I Tried to Survive Fallout 4 for 50 Days in a Zombie Apocalypse using mods!
The modlist I used as a baseline is no longer being updated or officially supported. It is called "Ground Zero" from "Fallout 4 Experiences". Here is a link to their website:

On top of it I modified and installed new mods. For whatever mods you install over this experience, you do so at your own discretion as this list is only certain to work as is by default.

I used to play the Zombie Walkers mod for fallout 4. It's a great mod when it comes to customizing your options. But I think it's got some issues now. It's the only reason I can think of, as to why eventually all my saves with it, end up broken. A memory leak or something. But first time playing it, that happened to me. I camped out near the starlight drive in with dogmeat, and a wandering horde woke us up. They surrounded my poor boy and tore him apart. Then I was invested, hooked, all in, as they say lol

To be fair you can get almost all of these mods(on xbox)but of course we have a 150 mod limit I believe and also the odds of a full playthrough with out crashing constantly are slim to none

I remember installing as many zombie mods as i could without my game crashing, then made it so every human, creature and robot that wasn't essential to quests would be replaced with 5 zombies each. Short version, Boston and Cambridge were a horror game

This reminds me of my favourite zombie game state of decay 2: freak zombies, tiered infestations in specific locations and the set-piece nests that need to be destroyed to open up the map like SoD2 plague hearts. Love it

I don't know when your next Project Zomboid video will be. But right now I'm about to start a run of the game I haven't seen anyone do. Superb survivors with no zombies, based on initial Apocalyptic start. (Initial outbreak without Zombies) Survivors will make bases and with settings in the mod- -will look for food and water, look for weapons, look for guns, need ammo for guns so go looking for ammo, all a lot of things that you yourself need. Granted this might not be the right channel to suggest this pitch to but I wanted to see the best PZ Story teller tell a tale of Man Vs Man with the dead not being a threat at all.

this looks decent enough to be a standalone game. With the added setting of choosing difficulty, like rate of speed the infected places level up and removal of the 50 day limit. and the screen getting blurry when you get hit is a no-no

It'd be great if the zombies didn't attack robots or non-feral ghouls. Thus why KLEO and Daisy would be untouched in Goodneighbor. Unfortunately they were in fact valid targets so the zombies decided to raise several questions by ripping Daisy to shreds.

ugh, i love the mod community. i play on console, but i can only imagine how good and immersive post-apocalyptic game would be with mods like nuclear winter and immersive fallout. kinda of makes me want a new metro or stalker game, or something completely original. I know fallout is supposed to be silly so it might not work well with the storyline, but its nice to dream.

Idk if u have these mods but to make nights scarier - curse of darkness (makes ghouls faster and stronger at night) night of the creeps (add pitch black goals, and bears that are fast and strong) SKK feral nights (makes Feral ghouls hordes spawn at night.
