivor (for me) ONLY in the morning is the way to enjoy it. Killer at night. That's what I've noticed in my 2 years of playing this game. The only explanation I can come up with is that since there is a pool of more people playing DBD in the morning to afternoon, the likelihood of having a more balanced matchmaking will increase. AKA, you will be matched with survivors of equal skill to you (according to MMR).

Noticed this for years. A.M. gamers have caffeine in them so most decision making is better and faster. Evening gamers have come home from work and are tired/brain fatigued, so games are generally more sloppy. Time of the day makes all the difference. Good to see someone document this. Ive also noticed its mostly console gamers on after 8:30 pm weeknights. Still trying to work out why that would be.

This is legit my life. Its all i get, i solo queue only as my friends are all sick of exactly this. I just play super altruistically wont leave til were all out etc and the moment i get downed after getting someone else off hook its a 3 man out and i die. Just, sick of it 🥺 i can only play super early morning and i win some games and the people i play with are better, otherwise... Its a shit storm! But youre 100000% correct Corey, morning queue is so chill and fun. Good AM games only. I play between 6.30am-11am for optimal results 😁

I usually play dbd during the hours that weren't in this video (1am-6am) due to my work schedule and those queue times are seemingly random aside from the fact that most of my survivor teammates aren't necessarily the greatest at decision making

I don't really play this game anymore as I started to feel that I hit a skill wall where I wasn't good enough for the regulars but was too good for the inexperienced players and it just stopped being fun for me. That being said I always played in the morning. It was just much more fun. Any time that I let my brother talk me into playing a night time game I ended up having a horrible time.

If you're not good vs clown pre throw pallets when looping and W key is your best friend, if there's two options like a window and pallet or jungle gym and another option or pallet try to fake you're going toward the jungle gym and take the other option also clowns hate breaking pallets I know because I mained clown for a while when entering a jungle gym just exit the other side no doubt the clown will throw a preemptive bottle and try to mind game you just exit the other side and continue W keying to the next available option.

I'm EU, when I used to play dbd, queues were better before like 1pm I'd say, and they started getting good again after 11pm. Queues are also way better during the week than at the weekends. Maybe the reason for this is that the queues during the night tend to have more mature players that are older and care less about the game, or maybe it's just because people are tired and so play less serious. I don't know, but I agree that queues are better at these times.

Tbh I've been playing this game for about three years now I believe and I use to be able to win games solo but recently teammates feel really dumb and leave me even after saving them. Killers feel impossibly OP recently so I can barely even win. Regardless I still try, even if the whole team is down 😅 I'm not really sure what perks I should use more often. I've gotten into stealth mode but teammates are a hassle.

Matter of fact i do agree with the AM Queue in the Pm i get the moonwalkers that have convinced themselves the skill lvl is sky high when they get that chase down immediately and the good ole im never doing a gen crew or im gonna chase the killer after watching to many youtube vids and get hooked shortly after thinkin they got the light saver and fumble everything

It's true though. The early morning hours, Maybe 4-10am EST, were always the best for playing survivor - I never solo queued but even in a duo or trio queue, our randos were always better and our killers always worse. Killer games were always best for me between ~11AM-6PM EST, no swfs and the survivors always seemed a little less competent. The overnight hours were kinda the worst and sweatiest on both sides, lol.

Bruh im in central time and anything after 10am is a nightmare, Solos suck, the surviors suck, the killers camp and tunnel I get nothing but Huntress, Deathslinger, and Blights etc, it is not fun at all unless you SWF, on top of getting the same maps, Midwich and RPD. But from 2am-7am if i'm up no joke you play with All-Stars, the survivors in Solos come through. I hate this game because its not balanced at all in Solos, the people ruin it by quitting, AFK and DC's. I hope the DEVS fix solos and put casuals and rank modes in

I always start my games around 5/7pm and when im really into it, i might play till midnight. Its always first around 10pm that the games start to make fun because they get more chill with better teammates, but I cant always start so late because i have school in the week and don't play dbd at 10 anymore. Means, weekend is the only time where i could get good games. Why is it that at the normal evening times, you always get the crappy games?

It doesn't get fixed because killers can't be trusted to not kill people giving them free bp from hits, that and even when its used for bm, it isn't like there's a counter or real punishment for killer bm, like hitting on hook and slugging to death mid game. Pointing out the door isn't an issue, people spam bagging killers who were nice or played a fair game is rough and undeserved though
