Chris, I can't wait to see you grow. You're so positive and welcoming to new experiences. A true breath of fresh air. You've been working so hard, and I'm sure a lot of us would be happy to support you. Keep it up, and take care of yourself. Also, my fellow canadian is definitely like 43.
As an OG subscriber I would be happy to get a shirt but it would be even better with your logo on the back. As a fellow Canadian (Vancouver) my guesses on Mike are: lawyer or finance/broker, 45 yrs old & from either Vancouver or Toronto. I loved this video and discovering there are islands I didn’t know about in Panama (based on my years working in offshore tax from the legal end wouldn’t be surprised if Mike had some connection to that business). Only thing missing from the video that I would love to hear is the story of how you ended up on that amazing trip.
My 10 Year Old son just sat down next to me when I was watching this video, looked at my screen, pointed at you and asked "is this the actor from Titanic" meaning Leonardo DiCaprio 😂 But bro honestly keep this up! Love your content🎉
First, congrats buddy on 30k!!! I’ve been here for some time and so proud of you getting to this!! Seems like a week ago you were at less than 10k. Good job in your determination and effort!! I love this channel and your genuine personality as you experience these new things. Being someone from the gulf coast and seeing this European man commit to something and challenge himself and see parts of the world you thought impossible is inspiring. ❤ Second it’s great and hilarious watching you be straight amazed by the same oceans I grew up on. 🤣 being amazed by the beauty of the ocean and the sand 💀 and how you say volleyball with your accent lmfao. thank you for appreciating the natural beauty and showing these beautiful parts of the world others wouldn’t know. ❤ and thanks for being an inspiration to all those looking to travel and explore outside of their comfort zones.
You should DEFINITELY look for LITTLE CORN ISLAND in Nicaragua. I would've loved to know at least something about everyone on the boat. Names, countries, something. To me, when I travel, it's always about the people. The landscapes are cool, the places, but what I aim for is to interact with the locals and other travelers from around the world. Take care! ✌️
Also great risks lead to great rewards. I myself quit my job to focus on my passion and make something out of it. Went from bartender to a business owner and now have a body building competition I'm doing in a whole different country! Which will be the first time I travel! If not for the risks, I wouldn't be where I am now and this is just the beggining! Important part is to KEEP PUSHING THROUGH!!
Really love your vids!! The translation for Hangmat is by the way Hammock hahaha. It would also be really cool to discover some great Medieval European cities or some great African countries. Anyways, keep up the great content. In één woord geweldig!
Love your channel and all your positive spirit that just effuses from you as you explore your environment! I can't wait until your travels bring you to the USA. I'd love to see your impression of the US. If you are ever in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC and you don't mind hanging with a 50+ mom as your tour guide, hit me up!
I've been watching you, Chris, since you had 2000 subscribers. I love your channel and find it very wholesome. I'm from America (Chicago), so I'm not so remote for all the places you have been lately. Good luck!
wow..... am in Africa and not just Africa 😂😂😂 African tin village. border of Tanzania to Zambia 😂😂😂😂. I see a lot of tourist pass in our village but unfortunately no one ever stop. Because of language but if someone stop and by any chance meet up with me. it will be incredible 🎉🎉 I know English a little bit 😅😅😅
I had researched this before. Among many many backpacking trips I planned in my head, the Trans-America trip I thought of involved this kind of stuff, though the other way around. The continental route between North and South America abrubtly cuts between Panama & Colombia by the Darien Gap, so I came across these boat tours. Looks much better than I anticipated. I'm now thinking of how to do this right now. I think your roommate is talking about the year 1977, when he's saying 77. So, he's like 46-47, as of now, 2024. Same age as me, but I am much shorter and fatter. It's impossible for me to be that popular, lol.
I know it was just a comment, but this tendency of people who think that just because they're English native speakers or fully bilingual can teach English witout actually getting teaching qualifications is getting higher and higher. You don't know how much damage that makes to us teachers who have studied for years to be able to know how to teach, who've spent years understanding how a language is learned, just to be paid pennies because any random native gets into teaching with zero formal knowledge of the language or teaching. It's not fair for us teachers nor for students who deserve qualified professionals. If people want just "conversation" with a native, there are hundreds of platforms and social networks where they can do it for free. Sorry but I had to say it.
I wouldn't buy - 100k or other promotional type t-shirts. However - scenery, your postcard images, a globe or maps with travels on (maybe your cheapest flight sequence) Yeah, those l would buy!
