YES! I'm so glad you finally watched this one. There is a cut version of this interview with only Corpse in it, but I'm glad you decided to go for the real thing, straight from the source and include the 2 other guests who are awesome in their own way, as you noticed. You need to remember this was filmed before the Corpse's big blow out. He had a couple of million subscribers and was big in his niche of horror narrations but was pretty much unknown outside of it. This was before he started playing with famous streamers and before he released any music. To this day, he's only ever given two interviews, both to Anthony Padilla. This is the first one, part of Faceless RU-vidrs and the next one, which you had seen, was him in his own right and was filmed after the blow out. You can see how insanely nervous he was here. He also later explained that he wore baggy clothes for this interview in attempt to disguise his body shape, only to release picture of himself for the cover of White Tee, which does nothing to hide his body shape. The first RU-vid person he revealed his face to was Mykie, who is Anthony's girlfriend - that's why Anthony was so surprised. I suppose this is how they connected. He said he wears a mask all the time, even at home, and definitely any time in social setting. He's done that for years before the pandemic, but now it's more socially acceptable. I don't know if Anthony has seen his full face, I don't think he takes of his mask in front of people for any reason (he did mention he is pretty skilled in eating with mask on), but he's definitely seen his masked face. So, in the second interview, when they were discussing disturbingly accurate artwork - he mentioned how the hair, the eyes and the eyebrow shape were all the same - all of which you can see even if someone is wearing a mask. Seeing the interviews back-to-back, you can see how much his attitude to certain things changed after the blow out. In here, he was toying with the idea of doing the face reveal, while in the second one he abandoned the idea altogether, because he thought it would be too much to have that many people judging his looks all at once.
Kasia my friend I am so happy to see you commenting. As a lifelong wrestling fan I have heard of many wrestlers in Mexico (luchadors) wearing masks full time including in the shower up until the 2000s. This comes to mind with your comment. To the wrestlers they were living their gimmick even when not wrestling and maybe this is another reason why I find Corpse to be such an intriguing figure. I'm happy you recommended the interviews as it also gave me the ability to realize he's a very interesting, funny and humble guy. I can imagine in today's world with facial recognition etc that its harder and harder to stay unseen but I would very more than cool never seeing his face and always wondering.
